Karina bit into a piece of pumpkin pie in front of her as she glanced furtively, or so she thought, at the Gryffindor table, especially at a mysterious ginger haired girl with beautiful eyes named Winter Kim, a Gryffindor with courage and confidence, she did not hesitate to defend her honor,  and her friends.

 Karina Yu was an observer who could deduce that, plus she had the chance to exchange a few words with her, not as many as she would have liked, but enough to realize how kind and polite Winter was in her eyes.

 Maybe it was all of those things combined that made her heart race and she realized that small details about Winter caused her to fall in love with her.  Maybe if Karina was brave enough she wouldn't suffer while sitting in the large dining room appreciating the way Winter smiled and laughed.

 Karina remembers exactly the day her eyes met Winter and how her curiosity made her want to know more about her.  It happened at the tournament between Gryffindor and Slytherin, Karina was never a sports fan, she was just dragged along that day by Giselle and Yeji.

 While looking up at the sky watching how they tried to grab the golden snitch, Winter caught her attention, she managed to catch it between her fingers while her broom stopped and she raised her hands in victory while a commotion around her occurred.  Karina's eyes were always watching Winter and her heart stopped beating when laughter escaped Winter Kim's lips.

 It only took a little time for her to realize that they shared some classes, however, Karina never realized it because Winter always sat at the back.  It didn't take long for her to meet Winter and exchange words that ultimately led to feeling too nervous or embarrassed to be around the Gryffindor with the most beautiful eyes Karina had ever seen.

 Winter is very friendly, funny, focused and very brave.  Karina was in love and at the same time she felt jealous, she wished she had a little of all the advantages of a Winter, so she could exchange more words when they met.

 Karina blinked when Giselle sat beside her, and followed her gaze until she found Winter.

 "Stop thinking about Winter Kim."

 "I didn't think about her," Karina lied, looking away from Winter.

 "I think it's better for you to talk to her rather than admire her in secret."

 Karina calmly her temples before looking around and leaning closer towards her friend.  "Giselle, I think I'm falling in love with Winter, maybe?"

 Giselle snorted softly, "Wake up bro, it's very obvious."  She taunted.

 Karina sighed in frustration, then looked back at her crush who was now laughing with her friends at the Gryffindor table.
