"Why are we here at the event center again?"

Minjeong asked her best friend who's been unusually fidgety for the past few minutes ever since they arrived inside the facility.

Yunjin linked her arm to her best friend's, clutching it tightly out of nervousness. Minjeong was confused, though quickly chucked it away and smiled at the latter.

"Need me for what? I have work later, I probably won't be here that long."

"I signed up for a tournament. I've been gaming my whole life and I think this is the only chance I'll get to impress her."

"Impress whom?"

Yunjin pointed a chin toward the stage as her best friend followed and landed her eyes on a short-haired girl who was holding a cue card.

"Huh, isn't that your crush? Chaewon, was it?"

"Exactly! She's the MC of the game tournament today. I want to get noticed... and this is the only thing I'm good at."

Minjeong snickered at her best friend's determination, she looked at her wristwatch to check the time only to see that she was already a minute late at work.
