-The next morning-

The sun rose and light came through the curtains , shining over Krystal and Jessica.
Krystal, woke up first by the light as she was facing the window.

----Krystal's POV----

I felt a really bad headache the moment I open my eyes.
As I struggled to get up, I felt a damp towel fall from my forehead to my lap.
As I turned my head, I saw unnie beside me. I just smiled at the way she slept.
I shook myself awake and went to get a drink outside.

As I approached the kitchen, I spotted Joon, sitting by the couch.
He was all curled up. It must have been cold last night.
I went ahead to wake him up in case he catches a cold.
As I walk towards him, I thought of last night...

*Flashback*

There we sat by the lamp post.
I was leaning on his chest the whole time quietly.
He may not have noticed, but his heart was racing and pounding wildly.
He must have been really shy...
I didn't want to tell him that I really am awake.

I took a few secretive glances at him when he stared into blank space.

He had a really charismatic gaze.
Ironically, his facial expression was all innocent and pure.
I was leaning on him and yet his arms were not on my body at all.
They stretched far out in restrain.

I wanted to lay there for the whole night.
But I couldn't be selfish.
Little did I know, that the fear that the drunkard inflicted on me has made me ill.

*Flashed back*

Now there he was, sleeping soundly by the edge of the couch.
Head leaning on the edge just like how I leaned on him.
I began to approach him but I accidentally kicked the table and shrieked. It woke him up at the same time.

----K.Joon's POV----

I opened my eyes when I heard a loud piercing scream. "What happened?!"

"Sorry..." Krystal apologised softly as she blushed and her feet in agony.

"It's okay." I said, puzzled and worried about the tears that dwelled in her eyes.

For a few minutes, we sat on the couch. Not looking at each other.
Just when I was about to speak, the both of us spoke up.

I laughed "You first."

"No, You go first." She smiled.

"How are you feeling?"

"I guess I'm fine."

"That's good. You had a really high fever.." I said as I looked at my shadow casted on the wooden floor.

"I had you worried?" She asked softly.

"Yeah..." I admitted.

Just then, we heard the door open.
"You're both awake!" Jessica exclaimed rushing to Krystal, giving her a hug.

"Unnie, of cause we are. You just woke up!" Krystal teased.

"Urgh, You need a bath, you smell really sweaty."

"Unnie!!" Krystal whined and blushed.

"Go take a bath. NOW" Jessica displayed her prowess like a queen.

"Okay unnie.." She said and looked at me before she went off to shower.

"Hey Joon." Sica called, looking at me.

"Y-Yeah?" I replied stuttering.

"Cmon, let's have a cup of tea."

I nodded and followed her to the kitchen to make tea.
 

After which, we sat back on the couch and talked.
Jessica expressed her gratitude and kept thanking me.
She told me how guilty she felt for being away from her, unable to keep her safe.
Even though I tried to tell her she is a very good sister, She still tried to convince me.

After awhile, Krystal came out and joined us in the living room.
She put on a set of comfortable wear consisting on a tank top and shorts.
I found it hard to look away from her as the scent of her hair filled the living room.

"You know, I really need to get home. My aunt is worried." I finally said after I recieved a text from Aunty Kim

"Alrights, thank you for your help Joon."

"Don't mention it" I smiled and Jessica gave me a kind hug.

"Krystal-ah, walk him to the door."

"Nono it's okay Miss Jessica."

"I insist." I had to accept.

We stood face to face at the doorway.
I smiled and waved goodbye, she hesitated before doing the same.
As I turned around to leave, Krystal grabbed my arm and pulled.

"What is it?" I asked.

She handed me something that she told me to only open from my palm till I leave.
I obeyed.

At the ground floor, I looked at what she gave me..
It was her contact number.
