Chapter 2

          2^nd Meeting

Hyun joon and Young Saeng's Pov

           I lay down on my bed “Where is that phone? I am pretty sure I placed it in my pocket” I said while trying to find it inside

“Ah here it is” putting it out

 “Kim Hey Min, let’s see, phonebook” scrolling it down

“Home, should I call? I should” then I clicked the call button (ring, ring, ring)

“youngseyo?”

“Can I speak to Kim Hye Min?”

“This is her; may I know whose speaking?”

“uhmm. I found your phone, how do you want me to return it? Should I go to your house or we meet somewhere?”

“Meeting will be good” she answered immediately like she is hiding something in her house

“Then tomorrow at Han park 2 pm”

“Okay”

MORNING

“Yah, young saeng, where are you going this early?” hyun joong asked

“Early? It’s already 1:30!” I answered back sighting, this guy never learns that he wakes up late; oh if I don’t hurry I will also be late. I ran toward the elevator to the basement.

“Where is my car? Oh there” I said when I found it parked near our van.

PARK

“1:55, I reached it in time, she’s still not here?”

“uhmm? Are you the one who found my phone?” a girl suddenly approached me. She was wearing a jacket covering her whole upper body even the hair with a baggy jogging pants.

" Ah,  Kim hye min ssi! Are you alright?” I asked

She looked down " Y- eess"

“Oh, right, here” I handed her the phone

“T---thank you” suddenly turn her back to leave

“Wait” took hold of her arms making her winse, and  that caught me of guard. I turned her to face me frightened at the  bare skin full of bruises,  she shoved her jacket to cover it but i stopped her hands from doing so. She locked her stares with mine.

“Your not alright at all!” I exclaimed making the fidgeting girl infront of me startled and shake a little  

“sorry, for shouting I scared you didnt I?” “ Then to compensate for shouting at you can I go grab you a drink? A coffee maybe?"

“Ah! No need, its fine.“

" Oh, but i insists, please kim hye min ssi?" She nods her head and glad she accepted my offer

“Thank you” giving her a warm smile. Leading her through my car opening the door for her.

Driving to the café the car was filled with awkward silence. I reached for the radio and asked her

 " hye min ssi, what music would you like to hear?"

"A-nn-ything"

I tuned in the radio for some kpop songs.

“Were about to reach the café” when I saw the sign.

“Here we are” parking it at the front, turning off the engine

 " well, were here so lets go?" I went out the car and she did the same. Taking steps until we reached the entrance of the cafe and motioned her to go in first and she did.

I found a seat near the window where you can see the front of the cafe.

“If you dont mind kim hye min ssi, Can I ask you something? Why do you have such bruises on you?” I asked

She looked at me quite startled by my question

“I fell from the stairs" knowing that she was lying since I remember what happened a few days ago; I want her to be more open to me but I let it go for now because I feel that she doesn’t want to talk about it.

“Kim hye min ss--” i got cut off

"Hye min, will be alright" she said looking down to her drink

“Okay, hye min; I am Heo young saeng, you can call me whatever you want” I followed

“if ever I have problems,I usually go to the park and just sit on the bench and look up to the sky as peacefullness takes over me”closing my eyes to remember the view of the night.

 I opened my eyes slowly and noticed that she is looking at me directly

“before i really wanted to kill myself with my friend cause we were having so much trouble and stress so we decided to end it and took a taxi told the driver to take to han river we were not familiar with the place but the driver maybe noticed that we're planning to kill ourselves and took us to han park.After that incident whenever I have problems I always go there to clear my mind” I chuckled to myself and she did the same but she was laughing. It made my hear feel at ease hearing her laugh. I have this need to protect that smile.
