Confession
Boys Over Flower 2For the current standing of the Amazing Race, So Hyun’s team was on the lead so far. So Hyun and her team were on the fourth station and were inside the forest. They were currently searching for the largest tree in the forest. According to the clue that the teacher (Teacher Lee from station 3) has given, they have to go in the forest and search for the largest tree for the envelopes were hidden just around it.
“There it is!” So Hyun exclaimed, pointing just ahead of her. “The largest tree in the forest.” She declared and went straight to the tree, her team just following behind her.
So Hyun and the rest of her team started to search under the tree for the envelopes. Minhyuk and Peniel were now digging the soil hoping that they will be able to find them but they still couldn’t find anything, not even one.
“It’s not here!” Lalisa exclaimed, frustrated.
“They have to be here! The clue says so.” Peniel said, kicking the ground.
“The envelopes were supposed to be AROUND the largest tree! Where the heck did they go?” Minhyuk added.
“Something’s not right. Maybe there’s something that we’re missing.” Joo Hyuk stated.
“What’s going on here? Where are the envelopes? According to the clue, they have to be around this tree.” So Hyun asked herself and started to search around, looking for some answers to her own question.
She could hear her teammates complaining and arguing but So Hyun kept on walking and searching around the largest tree and at the same time, she would stare at the trees around them. Then, it hit her.
“That’s it!” So Hyun shouted making the others turn to her. “I got it.” She added.
“What is it, So Hyun-ah?” Joo Hyuk asked.
“Don’t you get it? The clue says that the envelopes were just around the largest tree.” She started.
“Are you deaf? We already looked but there’s nothing around it!” Lalisa exploded.
“Just listen!” So Hyun countered, glaring at Lalisa and she went silent. “What if the envelopes were hidden on a different tree somewhere?” So Hyun asked excitedly but her team just gave her their blank looks.
“Yah! The clue says the LARGEST TREE.” Peniel reminded.
“I know that. But the clue says AROUND THE LARGEST TREE right? Then it has to be another tree somewhere near the largest tree.” So Hyun explained and they all made faces of enlightenment.
“So Hyun’s right. The teachers might have written this clue the way it is to trick us.” Joo hyuk concluded.
“Fine. Whatever. Let’s just start searching around then.” Lalisa acknowledged.
So Hyun and the rest of her team started to search for the envelopes. They search all the trees around the largest tree and after a short while, Joo Hyuk shouted from somewhere, letting his team know that he found one envelope.
“Alright! We got one. Time to head for the last station.” Joo Hyuk declared and they all cheered.
So Hyun and her team started to head for the lake, where the last station was located. As they were walking out from the forest, So Hyun’s team encountered Yoo Jung and her team. Yoo Jung’s team were now on their way to the 4th station. As soon as their teams have met, So Hyun and Yoo Jung both stopped from their tracks.
“Joo Hyuk, So Hyun.” Yoo Jung greeted.
“What now? Don’t you guys have to hurry? I mean, you’re still headed for the 4th station while my team and I are already headed for the LAST station.” So Hyun countered, smirking at her.
“Aisshh. How dare she boast at me?” Yoo Jung thought.
“Yah, Gu So Hyun. Don’t be so mean.” Changsub exclaimed, glaring at her but So Hyun ignored him.
“Okay, that’s enough. We better go.” Joo Hyuk gestured to his team. “ALL of us.” This time, he gestured to Yoo Jung’s team and they all started to disperse except Yoo Jung and So Hyun who were still glaring at each other.
“Boast all you want, Gu So Hyun. But I’ll make sure that you will lose this one.” Yoo Jung whispered to her.
“There it is!” So Hyun exclaimed. “You finally showed me what you truly are. You’re still the backstabbing, lying and manipulative pretender that I know.” She added. “And I can’t wait to see you actually try and make us lose this race. After all, I can’t see any other way. I guess you’ll just have to see us WIN instead.” So Hyun answered boldly and went to follow her team heading for the last station.
