Prologue

"Alright, time for lunch break guys." JB exhaustedly said as he collapsed on the smooth floor of their practice room. 

"Ahhh~ Finally I can breathe normally again." Jr. exhaled exaggeratedly that made Jaebum softly whack his head while the others chuckled and rolled their eyes.

"Don't be a diva now, Jinyoung"

Youngjae was laughing along as he took out his phone from his backpack and saw that he had a new mail.

 

From: Jungkookie

​To: Jae-hyung

​Subject: Hyung!

 

Hey hyung! Morning  practice will be extended today and I don't think I'll make it... just tell Haneul and the others for me. Bye!

"Ey, they sure are practicing hard," Jackson peeked at his phone. "Why am I not even surprised?"

Youngjae just smiled at him and said, "They work really hard."

"Who doesn't?" Jr. in and puckered his lips.

"So, you gonna have lunch with 'em again hyung?" BamBam asked.

Youngjae gave him a small nod as they went out of the building. "Yep."

"See you then hyung" said Yoogyeom as Youngjae started walking towards the opposite direction.

"Bye!"

"See ya." Mark waved.

"Be cautious of the press!" JB yelled after him.

"I will hyung!"

"And make sure you get back on time, got it?!"

"Roger that, sir!"

"And make sure to make a move on Haneul-ah today~!"

"Yeah I will---W-Wait J-Jinyoung-hyung!" Youngjae's face flushed.

They laughed at Jr.'s joke except for JB who smacked him hard this time.

"Don't be too loud, pabo." He scolded. Jr. just shrugged at him.

"It's not really a secret to the public anyway..." he pouted.

"I can still hear you, hyung!" Youngjae shouted with a slightly red face before turning on a corner.

"What's taking them so long?!"

Haneul put her hand on the table so Bomi ended up banging her forehead on the other's palm instead.

"I'm so hungry..." she pouted. "And I rarely get out to eat lunch with you guys these days!"

"That's called life of an idol, Bomi-ah." Woohyun patted her head.

"I'm starting to get hungry too..." Saeron mumbled. Minah, who was sitting beside her heard and also reached out to pat the younger's hair.

Jongsuk, who was sitting in front of Saeron, suggested, "Why don't we just order ahead?"

"Hmm.." Chanyeol pondered and snickered. "Yeah lets. Those two can just eat whatever's left. Coming later than me..."

"Arrogant Channie-oppa alert." Saeron blew a raspberry. Chanyeol just grinned in return and pinched her cheek.

Haneul was looking around until she saw a familiar figure jogging towards the family restaurant.

"Ah, Jae-oppa's here." she announced, standing from her seat and pointing her fist towards the entrance.

Upon hearing his name, Youngjae looked up and saw his most favorite person innocently looking at him that made him unknowingly smile.

"Hey guys sorry I'm late." he apologized while catching his breath. His eyes landed again on Haneul who was just  staring back.

"Hey Hannie."

[A/N] Hello! I just hope you guys enjoy and like this, as much as I am writing it. So far, this is the most confusing/complex plot I've got inside my head, but hopefully I'll be able to pull it off. I think this will be a long story, so please be patient with me and enjoy the ride~ And I just want to clarify, this story isn't really focused on Youngjae and his little crush.
