"What I feel for you"
Description
"One cold autumn afternoon, when he was fifteen years old, he fell in love with him: the kindest, most sincere and beautiful man his eyes had ever seen".
Foreword
"Woo Hyun, can you read us the next paragraph? Please."
"Yes, Professor Kim."
Kim Sung Kyu, the History teacher, is his ideal type. Upon meeting him, Woo Hyun discovered the closest thing to perfection; and it was like a dream come true that they were both living in the same building.
"... nevertheless, the country was able to recover and continue its economic growth."
"Thank you, Woo Hyun." Nam nods and Sung Kyu's eyes fall on his for a moment.
And the boy's heart reacts as it does whenever the teacher looks at him. Woo Hyun can't believe how fast his organ is able to pump blood throughout his body, and the delicate butterflies in his stomach suddenly transform into a bunch of wasps that attack him from within.
Sung Kyu adjusts his glasses before looking down, and the boy can't help but let out a silent sigh, although he's not discreet enough that his best friend SungYeol won't hear him. Lee looks at him out of the corner of his eye and smiles at the same time he puts his hand on Nam's arm. Woo Hyun frowns and lifts the book to cover his face.
"You are not discreet at all, Namu."
"Shut up!" He whispers, and then turns his face to resume reading.
Sometimes Sung Yeol is very annoying, but the tall boy is trustworthy and they've known each other since high school, so sometimes he does nothing more than act like an annoying older brother.
Woo Hyun looks at his watch and a couple of minutes later the doorbell rings. That is the last class of that day; his favorite class, and the one that in his opinion lasts less than all the others.
"I want a World War II essay for the following Monday." Says the teacher and the students nod. Sung Kyu removes his glasses to fit them in their case and keep them in his briefcase.
And then Nam begins to gaze at his teacher in fascination. She loves to scrutinize him from head to toe. Each move of Sung Kyu is unique to Woo Hyun.
"Sung Jong and I are going to the library." His friend says suddenly before taking his books and getting up from his seat. "Are you coming?"
Woo Hyun doesn't say anything, he even ignores the boy and rushes to collect his things when he notices that the teacher is heading to the exit, so Sung Yeol takes that as a 'no'. Something common in Nam when it comes to Sung Kyu.
Nam leaves the classroom after his teacher and follows him closely (although not so much that the man notices his presence). He watches him say goodbye to other teachers with a beautiful smile while offering them a pronounced bow, then sees him walk to the front door of the building, heading to the parking lot where a car is already waiting for him: a beautiful red vehicle that every day goes to pick it up, and Woo Hyun can't help but clench his hands and feel his heart squeezes with the scene he has to witness on a daily basis.
Why does his wonderful fairy tale always end with that disastrous ending?: His professor's handsome boyfriend receiving him with a bright smile, taking him by the waist, and taking his delicate lips to plant a long and passionate kiss.
Grimacing in rage, Woo Hyun twists his mouth as his pulse rages with anger, thinking again that his life would be the happiest if Sung Kyu reciprocated his sincere feelings. If only that obstacle called Kim Myung Soo did not come between his teacher and him, the two of them could be the protagonists of the most beautiful love story.