“Argghh! That ! I’ll make her pay for this.” Yoo Jung decided to herself.
“Yoo Jung-ah!” Changsub called. “Where did you go? I thought you were following us. We need you. We can’t seem to find any envelopes. Maybe the clue is wrong.” He continued.
“Now, what? Aisshhh.” Yoo Jung started to walk towards Changsub when she noticed something on the ground. “What’s this?” Yoo Jung asked and went to pick up the thing she saw. “Is this an envelope?” Yoo Jung exclaimed and opened it and she saw the puzzle pieces from the 3rd station.
“What is it?” Changsub asked and was about to come closer.
“It’s nothing!” Yoo Jung stopped him. “You go ahead and I’ll follow.” She insisted and Changsub went ahead. “This envelope must belong to So Hyun’s team. It’s either she or someone from her team must have dropped this.” Yoo Jung guessed. “Ha! What did you just say, Gu So Hyun? You can’t see a way for me to make you lose this race? Well, seems like I found one.” Yoo Jung exclaimed, smiling all to herself.
Somewhere in the forest:
“Ugh! I can’t believe I actually ate that stuff!” Suhyun exclaimed.
Suhyun and the rest of Chan Woo’s team were now on their way to the 4th station. After eating the chicken feet that Teacher Lee have prepared for them, Suhyun and Jun Hue immediately threw up because it was their first time eating that exotic food. But eventually, the teacher gave them the envelope and the clue.
“And whose fault is that, exactly?” Jun Hue asked, looking at Suhyun accusingly.
“Stop it, you guys.” Chan Woo demanded. “Just keep walking or you’ll get left behind.” He added.
“Are you saying that it was my fault?” Suhyun countered, ignoring Chan Woo. “Yah, whatever the menu that we’ll pick, it would still be an exotic food, you stupid.” Suhyun continued, addressing Jun Hue.
“Aisshh. Yah, Song Suhyun. Did you just call me STUPID? Yah, did you just forget what you did to me back at the swamp? You despicable, wailing woman! How dare you call me stupid after what you did?” Jun Hue exclaimed, pissed.
“What? It’s true! If you’re not, then that wouldn’t have happened to you back at the swamp.” She countered.
“Uhmm.. guys?” Chan Woo tried to catch their attention.
“Just leave them. We have to hurry and find the largest tree. I’m sure they’ll catch up. It’s not like they couldn’t keep up with us.” Chaeyoung suggested.
“Okay.” Chan Woo agreed. “Hey, you two.” This time he turned to Suhyun and Jun Hue who were still arguing. “Fight all you want but we will not stop walking, so you two better keep up or you’ll get separated from us.” He added. “Hello? Are you listening?” Chan Woo asked but they just ignored him and kept on arguing.
Suhyun and Jun Hue were still arguing and they didn’t notice that Chan Woo and the rest of their team were already gone from their view. They finally got separated from them and they didn’t know where they were.
“It’s your entire fault!” Suhyun blamed.
“What the hell? How come it’s my fault? You’re to blame too!” Jun Hue countered.
“Aisssh. Now what do we do? We’re totally lost.” Suhyun exclaimed.
“Damn! That’s why I hate camping.” Jun Hue burst out. “We have no choice but to continue walking. We might just find a way back to our team.” He decided and started to walk but he stopped when he heard something.
“What?” Suhyun demanded.
“Did you hear that?” Jun Hue asked, searching his eyes around.
“Yah! Don’t do that! Stop scaring me already.” Suhyun ordered but she also heard something this time.
“There’s someone or something out there, I’m telling you.” Jun Hue insisted.
Both Suhyun and Jun Hue stopped moving and stayed alert. They saw something moving on the large bushes just in front of them and they began to step away from it. They walked backwards and side by side until something went out from the bushes, making them scream.
“AHHHHHH!!!” They screamed and hugged each other at the same time, feeling terrifie
