Chaeyoung looked out the window as the sun was slowly setting. She stood up from the couch, grab one of Jeongyeon’s guitar and walked towards the backyard. The backyard was really spacious as there was a grill, campfire with some chairs to sit on, a swinging bench, a picnic table and gate doors to leads to the beach. Chaeyoung sat on the swinging bench as everyone else was still inside unpacking. She then begins to strum the guitar.

The four girls, Mina, Nayeon, Sana and Momo was unpacking into their guest room, Mina heard a guitar being played. She could hear it out the window as she got up from the bed and looked out the window. She saw Chaeyoung sitting outside while playing the guitar. Mina walks out the room and into the living room as she looked out the window again, but a bit closer to Chaeyoung and enough for her to hear Chaeyoung’s voice.

Mina smiled as this is the first time hearing Chaeyoung singing. Mina close her eyes as she silently listens to Chaeyoung's singing voice. Chaeyoung looks up from the guitar and continues to strum and sing as she saw a figure by the window from the corner of her eye. She turned her head as she saw Mina. She smiled as she saw Mina smile as well 

 

She’s here. Chaeyoung thought as she continued to sing and strum the guitars 

 

After we spend a day together

After a day passes, I hope we can stay together longer

“Who’s singing? A voice can be heard in the living room as footsteps were getting louder.

 

Mina turned as she saw Nayeon, Sana and Momo coming as Chaeyoung stopped and looked at the window, seeing Mina looking away from her.

 

“Do you know where the singing is coming from Mina?” Nayeon asked as Mina shook her rapidly while Sana ran towards Mina to back hug her.

“If she doesn’t know, then don’t force her to tell us.” Sana said as Nayeon shrugs 

“Okay. I won’t. Let’s get something to eat. It’s been too long of a ride to not eat.” Nayeon said as both her and Momo walk towards the kitchen as Sana tilts her head to look Mina.

“Let’s go eat too, Mina.” Sana said as Mina starts to walk while Sana saw a figure sitting outside in the backyard from the corner of her eye as she turns her head to look as she smiles and follows Mina to the kitchen.

 

The 4 of them were in the kitchen as Nayeon looks in the fridge and saw not that much food in it. She check the cabinets as they weren’t much either.

 

“Jeongyeon!” Nayeon shouted as they could hear running footsteps and a figure coming in the kitchen, out of breath while huffing and puffing.

 

“Ha..ha.. y-yea?” Jeongyeon asked while catching her breath.

"There's no food here. How do you expect to eat here?" Nayeon asked as Jeongyeon looked in the fridge and the cabinets as Nayeon was right.

 

Jeongyeon looked at the time as it was around 6 and the sun was still setting.. the sky turning more orange red. 

 

"Well, it's getting dark soon, the closest convenience store is 2 hours away. It'll be a bit token late to drive there and back. We'll have to eat whatever we have here.. I know we have some noodle bags here, enough for us to eat. Make some food for you guys to eat. Pots are in the big cabinets under the sink. Bowls, and plates are on the top. Cups here in the corner, and the rest you see is there. Use whatever is left in the fridge and tomorrow, we"ll go to the store to buy some foods." Jeongyeon said as Nayeon nods 

 

Well.. let's just say.. they begin to cook and after half an hour, they eat. Then other joins to eat.

Chaeyoung sat outside again as her crew joined her. Jeongyeon started up the campfire as chaeyoung started strumming the guitar.

Nayeon heard the music playing as she got up from her bed and looked outside the window and saw them sitting outside around the campfire while Chaeyoung was playing the guitar. Nayeon looked at Mina, Sana and Momo as they suddenly looked at her.

 

"What's up?" Sana asked.

"Let's go into the backyard?" Nayeon said as they got up and walked to the backyard door.

 

The door suddenly opened as it scared the 4 of them. The person looked at them as it was Chaeyoung. She noticed them and moved to the side.

 

"Gonna sit outside with us?" She asked as Nayeon and Sana nods.

"Go ahead and take a seat. There's plenty of seats to sit." Chaeyoung said as she let's them walked out the doors and towards the campfire as she went inside.

