History:

Anya was born and raised to a slightly poor family in Japan. She grew up speaking Japanese and learning Korean as a second language and is therefore fluent in both. All of them are simple people and never complained about the fact that they weren't exactly very wealthy.

Anya had always wanted to become a singer. However, as she matured, she realised that the chances of her making it as one were slim. There were more and more talented people stepping up, and she suddenly felt really... normal. Anya never felt like she was anything special, even thought that was what people saw her as. She has an outstanding voice, but she never realised it. What she did realise was that it would be really hard for her dream to actually come true.

What made it worse was the fact that her father had to undergo surgery on his spine because of his back problems, and that had cost their family a lot of money. Anya knew that trying to pursue a career in music would only burden her family, especially with the risk of her not making it to stardom. Her parents wanted her to become a doctor and earn a good pay, so, not wanted to trouble them, she went along with it. She struggled with her studies because she never had the heart to become a doctor, and it was tough not being able to freely sing in her own home for fear that it would disappoint her parents.

They had moved to Korea when her mother's company's Korean branch offered her a higher position. Anya was 15 years old, and she knew she would really miss the friends that she grew up with and loved so much, but didn't complain. She never forgot about her dream.

One day, she heard about auditions for this group and something inside her told her to try. She optimistically signed up with hopes of finally achieving her goals. She knew that if she made it, it would be better for all of them if she didn't have to stay with her parents all the time and rely on them for things like money and food, and her parents wouldn't have to worry about her so much. She told herself that if it didn't work out, she could always just continue her medical studies.

Anya was a girl who would do anything to make her parents proud, and she wanted very much to be able to do that. By auditioning, she knew it was up to fate to decide her future. It wasn't as risky as entering a music school and trying to step up on her own. For this, if she failed, she could just stand right back up and continue with her studies. So she did it.

Personality: 

Anya is generally a very optimistic girl. She believes in living with no regrets and always tries her best to be the best. She is a cheerful and charming person who has no enemies. She's tolerant and has a really good temper; patience is a virtue. She has impeccable manners and always respects her elders. However, because of all these traits, she is kind of a pushover. People tend to use her to their advantage, asking her to do things for them and bossing her around, which she will without question. Her friends and family have often told her to be stronger and stand up for herself, but she shrugs it off with a smile, saying she doesn't mind.

With other people, Anya is usually shy at first, but when you grow closer to her and she warms up to you, she is helpful and caring. She takes care of people really well. If the group were a family, she would be the oldest sister. Anya however, can't cook. She tries, but often fails to produce good food, and she feels slightly upset about that. Anya loves to sing, and will do it whenever wherever. She enjoys performing for people in simple situations, and used to sing publicly on the streets just for fun.

Anya's flaws, however, include her constant need to do everything right. She tends to put too much effort into trying to be perfect, which is not only time-consuming but also frustrating for her. Anya also has high expectations for herself, which is usually a good thing but can lead to immense disappointment if she fails.

Family Members:

She has a strong relationship with them both and cares a lot about them.

Friends:  Anya had a lot of friends because of her kind personality, and also had a lot of superficial 'friends' because of her pushover side. She stuck close to her two best friends and there were never people who were categorised between 'friends' and 'best friends'. It was either one or the other. But here are a few idol friends;

Kim Himchan | 22 | Dorky, fun, childish, friendly.

Anya had loved B.A.P since they debuted, but met Himchan pre-debut. When she first moved to Korea, she went to a studio and rented a room to sing and play music in as her treat to herself for her birthday. She was really excited and walked quickly into the building, crashing into Himchan, who was leaving. She dropped all her lyric sheets and music pieces on the floor and apologised profusely as she bent down to pick them up. He smiled and said it was okay, moving to help her, when he saw all her original works and asked if he could stay to listen to her. She didn't know whether to trust him, but nodded and let him. He loved her voice and they sang a few songs together. They exchanged phone numbers (Anya reluctantly) and kept in touch from that day on. ^-^ Himchan had wanted her to get into TS Entertainment, but the company wasn't accepting new trainees. He was the one who told Anya about the SM auditions.

