Day 2

Sungjae's POV

It all seemed like a normal day.The birds were chirping and the sky was blue...

But nothing was normal for me,i was suffering everyday.My thirst was growing 

bigger and bigger with the day... I remember when i read this

...You have to drink human blood before full moon or else you will fall into deep

sleep or in a few words,you'll just die...

I was doomed. Full moon was in a week from now and i had no intention to

kill someone...

"Good morning!" Minhyuk said walking into my room. He was still half asleep.

"Hey,morning!" I said. "Bored,huh?" Minhyuk asked. "So and so" I replied.

All of a sudden,i heard a knock on the door. Who could it be?

"Im opening..!" Minhyuk offered. "Wait,i'll go too" I said,i got up from bed and

followed Minhyuk...

We both opened the door. It was a man. Or maybe a teenager like us. He looked

foreign but asian to me. "What's your name? What happened?" Minhyuk asks.

"M-My name is ... Huang Zitao.." The boy said. "You're chinese?" I asked.

The boy nodded. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I have nowhere to go... My parents 

kicked me out of my house..." The boy said. 

I exchange looks with Minhyuk and then stared back at the boy. "Well... you can

stay with ... us for a while... " Minhyuk said. "Oh guys,thank you very much,i 

really appreciate ! You're the best !" The boy shook both our hands. Another

roommate. Well done,Minhyuk! I grabbed Minhyuk from his arm and dragged him 

towards the bathroom. "Yah! What happened?" Minhyuk asks me. "Why did you

invite a foreign person to live with us..?" I asked all angrily. "He had no home,Jae.

What if your parents kicked you off the house,how would you react? huh? "

Minhyuk asked me. I sighed,well,it wouldn't harm anyone.Moreover,he would

stay here for a few days and then live. 

We both went back to the living room. "Call me Tao" The boy spoke before i even

started talking. "O-Ok Tao. Do you speak Korean fluently?" I asked. "I grew here... but

i've been to China too...' The boy said. "Well,Tao.Do you know where your parents

live? Maybe we can do something..." I said. "I don't know,i came here after walking

for killiometres... it was a long trip..." Tao said. That boy was incredible,he came

all the way here,maybe the other people rejected him from staying... I feel sorry for 

him. Another exceptional thing about that kid was that he had very noticeable

black circles under his eyes.Maybe lack of sleep? ... "Well,Tao... you can sleep in

my bedroom... since,Sungjae... has some issues with people sleeping in the same

room as him..." Minhyuk offered. Tao looked at me,i nodded. "Ok,i fully understand.

Minhyuk was your name?" Tao asked. "Yes" Minhyuk nodded. "How old are you,by

the way?" I asked. "17" He replied. Just like us 2. Wonderfull. 

"Tao,are you hungry? We can prepare you food!" Minhyuk offered. "No,thanks.I ate

on my way here,im full" He said. "I can help you unpack" Minhyuk said going to

Tao and trying to help him with the suitcase. "Minhyuk,where Hyunsik went?"

I asked. "Oh,didn't he tell you? He went to his parents for a week now,he said there

was something emergency..." Minhyuk replied. "I see..." I replied. I was observing the

newcomer here. Minhyuk went to the kitchen to prepare something for himself to

eat. I was on the couch looking at the boy. All of a sudden, i saw the boy taking a

small bottle out of the suitcase.He opened it and drank it whole. What could it be?

Maybe some kind of medicine... Tao didn't notice i was still in the room. 

All of a sudden i make a sound so he could notice me. "Hey!" I say. The boy gets

startled. "Is that... medicine?" I say pointing the small bottle Tao had. "Oh,y-yes! 

You scared me..." Tao said. "Im not a criminal or a thief if that's what you think"

Tao said innocently. "I believe you" I said,looking calm. This boy looked as if he 

was trying to portray someone else,he was obviously hiding something... 

I came closer to him. "So... Are both of your parents chinese? " I asked. He nodded.

I observed his eyes for a better look. Eyes were the mirror of the soul.I tried to 

play the detective... He looked clean... I guess,i should let him alone...

"Ok,im.. going to my bedroom,make yourself comfortable here..."  I said,leaving

him.

Minhyuk's POV

"Hey... where's Sungjae?" I asked. "He said he went to his bedroom..." The boy said.

"Oh i see... it's fine,im cool with that..." I said. "May i ask you something... I forgot your

name... can you repeat it?" I asked. "Tao... My full name is Huang Zitao but call me Tao"

The boy said. "Nice name! From what part of China do you come from?" I asked. 

"Qingdao" Tao said. "Cool! Umm... did you do something so as your parents to kick you

out of the house ?" I asked. "Well... I can't tell you... It's kinda embarassing.." Tao said.

"It's fine,if you don't want to tell me,im cool with it" I said.

"Oh,look it's 10 already... should we be getting ready for sleep? Wait,i'll help you with

your stuff..." I said. "No,no... I can do it myself" Tao said. "Ok" I replied.

I helped him pull the suitcase in my bedroom. "Flick the lights" I ordered. "Ok"

Tao said flicking the lights on. "So,this will be your side and this will be my side!"

I said. "Great!" Tao said. "Don't be shy! Make your self comfortable here,we're not 

gonna eat you" I said. Or atleast i won't.... There's a vampire in our house... I won't

allow such incident to happen though...

