"Sungjae!!! Yah!! Are you ok?" Minhyuk shouted. I slightly opened my eyes and saw a worried

Minhyuk in front of me. "I knew i shouldn't have mopped the floors before the party... im so

sorry Sungjae!" Hyunsik said. "Wait.. let me help you" Minhyuk said trying to carry me. 

"Im fine,i can walk by myself!" I said,trying to get myself off the floor. "Now,how are we

going to clean this?" Minhyuk asked. "Is that your problem,now? Our friend has been injured 

and you are worried about the mess?" Hyunsik said. I felt ashamed,being found like this...

Minhyuk helped me get in my bed,i was badly injured,scratches everywhere,from my face to

my toes... I was a bloody mess... 

"Sungjae,im so sorry... " Minhyuk said.  "It's not your fault!" I said. Rubbing my lips that

now were itching me. "Don't..." Minhyuk said pulling my hand off my mouth.

"I called a doctor,he'll be here in a few...-" Minhyuk said. "A doctor?!" I asked shockingly.

"You lost a lot of blood... " Minhyuk said. "You shouldn't have done that... geez... now what

am i going to do? " I said. 

Minhyuk and Hyunsik left the room. I was alone,thinking of what happened today...

I almost attacked the girl,i broke the mirror and fainted in the bathroom...

Although,my transformation hadn't been completed yet,i had to drink blood to become full... and

not my blood... 

The doctor came in the room. "Here's our patient" The doctor said. "We found him laying on

the floor in the bathroom and he had accidentaly broken the mirror and his body is full of

wounds right now..." Minhyuk said. "Ok,Ok,we'll check that right now..." The doctor said

coming closer to me. "Hmm..." The doctor said while listening my heartbeat with the stethoscope.

"...that's...very...strange..." The doctor mumbled. "Is my stethoscope broken all of a sudden?
I can't hear any heartbeat... ... why did i come with broken equipment... aish!.." The doctor

exclaimed. 

That means... that my heart has stopped completely from working... I hope the doctor doesn't

find that out... uh oh... 

"Minhyuk... boy... come here a bit..." The doctor called Minhyuk to come closer.

"Yes,sir?" Minhyuk asked. The doctor placed the stethoscope on Minhyuk's heart. 

"Your heartbeat can be heard... the problem is... Sungjae... It's like you don't even have a 

heart... that's very strange..." The doctor said. "Wait.. what do you mean by that Sungjae does

not have a heart... That's nonsense... People own heart... Without heart,we can't live... "

Minhyuk said. "Try and listen by yourself..." The doctor gave Minhyuk the stethoscope.

"I bet your joking--- ,.. " Minhyuk said . " ... indeed... that's strange... " Minhyuk mumbled.

"Oh.. look at the time,i have to leave now. I can't do anything boy,this is a very strange occasion

and i really have no time for it... Maybe,call me some other day?..." The doctor said packing

his things and then he left quickly the room.

"Sungjae... what's wrong?" Minhyuk asked me placing his hand on my shoulder.

My mouth was sealed. As if i would tell Minhyuk that i had become a vampire that drains blood

for people to live. 

"Im ok.See?" I said trying to convince Minhyuk that im ok. 

"No,... you're not... i don't know what's wrong with you..." Minhyuk said.

"Can you just leave?" I asked. I didn't want to be mean but all this pressure just made me become

meaner than usuall.

"You're mean... I was just trying to help!" Minhyuk said,leaving the room immedietelly"

Minhyuk's POV

There was something completely strange going on with Sungjae. His heartbeat wasn't

even heard on the stethoscope. Is this normal? It felt as Sungjae never had a heart...

All the curiosity was killing me. I went to the sofa,where i the laptop so i 

could find information. "...There must be something on the internet to explain this"

I mumbled. 

 If you can't hear the heartbeat.What might be wrong with the person? 

I asked this question on a question site. If someone could give me clear details.

All of a sudden,i see a notification. Someone replied to it.

The person has not heartbeat,right?... 

That's very rare. Believe me or not,you're in danger and everyone else who lives with

that person.That person is dangerous. This person has no heartbeat because of effects

that vampirism caused him to.How long have you been with that person? Have you

ever visitied someone that you think that might have done anything wrong to that 

person? If yes,then that person is probably at the 2nd stage of transforming into

a vampire. Did you notice strange behaviour lately? Long sleeps? or maybe 

loss of apetite for food? Those are the first symptoms that occur the first day after

the person has been marked on the neck. The victim's neck has 2 bite marks because

the one who bit him had sharp fangs. You will have to take precautions from now on

cause it's dangerous to have the person free in the home or be in the same room.

Sadly,there is no antidote for this. Your friend is dead already. If you don't want

to get bitten,you better take care... It's all up to you...

I couldn't believe in my eyes what i had just read. Ofcourse it must be bull but in

the other hand,the similarities of the ''symptoms'' that he mentioned are scaring me.

Could Sungjae... be.. a vampire?... 

When we had visited that old hotel... Could that guide... No way... there's no way ...

What if i had gone instead of Sungjae. I don't even want to imagine that. Th-that

beast... killed my best friend... What should i do..?

My head was hurting me from all the confusion right now.Should i get back at Sungjae

and explain him the situation.. or he already knows? 

I took the courage and got up from the sofa and walked the towards the bedroom where

Sungjae was. 

I slightly opened the door. "Can .. i come in?" I asked all nervous.

"Come." Sungjae said.

I quickly sat to the chair next to Sungjae. "Sungjae... i think... i know what's wrong with

you... i've looked up... in the internet..." I said quietly.

"So you know?... " Sungjae said,looking at his hands.

"I want to take revenge on that guy... ... why would he-" My eyes started to become watery

I couldn't stop thinking about that hideous guy that did this to my best friend.

"...I-it's ok..." Sungjae said patting in me on the back. "I am still here... see?" Sungjae

said trying to cheer me up. "But..." I said. "Even though i've become different,that 

doesn't mean that im not still the Sungjae you know..." Sungjae said.

"We're going to take revenge,aren't we?" I said. "Ofcourse,one day" Sungjae said smiling

at me. "What if it's too late? What if something happens to you...?" I said.

"Im gonna be fine..!" Sungjae said,smiling at me. "...S-Sungjae... you drank... someone's

blood?" i asked nervously. "No.Not yet..." Sungjae said,looking at the wall.

" Sungjae... if you're scared... i could..." I said. I had no problem with donating blood

to those who needed it. "Never. I would never even touch you. You're my best friend,

you know what happens if someone's drinks your blood? You become just like the

person who bit you... I would never.Not even in a million years..." Sungjae said.

"But..." I said. "No! Just no!" Sungjae said. Sungjae would never touch his friends.

"If i ever tried to bite you,i would probably kill you completely... that man,did me a favour,

to bite me and not to kill me... If i bit you right now... i would probably kill you..." Sungjae

said. "But,you will still have to kill people... ... " I said. "Yes... but i would never touch

my best friends,not even slightly..." Sungjae said. 

 "...At the party... what happened?" I asked. "...Remember Jiyeon?" Sungjae asked me.

"That tall girl,at our class...?" I asked. " I almost killed her in front of 100 people..."

Sungjae said. I could not believe what he was saying. "See.. we were dancing.. and...

something inside me... i wanted to bite her... I wanted to escape... I ran into the bathroom.."

Sungjae said touching his lip with his finger. I was speechless. 

Since today,i always thought that vampires were mythical creatures but no.They weren't.

There was one in front of me and that one... was my best friend...
