Dressing style:

She's a very simple person in terms of fashion. She doesn't like wearing things that are too extravagant or flashy because she doesn't like unecessary attention. She dresses to please herself and not other people, as well as for comfort before general physical attractiveness. She likes to look presentable though, and doesn't like it when she is underdressed for an ocassion. Her fashion sense is sweet and neat. She usually wears either soft colours or dull neutrals, depending on the situation. She does enjoy bright colours from time to time, but it all depends on her mood.

ROLL LIKE A BUFFALOH.

Personality:

Anya is generally a very optimistic girl. She believes in living with no regrets and always tries her best to be the best. She is a cheerful and charming person who has few to no enemies. She's tolerant and has a really good temper; she believes patience is a virtue. She has impeccable manners and always respects her elders. However, because of all these traits, she is kind of a pushover. People tend to use her to their advantage, asking her to do things for them and bossing her around, which she will, most of the time without question. Her friends and family have often told her to be stronger and stand up for herself, but she shrugs it off with a smile, saying she doesn't mind.

With other people, Anya is usually very shy at first, but when you grow closer to her and she warms up to you, she is helpful and caring. She takes care of people really well and is the type of person who worries about others before worrying about herself. If the group were a family, she would be the oldest sister. Anya loves to sing, and will do it whenever wherever. She enjoys performing for people in simple situations, and used to sing publicly on the streets just for fun. Anya has a strong passion for music and loves everything about it. She is willing to learn whatever she can. This is good, yes, but it can also be bad, because she invests a lot of emotion in her music and believes that music is an art that comes from the heart. Entertainment companies more often than not have songs written for the artists, who usually have no part in the writing and composition of the lyrics and music. Anya doesn't really like this, but tries to put up with it. She wishes to be a little freer as an idol (think G-Dragon or Yongguk).

Anya's flaws, include her constant need to do everything right. She tends to put too much effort into trying to be perfect, which is not only time-consuming but also frustrating for her. Anya also has high expectations for herself, which is usually a good thing but can lead to immense disappointment if she doesn't achieve her own goals. She is also a fairly softspoken person around strangers, so her opinions are often overshadowed by those of others. Oh, and she isn't the best dancer. Just putting that out there. But she's willing to try her hardest.

Background:

Anya was born and raised to a slightly poor family in Japan. She grew up speaking Japanese and learning Korean as a second language and is therefore fluent in both. All of them are simple people and never complained about the fact that they weren't exactly very wealthy.

Anya had always wanted to become a singer. However, as she matured, she realised that the chances of her making it as one were slim. There were more and more talented people stepping up, and she suddenly felt really... normal. Anya never felt like she was anything special, even thought that was what people saw her as. She has an outstanding voice, but she never realised it. What she did realise was that it would be really hard for her dream to actually come true.

What made it worse was the fact that her father had to undergo surgery on his spine because of his back problems, and that had cost their family a lot of money. Anya knew that trying to pursue a career in music would only burden her family, especially with the risk of her not making it to stardom. Her parents wanted her to become a doctor and earn a good pay, so, not wanting to trouble them, she went along with it. She struggled with her studies because she never had the heart to become a doctor, and it was tough not being able to freely sing in her own home for fear that it would disappoint her parents.

They had moved to Korea when her mother's company's Korean branch offered her a higher position. Anya was 15 years old, and she knew she would really miss the friends that she grew up with and loved so much, but didn't complain. She never forgot about her dream.

One day, she heard about an audition for an entertainment label and something inside her urged her to try. She optimistically signed up with hopes of finally achieving her goals. She knew that if she made it, it would be better for all of them if she didn't have to stay with her parents all the time and rely on them for things like money and food, and her parents wouldn't have to worry about her so much. She told herself that if it didn't work out, she could always just continue her medical studies.

Anya was and is a girl who would do anything to make her parents proud, and she wanted very much to be able to do that. By auditioning, she knew it was up to fate to decide her future. It wasn't as risky as entering a music school and trying to step up on her own. For this, if she failed, she could just stand right back up and continue with her studies. So she did it.

Likes:

  • Perfect weather; sunny but windy.
  • Popsicles.
  • Books.
  • The smell of grass in the morning.
  • Art.
  • Good music.
  • Hugs. She loves hugs. She thinks that when she one day gets a boyfriend, she'd like it more for him to hug her tightly from behind than kiss her. But hey, a kiss is a kiss. I'm pretty sure she'll change her mind the first time she gets one ;)
  • Wool mittens :)
  • Polite people.
  • Little sentimental trinkets.

