"Mmmhmmm~"

The door open showing halmoni, looking rather shocked

"Morning" I greet

she scoff "So it is true."

"What is?" I put on my tie

"What time is it? Did your clock broke? You woke up too early today." she announced

I done tying my tie and look at her "Today is a very fine day, it would be a waste to spend it on my bed."

her eyebrow furrowed "What's wrong with you? Are you sick? Should I call the doctor?" she place her palm on my forehead

"I'm fine halmoni." I take my blazer "I'm going."

"YA! You're not going to feed Mason? I still be the one who feed him breakfast?" she yell

"Eung!"

 

I take a look at myself on the rear mirror and gave myself a last check.

I look good.

As always.

I step out from my car and ring the JaeIn's doorbell. I step back and put my hand on my pocket. But there's no answer. I ring the doorbell once more,

*DING DONG*

*DINGDINGDINGDING DONG*

The gate slam open "YA!" a disastrous looking Bom nuna came out.

She look at me with her squinted eyes "What time do you think this is? People need their sleep!" she yelled.

I back away "I'm here to pick up JaeIn."

"She left about an hour ago. Aiisshh.." she slam the door.

What the...I know she left early, that's why I woke up earlier than I used to. But how can she went to school this early?!

I walk back to my car and drive myself to school.

 

I slam the door open and see the class half filled.

I can't believe I'm here this early.

I walk towards my desk, and pull my seat so that I'm facing her.

she turn to me "Good morning, you're early."

"What time do you wake up?"

"6 o'clock"

"WHAT?!" my voice raised, making her jump "School start at 8, you don't need to wake up that early."

"But I-"

"What time do you go to school?"

"7"

"WHAT?" she jump back "It only takes half an hour to get to school, why waste 30 minutes waiting in class?"

"But I don't want to miss the bus."

"Starting tomorrow I'll pick you up." I said

"You don't need-"

"Sshh!" I cut "I don't want to hear another word, I'm picking you up. If I don't find you at your house, I'm going to chase the bus down. Arasseo?"

"Arasseo."

a smile crept on my face "Good."

I then realize the class is gettin crowded and people are staring at us, whispering to each other.

"Should we give them a show?" I mischieviously smile.

she look at me innocently "What show?"

I take her hands and wrap it with mine. I can already hear girls aggravated shriek and louder noises behind.

"Wh-what are you doing?" she stuttered, her face flushed red.

"Making them believe that you're my girlfriend." I smile.

Her eyes slowly turn back to me, her lips slightly open "Jae-"

Somebody slap my hands off her, breaking the moment "Hands off." Amber scowl.

"Aiisshh..why do you do that?" I rake my hair.

JaeIn immediately look away and turn to Amber "Amber, morning." she greet

"Morning. Move aside, I'm taking your seat" she order

"Why?"

"I don't want you to get too close to this man." she glare at me.

my eyes widen "Why?!"

she wave her hand, signalling her to move and as she did Amber take her seat, beside me.

 

  I shuffle my foot while repeatedly looking at my watch, waiting for the exact time when the bell will-   *RRRIIIIINNNNNGGG*   I jump out from my seat and grab JaeIn before her annoying friend take her away from me.   "Let's go."    "Whe-" I bring her with me.   We walk out from the class together, I can see all the eyes focus on us. JaeIn hold my arm, halting to a stop.   I turn to look at her "What is it?"   "We need to wait for Amber." she turn back to see Amber in sight.   "Why?" I whine   "We always spend lunch together." she plainly stated.   "But-"   Amber appear right before I finish my sentence, throwing me a glare as I did the same. I swear, I'll soon find a way to get this guy-looking girl away.   "Let's go." JaeIn break our staring competition,   She took my arm and Amber's, but let go mine when she realize it. "L-let's go." she repeat.         JaeIn P.O.V   This is the most nerve-wrecking lunch I had ever taken in my whole life.
