A Twisted Tale of Bloodlines II
Description
This is the sequel to 'A Twisted Tale of Bloodlines'
Prologue
Growing up meant a lot of things for those who have come of age: to humans, it was breaking free from the tutelage of the people who took time to mold them into the desired citizens that they were ought to be. But growing up and becoming an adult was a different thing for those who ruled the night.
In a vampire’s perspective, reaching 18 years of age meant faster cell regeneration and mastery of the affinities subjected to them. This not only meant maturity in both mind and body. Coming of age also meant becoming a full-fledged vampire – one that has a lot of experience.
This also meant becoming engaged to the person set up by one’s parents – something that separates the elite from the ordinary ones. Growing up also meant becoming immune to the sun – well, that’s in the royal vampire family’s perspective. There is one thing that everyone has to agree though – immortality is at its best when you come of age.
The twisted tales now continue…
Foreword
“But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest.”