Dislikes:

  • Snobs.
  • Seeing people cry.
  • People who don't put heart or effort into their work.
  • Disappointing people.
  • Disappointing herself.
  • Failure.
  • Getting her hands dirty (but if someone tells her to do something that requires her to, she'll try to put up with it. she's a pushover, what can you do?)
  • Unnecessarily loud places like clubs or bars.
  • Perfume.
  • Coffee. She just doesn't like the taste.

Hobbies: Singing, playing instruments (piano, violin, guitar, ocarina), reading, origami.

Habits: She often blanks out if you leave her alone. Say, when people are interviewing the group, and no questions require an answer from her, she'll drift off unknowingly. She is very embarrassed about this habit and wants to get rid of it.

Trivia:

  • Her favourite instrument is the violin.
  • She's a manga/manhwa lover and also tries her best to follow the comics that her brother is artist for.
  • How well she sleeps depends on whether she has her sleep playlist playing or not. She likes a wide variety of music, but only a certain type makes her sleep playlist. Examples of songs on this playlist include a video game soundtrack called Eternity: Memory of Lightwaves, an ambient piece called Sign 0 by ChouChou, and piano pieces by Korean pianist 316 (who is her favourite pianist). She plays it at night when she sleeps and it helps her wake up fresh the next day.
  • Her idols are IU, JYJ's Jaejoong and Infinite's Sunggyu, whose vocals she admires greatly. She respects them mainly for the emotion that they manage to put into their music.
  • She loves reading, but not just books of her mother tongue. She reads Korean, Japanese and English books to improve her language skills.
  • She's a huge B.A.P fan and has all their albums (the story of how this happened is down there under the lovey dovey section ;3)
  • She loves the sound of water against metal, like when you're sitting in a car when it's raining and you can hear the rainwater against the roof.
  • She collects keychains. If they sleep on bunkbeds, she usually takes the bottom bunk and hangs all her keychains on the underside of the upper bunk to make a hanging forest of keychains. (: She loves it when fans give her keychains as gifts. She doesn't have a preference; as long as it can be hung, she'll appreciate it.
  • She likes making and eating popsicles. She loves experimenting with new flavours when she does this, and sometimes makes pretty crazy ones (think cheese pop).
  • She has a thing for stars. Her autograph has two in it, one normal-sized, the other tiny.

WHOOPS, ALREADEH KNOW.

Parents:

Kazuki Kiyomizu | 50 | Chef | Responsible, brave, caring, a hard worker. He does whatever he can to support his family and always wears a smile on his face. He always sees the light in things and encourages his children to do the same. He is a content person, satisfied with everything he has, and appreciative of the people around him. He had initially hoped for both his children to choose more secure, well-paying paths, but later on grew to support their dreams.

Miyu Kiyomizu | 49 | Sales Manager | Kind, caring, friendly, sweet, sensible. She is a loving person who constantly worries about her children, but is very quickly reassured by the fact that she brought them up as responsible, independent people. She is used to her son's goals and his position as an artist, but still needs some time to grow accustomed to Anya's dream. She tends to think about the downsides of being an idol, and is slightly pessimistic, unlike her husband. However, she trusts Anya and tries her best to support her.

Siblings:

Kame Kiyomizu (Not an OC, but I changed an actual idol's name. His full name is Kamenashi Kazuya. Japanese idols ftw.) | 24 | Manga/Manhwa artist | Laid-back, cool, fun, protective. He's the type of older brother who loves annoying people for the sake of his own amusement, but is quick to apologise when he realises he's gone too far. He is understanding but protective of Anya. He doesn't have much time for her because the life of a comic artist isn't an easy one. Anya tries very hard to make everything easier for him because she knows what he goes through on a daily basis, and he notices and is thankful of that.

Best Friends:

Misaki Sato | 19 | Student | Kindergarten. Read on for the full story :) | Cheerful, soft, friendly, kind. He's Anya's absolute best friend. He's always there for her and has supported her from the start. He was one of the first few people to find out about Anya's vocal talent and always urged her to audition for competitions and such. They're very close and are childhood friends, having met in kindergarten when his mother accidentally gave him his older brother's lunchbox, inside which was a sandwich that contained ingredients he was allergic to. Anya noticed his dismay and generously offered him her own food. People used to assume they were together, but they were truthfully nothing more than best friends. Surprisingly, neither of them had ever liked the other. He cried the hardest when he found out that Anya had to leave.

Friends:

Luna (Park Sunyoung) | 19 | Vocalist of idol group f(x) | When Anya was still a trainee, her dance instructor arranged for her to dance backup for f(x) on a minor music program. This was to get her used to dancing on stage and to improve one of her weakest skills. Anya was extremely nervous backstage on the day of her first performance. Luna noticed and talked to her to calm her down. They got along really well, and their friendship just bloomed from there. Their close ages also contribute to their bond :3 Luna was born on the 12th of August in 1993, 14 days before Anya. | Happy, sunny, sweet, kind. She is very approachable and has a lovable personality. She makes friends easily with her easy-going nature and is the type who is always there for you. She will listen to your secrets and give you advice. She is also really loyal, and will cry when you cry, and laugh when you laugh.

