TW: Death

 She struggled as police officers were holding her back from entering your bedroom. She was shaking as all she could do is search for any sign that shows that you're okay.

" M'am, please calm down first. " The officer says. 

" Please, I need to get to her. Please. " She begs. 

" M'am. " The officer says. 

" Please tell me that she's okay. I can't lose her. I need her. "  She sobs. 

" We'll give you a call to update you about what's going on. Go home and get some rest first, please. " The officer states. 

She nods. She was going to leave, but she turns around one final time. She drops to her knees. The medical staff was rushing you into the ambulance.  She screams as the police officers rushed to help her. But she doesn't remember much because everything fades to black. 

She bolts up from the ambulance bed, looking around. Jennie and Lisa were in the room with her while Jisoo was talking to your doctor about your condition. 

" Where is she? Is she alright? " Roseanne asks as she was about to stand up, but Lisa stops her. 

"Chaeyoung ah. " Lisa says softly. 

" What happened? " She asks

Lisa doesn't say anything. Roseanne looks at Jennie and sees her shaking her head. 

" No, no, no. This can't be happening. This isn't real. " Roseanne mutters as she feels tears forming.

" They tried their best to bring her back, but it couldn't be helped. They said there was too much blood, and there were too many daffodil petals choking her. " Jennie states as her voice cracked, trying not to break into another sob again. 

" No! This has to be a dream. This can't be real. " Roseanne shouts as she covers her ears and shakes her head.

  She should have known by the way you responded during the last conversation. The way how you answered and looked, it gave so many hints, but she still couldn't help you. 

You chuckle, and you shake your head. 

" I don't think I'm ever going to find someone who truly loves me, Chaeyoung ah. Who would? " 

You felt so unloved, and you always thought that you don't deserve to be loved. But how was she supposed to continue living and breathing as everything would soon be okay? She's going to remember that you died in pain, and no one was able to help you. She's going to have to live the rest of her life knowing that she wasn't able to help you. So she's not going to be able to handle that kind of pain one bit. 

" I can't lose you. Please, I really can't lose you. " She sobs. 

 The funeral was gloomy, that should be the typical emotion but to have to hold a funeral for you. It hurt everyone more. You were merely in your early twenties, always striving to accomplish what you wanted to do. People would have thought you would never be able to die because of your attitude towards your work. You were the I'll sleep when I die kind of worker. You always put everything into whatever you were doing, and people always admired that. However, who knew that you were going to die in these conditions? 

" She has hanahaki disease. " The doctor says to the room where your friends and family are. 

" What does that mean? " Your mother asks

" This disease only happens to people who aren't confident that they are loved. They could be going through a one-sided love right now or feeling loveless. With this disease, they will cough up flower petals. " The doctor explains

" Are there any treatments? " Jennie asks

" We can perform surgery, but that means they'll forget those feelings for that person ever existed. " The doctor replies

" Is there anything else? "  Lisa, questions. 

" If the person she loves also loves her, then it can completely stop. " 

" What risks are there? " 

" She can die. "

Your close loved ones can only think and wonder who is this person? Why does that person not love you? Why were you so persistent in protecting this person's identity? Does that person even know about this? Did you ever tell them?

    The funeral was six weeks ago, but she still hasn't progressed from moving on. She doesn't know how to move on. You were someone that was like a boulder in her life. No matter what situation you were going through, you were always there for her. She could always count on you. Beyond that aloof image, you were so kind to her. You took care of her, and you always encouraged her. She believed that anything could happen, and she would make it out alright as long as you were there next to her. Your protective nature made her heart flutter. Angrily, you would glare at anyone who looked at her in a way they shouldn't. She had to hold you back once from fighting three men who were making disgusting comments about her. She cried and begged you not to fight them, and in the end, you followed her pleads. Eventually, after spending so much time together, she realized one day without you made her more miserable than she should have been. Then she discovers she doesn't enjoy it when you tease Jennie to the point where she blushes. Later, she learns how happy she is when it's just the two of you spending time together. After all those occurring events, she realized that she's fallen in love with you. But it was too late when she thought of confessing that was when you collapsed. When you collapsed, it felt like her whole world also did. She never found out who was the person you were so adamant about protecting. She was nervous because if you weren't willing to tell her, then does that mean that there's a significant possibility that it couldn't be her? But even if she wanted