"Hey. Come sit down." Jeongyeon said as she scooted over, letting room for them to sit.

"So what are you guys doing back here?" Sana asked.

"We just sit out here, put the fire on and sit around while Chaeyoung plays the guitar." Jeongyeon said

"Have she played the guitar before?" Nayeon asked

"When she was little, she went to guitar lessons, but then she stopped playing because of her parents." Jeongyeon said 

"What happened to her parents?" Momo asked as everyone went silent.

"Her parents were great people. From what I heard, her parents and her got run over by a delivery truck. It was unexpected. The driver was half asleep and couldn't drive correctly. Both her parents died and she was the only lucky survivor to be save in that situation. Those years became hard on her. She moved to her grandparents house to live and continue school. She was the quiet, nontalkative person at school. We three eventually became high school friends with her and went to the same college together. We would always hear her play the guitar here. This is the only place she would play it and nowhere else because she can let out her feelings through the guitar so her parents will be able to hear it from up there in heaven."

"That's horrible to hear. Poor Chaeyoung." Sana said sadly.

"Dang." Momo was speechless.

"That's probably one thing why Chaeyoung doesn't talk that much." Nayeon said

"We talk really don't talk about to others when Chaeyoung is around. She just goes dead silent for a couple of days." Jeongyeon said as Jihyo and Tzuyu nods

 

Chaeyoung… 

 

Footsteps can be heard as everyone looked as it was Chaeyoung coming back. She sat back down as everyone was quiet. 

 

“Sorry for the wait guys.” Chaeyoung said as she grabbed the guitar from the side of her chair 

“It’s all good bro. They would like to hear you play.” Jeongyeon said as she nods

“Not a problem.” Chaeyoung said as she started to play a song.

Everyone moving slowly side to side as it was a quiet night. Mina watches Chaeyoung closely as Chaeyoung's eyes were closed while playing the guitar. The song became the end as everyone applauded. Chaeyoung set the guitar down as Jeongyeon stood up and stretched while yawning.

 

"Time to head to bed." She said as everyone stood up and started to walk to the cabin as Chaeyoung was the only one sitting as Jeongyeon had her hand on her shoulder.

"I know it hurts. I'm sorry bro." Jeongyeon said as Chaeyoung nods and looked down at the ground.

"Get some rest." Jeongyeon said as she slides her hand off of Chaeyoung's shoulder and walk towards the cabin. 

 

Chaeyoung looked up and closed her eyes, letting her tears roll down both sides of her cheeks. She let out a shaky exhale as she grabs the guitar and starts playing it one last time.

Chaeyoung slowly ended the song as closed her eyes and let the last tears roll down on her cheeks.

 

Good night, Mom. Dad Chaeyoung said as she looks up into the starry night.

Morning rise and sun shining through the windows as Mina twist and turn as the sun easy hitting on her face. She sat up and stretched as she looked around the bedroom and saw Nayeon, Sana and Momo still sleeping. She slowly got off the bed and walked out the room slowly. She closed the door quietly as the others were still sleeping. As she was in the hallway, Mina heard voices around in the living room. She walked towards the living room as she peeked her head and saw, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung talking about something.

 

"What are we gonna do today?" Jeongyeon asked as Chaeyoung shrug.

"Whatever we can do here. Swimming, walking on the beach, bbq, fishing, s'mores, or hiking. That was all I can think of." Chaeyoung said as Jeongyeon lrt a frustrated sigh.

"You told us to come here for vacation. How do you not have anything planned out?" Chaeyoung stood up and pointed at her.

"Shhhh.. everyone is still sleeping." Jeongyeon said as Chaeyoung sat down.

"Good morning to whoever's it is over by the hallways." Chaeyoung suddenly said softly making Mina surprised at her feet as walked out to show herself and now at them.

"Good morning." Mina said quietly.

"ho-how…  how the hell??" Jeongyeon looked at Chaeyoung then to Mina. Back and forward until she was totally confused.

"I'm getting some fresh air. Better start making breakfast." Chaeyoung said as Jeongyeon nods.