 

Kris | 22 | Serious at times, friendly at times, a great, supportive friend.

Anya strongly respects Kris for how well he leads and takes care of s. She looks up to his responsibility and was honoured to meet him. He gives her really good advice when she's upset or frustrated with herself and she looks to him as a caring older brother. She's grateful to have met him and is glad to know that she can count on him. She tries to help him in return whenever she can.

 

Sehun | 19 | Awkward, shy, pretty cool when he warms up to people.

'94 line! They naturally get along and help each other out. She isn't as close to him as she is to the other two mentioned above, but enjoys being with him because he's such a cool, laid-back person. Because they're only a few months apart, she takes the opportunity to playfully . She secretly ships HunHan and admires their close friendship xD

 

 

Best Friends:

Misaki Sato | 19 | Cheerful, fun, friendly, kind.

He's Anya's absolute best friend. He's always there for her and has supported her from the start. He was one of the first few people to find out about Anya's vocal talent and always urged her to audition for competitions and such. They're very close and are childhood friends, having met in kindergarten when his mother accidentally gave him the wrong lunchbox and inside was a sandwich that contained ingredients he was allergic to. Anya saw his dismay and generously offered him her food ^-^ People used to think that they were together, but the were honestly nothing more than best friends. He cried when Anya told him that she had to leave.

 

 

Park Chanyeol | 20 | Happy-go-lucky, bubby, fun.

Anya had always admired Chanyeol's carefree attitude. When she was casted by SM, his contagious smile had melted her heart when she first met him. He would often help her with her rapping because it was her weak point, and she was really thankful for that. She enjoys being with him because his infectious joy always makes her feel at ease. She loves playing video games with him and Baekhyun ^-^

Personality: Tao is a sensitive and somewhat caring guy. He seems cold on first glance and is slightly shy, but is not afraid to express himself when he warms up to you. He relies slightly on other people and loves it when people take care of him. He enjoys being spoiled and he often does because of his aegyo x) To Anya he would be the type of guy who would try to take care of her, but would fail miserably and get taken care of instead. 

How you met: As Anya's rapping isn't very strong, before their debut she would practise a lot. She would do it for hours at a time, trying to learn how to sound good when rapping, and most of the time she wouldn't fare well and get frustrated. Tao once walked past one of the vocal practice rooms and saw her sitting on the floor with her head buried in her hands. He knocked on the door, asking if she was okay. She emotionlessly shook her head sighed, not even looking at him. He realised what she was doing and asked if she wanted help. Anya was surprised because people usually don't offer to guide her in anything, since she seems like an independent person. She said yes immediately and was grateful to him ever since ^-^

 

Back-up love interest; Name: Chanyeol

Age: 20

Personality: Chanyeol is happy-go-lucky and a very bubbly person. He's fun-loving and loves to mess around. He's somewhat laid-back, but knows when to be serious and work properly. He smiles all the time and is always determined to please people, even if it's really hard for him (remember the lasik eye surgery incident, where he would go out publicly even if the camera flashes blinded him and her could barely walk :c). With Anya, he would be happy and carefree, and Anya would find it cute. She'd be the one to keep him in check when he goes a little too hyper x) Also, I heard that he plays online games with Baekhyun, so if Anya gets chosen for this story then I guess Yeollie would have one more person to play with :)

How you met: Same story as above, since both Tao and Chanyeol are rappers :)

Comments/Suggestions: Anya's slightly weak in her rapping. ^-^" Also, if you're curious about how Anya can play all those instruments even with their low financial status, she worked on weekends to pay for violin classes, and learned how to play the piano and the guitar on her own. She also used the money people gave her when she performed on the streets.

Scene Requests: Perhaps a scene where Anya can't get something right and gets so upset with herself that she tears up? Tao or Chanyeol would soften up and pull her into a hug then tell her that they believe she can do it c:
