He laid on the bed and let out a deep sigh.His eyes wandered on the white ceiling.

 

This is so mundane.I should paint it pink.

 

He remembered his conversation with his mom that evening.Again,his mom planned on setting up another blind date for him.He would refuse of course,like he always did.He's just 23 for God's sake.Just way to early for a marriage.And those girls that his mom set up for him would never say no.He smirked.

 

I'm a celebrity anyway.They just love my popularity.

 

That's one thing he could never understand about girls.What's with girls and those showing off thing anyway?Arguing over whose boyfriend is better,whose handbag is more expensive,wear a LOT of accessories or even showing off their skinny legs.Did they get full over that?Oh..Maybe they could boil all the jeweleries and eat them like soup.

 

Ughh~Why am I getting stressed out over this?None of my bussines anyway.

 

He messed up his hair and rised from his bed.He took a quick shower and got ready for bed.

 

He was about to sleep when his phone rang.

 

"Yeobosaeyeo?"

 

"Yeobosaeyeo Jongdae-ah."

 

"Oo~hyung..what's up?I was about to sleep.Anything about my schedule?Am I getting free time again?"He said while putting on mischevious grin.

 

"Sorry for the interrupt.Well...sort of.The director gave you a week break."

 

"It's okay.Oh..so I'm getting a week—wait!WHAT!?But why?For what?He's not a person to give break easily,"

 

"I don't know too Jongdae-ah...he said your mom ask for that.Personal matters she said.Now go to sleep."

 

"Wait!Wait!WAIT!!!HYUNG!!!Aish~~I don't even finished my words..and what the fudge omma asked for that?"Is she sick?But she never called him even when she was admitted to hospital once before.Personal matters huh?No blind date please.

 

A few minutes passed and another call came in.Jongdae looked at the caller ID and instantly picked up.

 

"Jong—"

 

"OMMA!!!!!!"

 

"Aish~Kim Jongdae!Don't you love me anymore?Wanna see me die from heart attack?"

 

"Of course I love you.That's why I called you loudly.I wanna show off about my omma.Wait.This is not it.I'm supposed to complain.Omma why did you asked a week break for me from the director?"He made a pout even his mom couldn't see that.

 

"Aigoo~~I bet you're pouting right now.Okay.Let's make it short.I wanna you come home for a week.Good idea right?"She said sheepishly.Jongdae gawked.Seriously?

 

"Omma~~"

 

"Yes"

 

"You're having fever or what?Seriously?A week?Why?Anything happened at home?" He couldn't help but asked a ton of question.

 

"No.Nothing happened.I just wanted to see my own son.Is that wrong?"

 

"But I can just see you over weekend.Or you can come at my place."

 

"Jongdae~~" There was change in her tone.A serious one. "Just come home," More serious this time.But there's kinda worries in her voice.His eyebrows furrowed.

 

"Omma...gwaencana?"

 

"I don't know Jongdae-ah...I just feeling uneasy lately....about you...that's why I wanted you to come...I had this feeling that something will happen.So,just please come home.Okay son?I'll hang up first.Goodnight son."

 

It was almost 2 in the morning.For hours Jongdae kept stirring left and right.He couldn't help but thinking his mother words.It was unusual for his mother to act like that.Maybe she's just lonely since appa died.

 

His appa died when he was still a highschooler.When he graduated highschool he left their house to achieve his dream as a singer.Since then his omma lived alone.He would pay a visit sometimes but that might be not enough for his mother.Now,he feels guilty for leaving his mother.

 

And there was something that he seemed to forget.

 

Mother instinct always right.
