Two MoonsMatsuda was more than just awed by Siyeon's core world. He stared at the landscape, at the floating rocks, which were covered with plants, at the rivers which drew through through the whole lower landscape and at the mountains in the back. “Your house is quite impressive,” he said and pointed at the tower with the with the golden ring behind it.
“It's just a tower. I found yours way more beautiful. Really impressive.”
A faint flush appeared on Matsuda's face and he let out a shy laugh. “No, I don't think so, to be honest. I have seen Mao's core world once. My brother is truly amazing.”
Envy and admiration sounded through his words and Siyeon couldn't help herslef but think that it must be really hard to live with an an older brother like Mao. Smart, strong, successful and superior in nearly every way.
“You don't have to be jealous in any way. You are amazing in your own way.”
Matsuda cocked his brow and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “I didn't say that I am jealous of Mao,” he stated and now it was Siyeon who chuckled. “No, but I managed to hear it from the tone of your voice.”
For a moment, Matsuda looked like he felt uncomfortable but then he let out a sigh.
“My brother is someone out of my reach. I never will be able to catch up with him. They called him genius, you know. He easily could have graduated earlier, if it hadn't been for his friendship to Yixing. He never lost his way and made it from a healer to an Influxor in only one and a half year after graduation. How should I ever catch up with him?”
Siyeon suddenly pinched Matsuda's cheek, even though she had to tip-toe for that.
“You don't have to chase after Mao. You just have to do your own thing. It's your life and you decide the path you want to walk on. Neither your parents, nor your brother have a say in this, though I doubt Mao would ever do that.”
As cheeky as Mao was, he really loved Matsuda and he never would harm his little brother. He would rather kill himself... or kill anyone who would harm Matsuda.
Siyeon's words were heartwarming and helped him to settle down his upset feelings. “You are truly and amazing woman,” he muttered so silently that Siyeon couldn't hear it.
“Now, you have to show me your house!” Matsuda called out. With that, he lifted her up – to Siyeon's protest – and jumped from the cliff they were standing on.
He simply walked on the air over to her house and he only put her down again as they reached the floating island. He didn't touch her inappropriately though unlike many other guys would have done. “Do that again and you will miss some certain body parts,” Siyeon growled and Matsuda raised his hand to console her and to defend himself at the same time.
“Wow, easy there.
