But the secret they keep is that they are also warriors of light, tasked with keeping the shadows at bay from the innocent citizens of Korea. The woman has gifted them amazing, magical abilities to fight the evil.
This is the story of Charm: idols by day, magical girls when evil dares to appear. How will they live their lives trying to be all of this while also managing their normal lives through highs, lows, happiness, and heartbreak?

It's been a while and I've been addicted to Ive's Accendio. So I'm back with a new fic using some of my favorite things: magical girls and kpop. The story takes inspiration from all the usual suspects (Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica...) and while it will dive into idol life, a lot of it will be balanced with the magical girl aspects.
i've added the necessary things (i think) regarding her wish (toward the end of her background) and why she chose security (plotline section), but the general gist is wanting to live a life where she doesn't have to worry about anything/her future which could be a range of things (money, opportunities as an idol/future career, etc.) since she's supposed to be the one who thinks these things through.
as for her having enough money, in her background it's written her father saved plenty for her and her brother's education + just her own spare savings from several part-time jobs and selling their old house. in her dreams/trivia for her trainee arc, it was actually due to her brother wanting to become an idol so she basically went "i'll become an idol/trainee for you", but left after her contract was up bc she couldn't do it without thinking about her brother being gone, then ultimately became one again due to jinhee, the wish, etc.
