Sehun gulped.
“But that doesn’t matter. I’ll be leaving for home soon.”
“Is that all huh?” Sehun bitterly muttered, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek. He averted his gaze, glaring at a pebble sitting on the rough floor littered with other earthly fragments. “You’re just going to leave like that.”
Remorseful, Chaeyoung eyed her plain nails in an attempt to not show her weakness towards him. “I must go. Every reason of why I was here has all been fulfilled. I must leave. I’m going to leave.”
“And what about me?”
Chaeyoung was surprised by that. She stared wide-eyed at Sehun.
“You’ll leave me despite loving me?”
Sehun was making this super difficult for Chaeyoung.
“Now that you’ve finished ‘using’ me, you’re done? Is that it? I’m nothing now?”
Chaeyoung knew he was referring to the letter she wrote to him. She actually winced from the harshness, but it was all well deserved. “This is for the better.” She could only muster from the back of in a small voice.
Sehun scoffed, “You’re selfish and I hate you, sincerely.”
Chaeyoung could take the mean remarks but not those 3 words that left his lips. She flinched as soon as the words scattered out from his mouth.

Chaeyoung could hear Sehun’s ragged breathing, his glare focused on her face. She wanted avert her eyes but she wanted to engrave his face into her memory. She loved him deeply that she’ll rather die than live in a world without him.
The sun peaked from the horizon, and soon the cell was attacked with a fragile ray of light, streaming dimly into the dark room. Chaeyoung could see Sehun more clearly; his clothes wrecked and blood covering various places on his body. She could see that he was clutching his chest tightly, struggling to breathe.
She also noted that he was chained to the wall like an animal. This angered her.
Since she wasn’t chained- which was stupid of the guards. She crawled cautiously towards Sehun. Sehun tried to shuffle further back but the wall stopped him. He could only glare at her, hoping she would distance herself.
“Don’t come any closer.” He wheezed.
Chaeyoung settled in front of him, on her knees. She folded her legs and leaned towards Sehun. She heard his breath hitch and his glare soften temporarily. “You’re hurt.” She mumbled, silently examining his bruised face.
“I’m fine.” Sehun spat.
“No, you’re not.” She skimmed her fingers over his chest where most damage was done. Sehun groaned, bucking backwards from her touch. Despite the pain flaming there, he could feel the tingles where she had touched.
Chaeyoung moved her way between Sehun’s legs and cupped his face
