It's Just Water

"IT'S JUST WATER"
Remember when your mom told you this exact phrase whenever you were afraid to get into the bathtub? Into the pool? When you were afraid to let your emotions show? When you didn't like the medicines and she had to coax you into drinking it?
But you know the one time she didn't tell you this was when you wanted to swim in the ocean, paddle by the beach, when going snorkeling, maybe? Diving? That's because the Ocean is far more dangerous. It's one of those times when the very water which calmed you, cooled you & helped you would turn against you. Hurt you beyond repair and wound you, take away the people you love and cut through you with white whips. But the Ocean isn't always like that, oh no. It's wider than you imagine and deeper than you know.

Foreword

He looks like a greek statue and men and women alike worship him. He's in final year as well.
Tao hadn't heard him speak so close to him before and for a moment he stood their stunned.
Not just because of his voice but because right then, the sun decided it would shine it's rays directly onto Kris, brightening his face and hair and eyes and making him look like something out of a romance novel.