Kim Hyoyeon| 23| Dancer of idol group Girls Generation (SNSD) | Anya was in the dance practice room trying to learn a practice dance the trainer gave. It was quite a challenging routine in addition to her weakness in dancing, she was finding it extremely difficult to get down. She was really upset and disappointed with herself, and sat on the floor, frustrated. Hyoyeon suddenly walked in and stopped short upon seeing her. She had wanted to use the practice room to dance and asked Anya if she was okay. Anya nodded but was easily seen through because a tear had managed to escape her eye. Hyoyeon smiled gently and nudged her, before pulling her to her feet and saying that she would help Anya work things out. | Funny, cheerful, loves to play and joke around. She is a person who can cheer you up no matter what. She is quirky and happy most of the time, and loves to make people laugh. But behind that is a helpful, caring girl who will be by your side in your darkest times. She is reliable and a good friend all in all.

Rivals: None. Anya hates making enemies, and is the type of person who doesn't do that easily. xD

I HOPE YOH NOTICE THIS, CAUSE ITS TO COOL TO IGNORE.

Him:

Kim Himchan | 22 | B.A.P

How they met:

Anya had loved B.A.P since they debuted, but met Himchan pre-debut. When she first moved to Korea, she went to a studio and rented a room to sing and play music in as her treat to herself for her birthday. She was really excited and walked quickly into the building, crashing into Himchan, who was leaving. She dropped all her lyric sheets and music pieces on the floor and apologised profusely as she bent down to pick them up. He smiled and said it was okay, moving to help her, when he saw all her original works and asked if he could stay to listen to her. She didn't know whether to trust him, but hesitantly nodded and let him. He loved her voice as well as her music, and they played a few songs together. They exchanged phone numbers (Anya reluctantly) and kept in touch from that day on (Anya was glad to find out that he wasn't a creeper. What a pity if he was; she really liked him). Himchan had wanted her to get into TS Entertainment, but the company wasn't accepting new trainees. He was the one who told Anya about the auditions.

Personality:

Dorky, fun, childish, caring. He messes around a lot, but knows when he has to be serious. Whenever someone's down, he's just the right person to look for, because he has a tendency of making people happy, just like that. He's a little dorky sometimes, and super corny, but he's lovable all the same.

How they act around each other:

Like normal best friends? :) He loves to and she loves to . He reminds her of her older brother, so she treats him the same way. When they speak, they sometimes randomly switch between Korean and Japanese just for the fun of it (Himchan can speak a little Japanese, so speaking to Anya in it is good practise anyways). They both love it when people around them have no clue what they're saying. Anya isn't all bashful when she's around him. She hides her feelings for him very well. She doesn't try to flirt with him, and she doesn't like thinking about whether he likes her back either. This is mainly because if he doesn't, she doesn't think she can accept it. She chooses to push it aside and focus on more important things.

Status: Crushing. Hopefully the 'Lovers' status is in progress? :3

Backup love:

Park Chanyeol | 22 | EXO-K

How they met:

(this is based on a true story xD if you've read the fanaccount of an EXOtic who currently has Kai's umbrella? :) )

Anya had heard of the EXO boys before they debuted. One day, she visited the SM building to give a present to Chanyeol, who she heard was sick, when she heard from someone that he was out at that time for a music show pre-recording. It was raining but she had already gone all the way and didn't want to leave without giving it to him. She stood in whatever shade she could find, which didn't help much, for she still got wet. It was cold and she waited for what had to be hours when the EXO van pulled up. She heaved a sigh and went over. Smiling, she gave the plastic-wrapped present to Chanyeol, telling him to get well soon and to take care of himself. He smiled and thanked her but told her to hurry home before she caught a cold. She nodded and turned, waving goodbye. As she took her first step, he shouted for her to wait and dashed inside to get his umbrella. He walked her to the nearest bus stop and told her to keep in touch with him. :)

Personality:

Somehow eternally happy, cheerful, childish, playful.

How they act around each other:

Just refer to this segment for my first choice. I suppose she'd act the same way around him. Minus the language game. Chanyeol's a little more playful, so when he gets a little out of hand, Anya would be the one to keep him in check. :)

Status: Crushing. Lovers status coming soon as well, I hope :D

ERM. BLAH BLAH BLAH 4DIMENSYEONNEURO.

Stagename: Anya (안야)

Persona: the Music Maven

(a maven is someone who knows a lot in a particular field. maven literally means 'one who understands' xD does it sound cheesy? i'm not good at this stuff; feel free to change it or tell me to.)