"Ok,are you ready,im going to sleep..." I said and went under the blankets at my bed.

"Thank you very much for letting me stay at your home... " Tao said. "No problem,

we're good people and that's what good people do..." I said. I peacefully closed my eyes.

Sungjae's POV

Was it a good idea letting the foreign boy stay and sleep with Minhyuk. Well,i guess i could

stop by their room for a moment. I got up from my bed and went up the stairs where their

room was located. I slightly opened the door. "H-Hey... Sungjae... are you there?" I walked

quietly through the room. I guess they both had fallen asleep and maybe i shouldn't bother

them. Tao had taken an awkward position with Minhyuk,he was leaning towards towards

Minhyuk and his face was touching his neck... Wait... I think that Tao wasn't sleeping yet...

Tao's lips were touching Minhyuk's neck... I knew that Sungjae was a deep sleeper and that

he would not wake up easily... All of a sudden i saw Tao place his hand on the other side

of the neck and pull it closer on his face... Minhyuk didn't react... 

I had to do something and urgently... 

All of a sudden,Tao's fangs were revealed,my eyes went wide from the shock... He was

about to bite my best friend and i would not let him do that... 

I leaped on the bed where Minhyuk was sleeping.I pushed Tao down on the floor. Tao

looked shocked,his fangs were still revealed,he hissed at me. Minhyuk didn't wake up yet.

"You can bite anyone else except my best friend... understood?!" I said. 

"Guys... what's wrong?" Minhyuk said as he yawned on the bed and turned to our side to see

us. Tao's fangs were gone now. "What happened guys? Why this noise? " Minhyuk asked.

"YOU DIRTY VAMPIRE!" I shouted at Tao's face. Tao played it innocent. He played the

scared one. "First of all... get off the newcomer" Minhyuk commanded. "You won't believe

what i saw,Minhyuk" I said as i was pulling off from that filthy little ....

" I saw everything!" I said looking at Tao. "Wh-what did i do? I did nothing" Tao said,looking

innocent. "Minhyuk,... this boy over here wanted to kill you..." I said. "You're overreacting"

Minhyuk said trying to calm me down. "HE WAS ABOUT TO BITE YOUR NECK!"

I shouted loud. "Calm down!! There's no way he could do that... instead of hating the 

newcomer,can you just try to be friends with him?" Minhyuk asked.

"Friends?! With... that?! Nope,not even in 100 years" I said. "Come on,Sungjae.I know you

didn't like me,i will try to be a better person than before,i swear" Tao said.

I exchanged mean looks with Tao. "Sungjae,you are 18 years old for gods sake... You'll

be always my best friend,it's not that im putting other people above you... " Minhyuk said.

"Are you implying that im jealous?" I asked. "That's what i think so! Now,try to make things

up or no breakfast for you Sungjae." Minhyuk said. "I don't eat breakfast Minhyuk..." I said

giving Minhyuk the look to remind him that im still a vampire. 

Minhyuk left the room and it was only me and Tao.

"So... when are you going to leave?" I asked. "I was going to ask the same thing" Tao said.

"Why did you try to attack my best friend?" I asked. "How else could we creatures live?"

Tao replied. "You're a vampire,too,i guessed right,huh?" He asked again. "How did you

know?" I asked. "Vampires smell blood and i could smell none from you..." Tao said.

"I want you to get burned by the sunlight" I threatened him. "So,you want a fight,don't ya?"

Tao asked. I didn't want to mess thing here,if Minhyuk came in,he would hate me even more.

"I'll get your friend tonight... " Tao said. I couldn't keep myself,i leaped towards Tao and

scratched his arms with my fingernails. "How dare you touch me?" Tao asked. "How dare

you say things like that about my friend?" I asked. Tao's fangs were revealed and he tried

to bite me anywhere... "Try to bite me and you're dead" I said. I pushed his head with my

hand and his head hit the floor behind him. He tried to move his head but my hand was

very strong.He finaly escaped from my head. "You have never drank blood before,so

you're way weaker than me... i've got much power than you little .." Tao said.

"YEAH SO WHAT? Im gonna smash that face of yours completely before you even 

say anything" I threatened him. I revealed my fangs and used them as a weapon. I pierced

them hard into Tao's neck and tried violently to rip him off. I was like a mom eagle 

protecting her babies... I pulled my fangs from his neck. Tao was in a lot of pain but he

was still alive.He tried to come to his senses again. "You know im already dead...?"

He said. "You know that you're not that unbeatable,huh?" I said. I knew the secret weapon

for the vampires...  but... Tao was gone... Uh no!... He probably is down with Minhyuk...

who am i kidding... he IS down with Minhyuk... I ranned downstairs as quickly as i could,

what if he already bit him,i don't even want to imagine that... oh god!

"MINHYUK!" I shouted looking in the room for Minhyuk. "Hey Sungjae... did you and Tao

become friends,now?" Minhyuk said. If Tao wasn't there... then he could... 

"Hey pal,wanna watch tv?" I heard a voice... It was Tao,he was watching tv. "Never" I

said through my teeth. "Still,huh? What's wrong with you 2 ?" Minhyuk asked me.

It seems like Tao has patience.He's breaking my patience and i can't stand him anymore~

Minhyuk... I will never let him hurt you... I swear... ~
