Sejin woke up and glanced at the window. It was around eleven in the evening, and she was peacefully sleeping when she heard a loud screeching outside her window.

She bit her lip as she slowly sat up, then she heard a loud rumbling outside. She froze and immediately hopped off her bed.

Lay looked up from his desk as he heard the door to his room open, Sejin peeked and began looking for him.

“Thunderstorm?” He asked, Sejin turned and blinked at him.

“That…and something’s…out there.” She shook her head, Lay smiled and set down the file he was reading.

“Out there?”

Sejin made a face and walked to him.

“You should be sleeping.”

“Did the thunder scare you?” Lay cooed, Sejin sighed. Then he grinned as stood up and plopped on the bed.

“What do you mean by something’s out there baobei?”

“I don’t know, just this weird sound from the window.” She shuddered.

“Then can you check it out?” She pouted, Lay just smiled at her.

“Just sleep here, I’m too tired to walk to your room.”

Sejin nodded and plopped beside him, then she place the blanket around her.

“Rest well.” Lay said as he moved and wrapped his arms around her.

“Yixing?”

“Hm?”

“We should talk about the baobei thing.”

Lay chuckled and just pressed his lips on her forehead.

“Good night, Xingnicorn.”

“Finally.” Luhan grinned as the couple joined them on the table. Lay grinned and sat down.

“Ge.” Sejin whined, Luhan just chuckled.

“Auntie and Uncle are both so happy to finally see you,” Luhan poked her nose.

“settle down and join me at the company.”

“You resigned?” Lay blinked at her.

“A few days ago.” She nodded. Lay smiled.

“You didn’t tell him?”

“I….Uhm, I forgot, ge.” She bit her lip.

“It’s understandable, mei. You’ve been in cloud nine lately.”

Sejin was about to reply when she saw a familiar man walk in.

“Ya, Kim Jongin!”
