"5." Chanyeol and I replied in a low tone.

"And you're always together, right?" He added.

 

We nodded. I looked at Chanyeol and smiled.

 

"Tell me, are you a couple?" The principal looked at us eye to eye.

"NEVER!" We chorused.

The principal chuckled. "Come with me."

"WHAT?" Chanyeol and I were shocked.

"Sir, this is impossible!" I grunted.

 

The principal didn't listen and walked away. I scoffed and ruffled my hair.

Chanyeol sat down and slept.

 

"Yaaaa! What do you think you're doing?" I kicked his chair.

"Do you really expect me to clean this mess?" He raised his brows.

"No." I replied. He went back to sleep.

 

I walked around the messy stock room and found some random drama costumes.

 

"Yaaa! Idiot! Come here!"

"What is it now?" He yawned.

"Wear this." I smiled and gave him a pirate costume.

 

He scoffed and changed.

 

"Awwww, you look cute." I teased. "Let me find you a hat." I smiled.

 

Then...

 

"Chanyeol ah!" I shouted. "Where are you?" My voice was trembling.

 

The light's were turned off.

 

"Don't worry, I'm here." He whispered and wrapped his arms around me. I can feel his breath on my neck. "Don't move." He added.

 

I was shaking. I've been always afraid of the dark maybe because I think people might leave me alone but this time, I feel so secured.

 

"Thanks Chanyeol."

Detention ended at 11:30AM. LUNCH.

 

I went to my locker and saw some random letters inside. Seriously? 

1...2...3...4...15 notes, all unknown except for one. 

 

"From: Ahn Chan Doo"

 

I scoffed. Who's this?

 

"Trishy!" That voice was so familiar. I looked back, he smirked. He went closer and ruffled my hair.

 

"Seriously Kai? Trishy? Can't you be more creative?" I grinned.

"What? It's cute." He chuckled. Mocking me again, eh?

"What's that?" He asked pointing at the papers I'm holding.

"This? Random letters." I rolled my eyes and threw them. I kept the letter from Chan Doo.

 

"Let's eat!" I pulled Kai to the canteen.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol are at the canteen. They waved at us.

 

I sat next to Baekhyun and Kai sat right in front of me. Kai smiled. I covered his  face with my hanky.

 

"Idiot." I muttered.

 

"Awwww, you look good together." Chanyeol teased showing his creepy smile.

"Shut up." I grinned.

 

"Seriously. Kai, you should ask her out for prom." He added.

 

I threw my notebook at him. "Idiot."

 

"I'll go.'' Baekhyun whispered to me.

"Why?" I pulled his arm to stop him.

"What's wrong?" Kai asked.

 

"Nothing." Baekhyun replied in a low tone and walked away.

BAEKHYUN'S POV

 

"You look good together."

 

These words kept on playing in my head.

 

The prickling feeling on my heart is back again. I felt like I was shot. Breathless.

 

I went back to our table. I was trying hard to smile but then I saw Kai was already sitting next to Trish. I held my chest. My heart skipped a bit. I took a deep breath. I smiled and sat down.

 

Trish suddenly chuckled. "Guys! Look at this!"

 

"...Please look at me too."

 

Chanyeol tickled her. "YEEEE! She has a secret admirer." He teased.

"Shut up." She crumpled the note then threw it at him.

 

"Hey Trish! Who would be your prom partner?" Chanyeol asked.

 

Then Kai and I looked at her.

 

"I'll think about it." I sighed and smiled.
