“Mama! Mommy! Look at this. It’s so biggg!!” The toddler screamed while jumping up and down. The ear headband on her small head almost fell off.

“Mama! Mommy! Haneul want to ride this!!”

“And this!”

“This too!!”

The little one dashed here and there excitedly.

“Slow down Haneul-ah! We have all day baby.” Byulyi chuckled at her overhyped daughter.

“You know what.” Yongsun said with a serious expression. “The moment I unfastened the stroller’s seat bell, it felt like I had just released a monster.” The older woman looked at the stroller with a suspicious look, maybe they would not have a chance to use it again today.

Byulyi laughed, knowing exactly what her wife meant. But she also understood her little daughter’s feelings. Being in a place where everything was a bright happy color and up beating music with the smell of hotdogs and popcorn filled in the air, no one could help it.

To a child, a theme park was the happiest place on Earth.

“Are you ready, Yong?” Byulyi looked at her wife with a smile. “It’s gonna be a long day.”

Yongsun fixed the ear headband on her head solemnly as if she was preparing her weapons for a war.

“I’m ready!”

Time passed so quickly at the theme park. The family was carried away by all the fun there that they only realized it was already lunchtime when their stomach started growling.

“Mama, look! It’s the Aliens!!” The toddler yelled excitedly. “And these! These are Chip and Dale!!!” Haneul’s round eyes sparkled as more and more of her favorite characters appeared on their table.  

“Thank you.” Yongsun said to the waiter with her awkward English once all the dishes were served.

“Haneul-ah, do you like them?” Byulyi asked while wiping her daughter’s hands with a wet tissue.

“Haneul love them a lot!!” The little one exclaimed, her eyes had not taken off those character-shaped dimsums for once. “They are so cuteeee~”

The couple shared a smile. They had used to react like their little daughter the first time they were there.

“NOOOO” A sudden scream from a nearby table caught their attention. “You cannot eat them! I won’t eat them!!!”

What they saw was a Korean kid around Haneul’s age shielding the dimsums stubbornly, not allowing other people to take them. “Don’t touch them!!!!”

The parents looked troubled, not knowing how to deal with their kid.

Byulyi and Yongsun looked at each other with concerned eyes. They did not expect this. What if their daughter also-

“Hmm, yummy”

The couple looked down to find the head of an Olaf dimsum was already bitten off. The toddler soon shoved the rest of the dimsum into her small mouth, munching with her shoulders dancing happily.

Byulyi chucked, they had worried for nothing.

“Haneul-ah,” Yongsun was amazed when she saw the little one reach out for an Alien dimsum and ate it peacefully while the kid at the nearby table was still fussy. “Don’t you find it pity to eat them?”

The toddler shook her head and took another bite. “Jinnie-auntie says eating the food deliciously is how to show your love with it.”  

“Finally she taught her something good.” Yongsun sighed in relief and her wife laughed out loud.

“Let’s dig in.”  

Yongsun hummed, eyes opened widely at the first bite. It was exactly the same as what in her memory. She did not feel so hungry before eating, but now the taste awakened her appetite and her chopsticks became busier.

When the amount of food on their table decreased not even a half, Byulyi suddenly put down her chopsticks.

“What’s wrong?” Yongsun asked out of concern while refilling a bowl of soup for her mini-me. Her wife just ate a little, even less than Haneul. “Does the food taste bad?”

Byulyi shook her head. “They taste good, but a bit greasy to me.”

“I wish we have some kimchi here.”

“You really cannot live without kimchi huh?” Yongsun chuckled at her indeed-Korean wife.

“I cannot live without you too.”

“Owooooo,” Yongsun howled like a wolf. After all those years, she could not still stand the younger woman’s level of greasiness. “Why can’t you eat greasy food when you’re thousands, no, millions times greasier??”

Byulyi laughed happily. The older woman’s reaction was the reason for her to upgrade her greasiness day by day.

“Luckily I’ve prepared.”

“Really?” Byulyi asked, looking at her wife with expectant eyes. Her face lightened up when she receiving a nod from the older woman.

“You know what to do next right?”

Byulyi immediately closed her eyes and clasped her hands. “Please give me some kimchi.” She prayed sincerely.

However, nothing happened when she opened her eyes.

“You fooled me.” She hit on her wife’s arm and pouted sulkily.

“Oh I forgot to tell you the spell has changed.” The older woman giggled playfully. “You must say ‘Kim Yongsun Goddess, please give me some kimchi’ and kiss on her lips.”

Byulyi rolled her eyes at how childish the spell was, but she still did as been told. When a loud peck was pressed on Yongsun’s lips, something was taken out from the older woman’s back.

“Canned kimchi,” Byulyi yelled happily. “I love it the most.” The younger woman opened the can impatiently, a long hum escaped her lips as she took a bite of the kimchi.

Yongsun chuckled at the pure happiness written on her wife’s face. She then resumed eating once she saw the younger woman start picking up more
