Regrets
Save MeGoodbye
Seo Ha Joon read the note Soo Ah had wrote to him over, and over again. It had all happened so fast, he couldn't believe it. Soo Ah had left him, just like that. It had taken months to get closer to Soo Ah, and she was gone in a blink of an eye. It was all so sudden that Ha Joon didn't know what to do.
Seo Ha Joon. I like you.
How could he have been so stupid? Ha Joon was so caught up worrying about Yeon Doo, that he didn't even notice Soo Ah's feelings for him. Ha Joon had failed to see that Soo Ah had liked him the whole time. He felt horrible. Ha Joon felt as if someone had driven a dagger through his heart.
I know that you don't feel the same way, but I didn't want to leave with any regrets.
Ha Joon hated this part the most, because it was a lie. At first, Ha Joon only cared about Yeon Doo. He had acted as if she was the only thing that mattered. But after hanging out with Soo Ah, his feelings began to change. Ha Joon had fallen in love with Soo Ah without knowing it. Tears fell from his eyes. How could he have been so careless? He could've at least let her know that he didn't like Yeon Doo anymore.
I probably won't ever see you again.
After reading these few words, Ha Joon's heart completely shattered. The thought of never seeing Soo Ah again devastated him. He didn't know what to do. Ha Joon looked at the box underneath the letter. Slowly, he unwrapped the gift. Inside the box, was a white scarf. Along with it was another letter. Ha Joon slowly opened up the second letter.

Surprise! I hope you like the gift. I know that this isn't the greatest gift ever, but you may need it in the future. Whenever you are lonely, hurt, or sad, wear this scarf. Since I can't be there all the time to comfort you, this scarf will. Use it when you feel like you need a warm embrace.

He fell to his knees and began to sob. Ha Joon hated himself. He hated how he was a fool, for not realizing how Soo Ah felt. He hated how he was a jerk, for not caring about her. He hated how he was a coward, for not telling her how he felt. And lastly, he hated how he was too late. Too late to say goodbye. Ha Joon wept until he couldn't any longer. Then, he sat, in silence. All he could think about, was his
regrets.