 

Still avoiding me. Mina thought as Jeongyeon came up to her.

 

"Don't mind Chaeyoung, let's get breakfast ready." Jeongyeon said as Mina nods as they walk towards the kitchen.

Breakfast was finished being made as everyone else woke up from the smell of it coming from the kitchen to their rooms. They all sat down on the dining room as one person was missing. Chaeyoung. Mina walks out of the kitchen quietly as everyone was getting their breakfast as she walks towards the backyard doors. She looked through the clear glass door as Chaeyoung was nowhere to be seen. Mina walked out and looked around the backyard. She gave a small panic as Mina saw a gate open. She walked towards the gate as it was a path to somewhere else that Mina don't know where it will lead to in the forest. She looked at Jeongyeon’s cabin and back at the path. She then walks on the path. Mina continues on the path as she hears a faint voice talking. She walks towards the voice as she saw someone squatting down as the person was doing something.

 

“Chaeyoung?” Mina said as she leaned to the side, trying to look at the persons face.

 

The person turned and gave a small smile at Mina.

 

“Hey. Whats up?” Chaeyoung said

“It's time to go eat breakfast.” Mina said quietly as Chaeyoung stood up

“Okay.” She said as they walked back to the cabin as Chaeyoung laughs.

“Hey.. Quit it. Hahaha.” Chaeyoung said squatting down as Mina looked at her and then to the object that was making her laugh.

“What… What is it?” Mina asked

“Hm? It's a little puppy. Looks like it got lost.” Chaeyoung said petting it

“Be.. Be careful..” Mina stutter as Chaeyoung smiles.

“Of course.” Chaeyoung said as she looks back at the puppy.

“Who’s a good dog? Yes, you are. Yes, you are.”

 

She’s finally smiling.

 

Mina Squat next to Chaeyoung as she watches them playing. Chaeyoung noticed her as she guided the puppy to Mina as it starts jumping on Mina’s knee. Mina pet the puppy and smiles. Chaeyoung saw the smile Mina gave to the puppy. Mina felt someone was looking at her as she looked up and saw Chaeyoung looking at her. Mina shook her head and broke the contact as it made her heartbeat too fast. Her foot slip on the ground as she was falling backwards making Mina squeal. Chaeyoung noticed it as she reaches her hands towards Mina, but they both were falling as Chaeyoung was quick enough to catch Mina in her arms. Chaeyoung let herself impact her back on the ground as Mina was on top. Chaeyoung groan as a bit of a pain was hurting her. Mina noticed that Chaeyoung has saved her and injury herself instead of Mina. 

 

“Are you ok?” Mina asked as Chaeyoung was wincing in a bit of pain.

“I’m… Okay. Are you?” Chaeyoung asked as Mina nods

“That's good.” Chaeyoung said as she let out a groan of relief and lie back on the ground

 

The puppy came running at them as it was trying to play around with them. They both looked at the puppy as they both laugh. Mina noticed the position that they were in. Mina sat up as she gave help to the pain Chaeyoung. They were both sitting on the ground as the puppy was playing around by itself. 

Both looked away as it was a weird and awkward position that they were in a couple minutes ago. Chaeyoung clear out as she stood up and reach out her hand to Mina. Mina looked at her silently and reached out her hand to stand up by Chaeyoung's hand. 

 

"Let's head back." Chaeyoung said as Mina nodded and started to walk back. Chaeyoung lift up the puppy and bring it along with them.

 

They both enter the gate to Jeongyeon's backyard as Jeongyeon came out of the backyard door and said

 

"Where did you go? I thought Mina was going to get you to eat breakfast."

"I got sidetracked." Chaeyoung said showing the little puppy that was in her hands.

"Aww. That's cute. But that's not the point. You shouldn't shouldn't bring dogs in the cabin.. it might have ticks or fleas." Jeongyeon said

"Yea.. no lease on the puppy so it's a stray pup. I'm gonna keep em." Chaeyoung said as she walks inside the cabin.

"Chaeyoung! Not in the house!" Jeongyeon said as she chase after her.