Preferred position: Lead Vocalist, Sub Rapper.

Fanservice: One of Anya's hobbies is folding origami, so in her free time, she'll fold little paper cranes and sign her name on them. Before and after performances, she'll toss them into the crowd. She also interacts with her fans a lot by waving at them and talking to them. She also tries her best to receive gifts, meaning, for example, if a fan doesn't manage to get the gift to her and instead waits for her outside a venue, she'll try to run up to the fan and quickly get it before rushing off to their next event. She does the same for fans who want autographs or pictures.

BLAH LA DE DAH. WELCOME TO THE NIGHT!

1: How would you react if you found out that your group member and you, liked the same person. What would you do? Let her have him or continue fighting?

"To be completely honest, I would reluctantly let her have him. I know it'll hurt, but I'd rather not fight. I believe that fate will let me find the right person one day, and whether it's the crush I share with my group member or someone else, I'll grow to accept it."

2: Would you mind sharing clothes with your group members?

"Of course not, why would I? I don't see anything wrong with that :) "

3: Theres a dating ban, but you find out that one of your group members is secretly dating. What do you do?

"Oh gosh... I suppose I would... Talk to her? Talk to her about it, and tell her that what she's doing isn't right. If she doesn't listen to me, I'll talk to another group member who I trust and ask her what she thinks. I wouldn't want to report it to our manager straight up. I think that would cause unnecessary drama."

4: For the second mini album, you get to sing or rap a duet with any idol of your choice. Who would it be and what song?

"Hmm... Probably Sunggyu-sunbae? Or Jaejoong-sunbae? I think they have really beautiful voices, and, well, they're my vocal idols. I'd love to sing Jaejoong-sunbae's own solo song, All Alone with him. Or if I do the duet with Sunggyu-sunbae, then I'd sing his acoustic version of Infinite's Only Tears. I know how to play the piano piece for both those songs, so, yes, it would be such an honour to be able to do that."

5: You have been invited to a party. Do you go or not? What would you wear?

"Ah, parties... Uh, if I can, I suppose I'll reject the offer. I don't really like crowded, noisy places like that. But thank you. "

6: You are chosen as lead actress for a new drama. Do you accept? Who would the Lead actor be. Someone else or your crush? What if it wasnt your crush but one of your members crush?

"I'd love to do it! I don't really mind who the lead actor is. I'll do my best whoever it is. If it was my fellow member's crush... Well, it's only  acting, right? If she doesn't like it then I'll try to talk to her. I hate ruining relationships, but if she makes a big fuss out of it, I won't back out. This is such a huge opportunity."

7: You get to film we got married. Who do you choose to be your on-screen husband? If it wasn't who you wanted but your members crush, what would you do?

"Himchan, of course! Oh but don't tell him I said that. In this case, if it was my member's crush, I would try to reject the offer. Dramas are dramas, but We Got Married is a completely different story. I wouldn't like it very much either if one of my members got to be on this show with Himchan."

8: You are in Japan for the debut of your japanese tour. What do you do when a family member gets injured and is in hospital? Do you go or stay to perform?

"A tour debut? Gosh, that's really important isn't it... I suppose it depends on the injury. If it's serious I'd leave, and get someone to pass a message to our fans saying that I'm sorry I couldn't be there. I'll try to make it up to the fans when everything's back to normal. If the injury isn't too bad, I'll stay to perform, but be sure to constantly check on my family member to see if they're all right."

9: You are being stalked while shopping with your group members. You notice him but the others don't. He's stalking your every movement. What do you do?

"Eww. I'd tell the girls to walk faster and try to shake him off. If that doesn't work, I'd look for a security guard and tell him about it."

10: Two of your group members are fighting. What do you do?

"I think it's part of my responsibility as a group member to help them resolve their problems. I'd ask them what they're fighting about and try to help. Though I'm not that great at it. Sometimes the things I say just make situations worse. But I'll try. If I can't solve their problem, I'll tell them to calm their butts down and solve it themselves. Fighting doesn't get us anywhere."

11: You find out your crush likes someone from your group, whom you are very close with. How do you react to this?

"I... Well, I won't think about it. I understand his feelings. I know people can't expect me to change how I feel about him, so it would only be fair if I thought that way about him as well. I can't expect him to stop liking her. I'll try to support him, even if it hurts. If I can't do it, I'd juts push it aside. I can't be distracted."

12: The group is breaking apart. What do you do? Will you be able to bring it back together or will the strings and bonds holding you guys together be cut and thrown away?

"This is the exact reason why I keep trying to avoid conflict in the group! Ugh, I hope this never happens! If it does, yes, by all means, I will bring us back together. I don't want to think about what would happen if I fail. Heck, I will not fail. We'll leave it at that."
