Night (Jonglo)
~Collection of B.A.P oneshots/drabbles~The streets were still wet from the recent downpour, the smell of rain still lingering in the air. Cars passed by swiftly on the asphalt road beside, streetlights shadowing the moon. The stores were still open along the streets but the pavement was empty, except for two people.
The sounds of their footsteps were matching, and it sounded soothing in the quiet neighborhood. After all, it was some time past midnight.
They were out there for no other reason than...Pokémon hunting.
“A rattata again,” Junhong growled, clearly not satisfied upon seeing the Pokémon. It’d been the third one that they’d spotted that night. He stopped where he was, and turned to look at Jongup.
The elder shrugged, a grin still on his face. He looked a bit too smug to be himself and Junhong snickered. The reason for it was that earlier he had caught a Pikachu—they had a tickle war and shoulder bumping contest fighting over it, but Jongup won (and Junhong had childishly stomped his feet)—and he still wasn’t over it.
“Looking proud, aren’t you,” Junhong mumbled grimly, a small pout on his face. He furrowed his eyebrows and focused on his phone screen again, checking if there were anything else nearby.
“Pika” Was Jongup’s playful reply. He’d had a great catch already, so he switched off his phone and slid it into the pocket of his jeans. A chilly wind danced past, and he rolled down the sleeves of his hoodie.
Junhong snorted, and absent-mindedly took a few steps forward. A few minutes of silence enveloped them while they took steady steps forward before Junhong suddenly gasped in surprise.
“Oh my god,’’ He murmured, to himself.
Jongup raised an eyebrow upon seeing the younger man’s eyes immediately light up and an excited expression on his face. He tried to match his pace when Junhong started fast-walking, and decided to let it go when the giant maknae started running.