 

Mina watches them as she giggles to herself.

After breakfast was over, they head outside to the backyard, playing with the small puppy. Everyone was playing expect Mina. Mina sat on the side, watching them as they were playing catch with the puppy. Nayeon got up and walked towards Mina and sat next to her.

 

"Why don't you join us?" Nayeon asked as Mina shook her head.

"Maybe later." Mina said as Nayeon nods.

"Okay." She said as they both say in silence and watch everyone else playing.

 

It was 1:11pm. Jeongyeon stood up and walked into the cabin as Jihyo and Tzuyu went in as well. They brought the food outside as they ate on the picnic table. Chaeyoung was sitting on the ground grass, eating while feeding the small puppy. Mina saw how cheerful Chaeyoung is feeding and playing with the puppy. She wishes that she can be a puppy so Chaeyoung can notice her. The puppy then ran in between Mina's feet as it surprised Mina. 

 

"Hi, puppy." Mina said.

"Looks like it's friendly to you Mina." Nayeon said as Mina looks at Chaeyoung who gave a small smile at her.

 

Mina reaches down and pet the puppy's head as it ran towards Chaeyoung. Squatting down to pounce at Chaeyoung.

 

Chaeyoung is cute when playing with the puppy.

Everyone left to go to the convenience store to be food supplies for Jeongyeon's cabin. They grab food, drinks, snacks, and home supplies to restock the cabin. They got out and packed the shopping bags in the car trunk. They got in the car as Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon was in the back putting the rest of the bags in as she gave a gesture to Jeongyeon to start the car. Mina was holding the puppy as it was sleeping. Chaeyoung closed the trunk as she walks to the side doors as suddenly a loud horn can be heard from the distant as Chaeyoung’s head was hurting. She holds one of her hand to support herself on the car as she looked like she was gonna faint. Jeongyeon realized the reason as she got out the car and ran towards Chaeyoung.

 

“Chaeyoung. Are you okay?” Jeongyeon said as she gave a small nudge to Chaeyoung

 

Chaeyoung looked up at Jeongyeon with squinting eyes and couldn’t hear anything as she slowly fall onto Jeongyeon’s arms.

 

“. Jihyo help me get her in the car.” Jeongyeon said as Jihyo opened the back door and put the fainted Chaeyoung between Mina and Jihyo as Jeongyeon runs to the driver's seat and drove to her cabin as fast as she can. Jeongyeon then took her phone out of her pocket and speed dial someone on the phone.

 

“Hello? Dr. Kim? Can you come to my dad’a cabin. My friend fainted. Can you check on her? Yea? Ok, I’ll see you there.” Jeongyeon hung your the phone and focus on driving.

“Is Chaeyoung gonna be ok?” Nayeon asked as Jeongyeon quickly looked at her and back on the road

“Let’s hope so.” Jeongyeon said

 

Mina who was worried saw sweat coming down on Chaeyoung’s forehead as she grabbed a napkin and wipes the sweat.

Hello. um.. so i know i dont really have much excuses for being late... again    but throughout those non-update chapters, ive been thinking about how i wanted this story to come out. I know I said that this story will be great and everything, but theres some plots i wanted on this chapter and have a cliff hanger at the end.. so sometimes when im at a certain point in the story.. i just dont want to stop typing and keep going with the story into long chapters instead of short ones. So yea. I know i said I was gonna make like 3 updates in one day, but since i got behind in the long chapters, I wasnt able to make the third chapter for you guys and so I got one done ;-; And then other weeks will be 1.. hopfully. Hoping I can stay on the right schedule as I hope for this story to became good to Michaeng readers. Also if you guys dont know Chaeyoung will not be particpating in the Hokkaido concert due to poor health conditions.. Hope she gets better and Mina too.. Im sad not seeing ot9 like SNSD    please JYP! LET THEM TAKE BREAKS! They do singing, dancing and practicing everyday! its sad to see them getting sick and having these health conditions. I know its this time of the year of getting colds and flus, but at least give them some resting time and not doing so much scheduling stuff. ;-; ima cry in my corner.. Ill see you guys later
