The sun had set long ago when the van carrying the members of 100% pulled into the dorm’s underground parking lot. The whole day had been filled with driving around from schedule to schedule, leaving each member completely drained by the time they got back. Slowly but surely, they slipped out of the van, heading upstairs to the comfort of their beds. Changbum hopped out, taking Jonghwan by the hand as soon as he slid out as well. A soft chuckle left his lips as he led the singer upstairs as it was more than clear that Jonghwan was about to fall asleep on the spot without guidance. Good thing Changbum was more of a night creature, so now he could make sure Jonghwan got to bed. He pressed the button to the elevator, knowing that the singer would never make it up the stairs in this state.

Jonghwan scrunched his nose a little as the bright light of the elevator hit his eyes. Groaning softly, he buried his face in Changbum’s neck to block it out. Sleepily, he sniffed up the familiar scent of Changbum’s soap (be it mixed with the faint scent of sweat at this point) and looked up, squinting his eyes a little to make out Changbum’s features. His gaze slowly glided from the rapper’s neck, along his jaw line, up to his eyes. And there his gaze lingered. Even though he was viewing them from the side in an extremely drowsy state, Changbum’s surprisingly light brown eyes were as mesmerising as ever. He wondered if anyone had ever told Changbum how pretty they were, or if he was even aware of it himself. With a soft hum he lazily lifted up his hand, reaching for the rapper’s cheek yet froze when Changbum tilted his head a little to the side, their eyes meeting.

Another soft chuckle left Changbum’s lips as he gently grasped Jonghwan’s hand, pulling it out of its frozen state up to his lips. He softly brushed them against the singer’s hand, not once breaking their eye contact. Smiling lightly against the skin, he saw Jonghwan’s cheeks grow redder and redder with each second and his heart started to beat faster as he slowly let his arm slide around Jonghwan’s waist and pulled him closer. A whirlpool of thoughts flooded through Changbum’s mind as his face slowly inched closer to the singer’s. He was aware of Jonghwan’s feelings for him and that in his turn the singer was unsure of Changbum’s. After countless of quick glances and vague hints it was finally his chance.  With just one move the rapper could take all those doubts away from the singer’s mind and they could indulge their hearts. Jonghwan’s hand trembled lightly in his as Changbum laced their fingers together and gave it a small, reassuring squeeze.

Jonghwan’s head was spinning as Changbum’s face inched closer and his warm breath hit his lips. He was now wide awake yet he still couldn’t completely wrap his head around what was happening. They were about to do what Jonghwan had wanted to do since he had fully accepted his own feelings for the younger man. This is what those late night Internet searches had been for: to get Changbum to return his affection.  Yet something felt off. Maybe it was because this was all happening differently from what Jonghwan had imagined or maybe because it was all happening a lot faster than he had imagined. With his heart beating like crazy Jonghwan snapped back to reality. This wasn’t how he wanted this to go. Instead, he wanted to be the one to initiate it. Holding Changbum’s hand tightly, he reached behind him to grab the other arm and peeled it off his waist before spinning them around and pinning Changbum against the wall.

The rapper blinked a little at Jonghwan’s sudden change. His cheeks felt hot as their lips brushed together lightly, Jonghwan coyly taking over the control. He slowly closed his eyes thinking that having the singer take charge was an interesting development. With a small shock, the floor underneath them came to a stop and Jonghwan quickly pulled away from Changbum when he realised that the elevator had stopped and that the doors were sliding open to reveal the rest of the building. The moment was gone and Jonghwan was suddenly all too aware of their surroundings. With bright red cheeks he mumbled an apology to the rapper before quickly heading to his room, leaving a slightly confused and disappointed Changbum in the elevator.
