Three days before the school would start for Baekhyun, Chanyeol had an unexpected visit.
Baekhyun opened the door and as soon as he saw a young business woman that he detested, he hissed at her. He would've slammed the door right at her face, but Chanyeol was right behind him, so he had to behave.

"Jessica?" Chanyeol spoke, obviously surprised to see his ex girlfriend on his porch.

"Hello. May I come in?" The woman smiled and even though she looked drop dead gorgeous, Baekhyun couldn't help but glare at her.

Chanyeol nodded and wrapped an arm around Baekhyun's waist, pulling the catboy to the side to let the woman pass in. "What brings you here?"

"I want to talk to you. In private, if possible." She answered seriously, glancing at the catboy for a second.

Baekhyun didn't like it all. He didn't like that she was there, in Chanyeol's house, looking more beautiful than ever while Baekhyun had a messy hair and a plain while shirt he took from his human. She has nothing to do with Chanyeol alone! Baekhyun thought, but right after he heard Chanyeol.

"Alright."

What? Baekhyun tilted his head to look at his human dumbfounded. No, no, no! What if she still loves my human?

Chanyeol motioned with his hand to Jessica to follow him to the living room, before turning around to face Baekhyun. "Can you make us some coffee?"

Baekhyun glared at his human, "There's no way -"

Chanyeol shut him up with a kiss and smiled at him while ruffling the catboy's soft hair, "I love you, silly. She's not going to steal me."

Baekhyun huffed and rolled his eyes before nodding. He went to the kitchen but he couldn't help but growl as his ears followed the sounds of the two humans. Sometimes he hated that Chanyeol was so good at reading his thoughts.

There's absolutely no reason for her to come here. Like it wasn't enough that she tried to talk Chanyeol into throwing me out when they were dating. She a devil! A hybrid hater, even though she denies that! What the hell could she talk about with my Chanyeol. He's mine, only mine. Baekhyun thought, sulking as he was making coffee.

When Chanyeol brought Baekhyun home, he was dating Jessica then. She didn't complain about Baekhyun because she wasn't living with the human, but after a month, whining started. She always commented how Baekhyun is an unneeded expense, how his living there for free while making no money. Luckily, Chanyeol broke up with her two months after Baekhyun started living with him.

They haven't seen Jessica since then. But why did she decide to show up a year after?

What if she wants him back? Baekhyun gasped at the thought and as soon as he made coffee, he run to eavesdrop. No, eavesdropping sounds like a bad thing, he was just… just… yeah, he was eavesdropping. He couldn't even think of a better word to excuse himself.

"I'm just worried, that's all." Baekhyun heard Jessica's voice.

"It's fine. I'm fine and happy with him." Chanyeol answered, making the catboy grin.

"You're completely smitten, Chanyeol," Jessica spoke, "How can't you see that he's using you even after so long?"

"He's not using me. He loves me."

That's right. Baekhyun nodded, pressing his ear closer to the door.

The catboy hear how someone sighed, assuming it was the woman because she spoke right after, "He's living in your house, eating your food, wasting your time and energy. You can do so much better, just open your eyes. He's using you and you know that. You know that cat hybrids aren't loyal, Chanyeol."

"He loves me and I love him back. If I cared about my finances, I wouldn't take him home back then. I wouldn't pay for our vacation, nor would I buy his books for school or his clothes. Baekhyun is my boyfriend and we're happy together. I like making him happy, even if that means spending money on someone else than myself."

"He's ripping you off."

Chanyeol sighed and spoke, "No, he isn't. Not even once did he ask for anything. Everything I bought for him or gave to him that was originally mine, I gave because I wanted. I'm not showering him with money, I'm just buying the necessities I would have to buy for myself anyway. He's working over summer, and he'll work when he finish school too. He's contributing more than you think."

"You're making a mistake Chanyeol. I just want to open your eyes before you end up heartbroken. You're probably going to pay for his college and help him find a job too and then he'll gather enough money to leave you. Can't you see? The first moment he finds someone richer to spoil him, he'll turn his back on you. It's in his nature to change partners and to look for better. He's a male cat hybrid and he is going to leave you, probably sooner than you think. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he's cheating on you; catboys are players after all."

Baekhyun had a constant frown on his face; he would never cheat on Chanyeol! Never, ever did such thought even fell on his mind and just because he was a catboy, it didn't mean he was unfaithful. Chanyeol knew that; he wouldn't be with Baekhyun if he didn't trust him. He wouldn't even let him inside if he thought that the catboy might harm him in some way.

"You're right." Baekhyun heard how Chanyeol said.

What? Baekhyun moved away from the door, storming to the kitchen with his palms pressed against his ears. No, he probably - Chanyeol would never… He was defending the catboy a minute ago! He said he loved…

Baekhyun couldn't, he didn't want to believe what he heard. Chanyeol didn't agree, he didn't buy Jessica's story! No! He…

The catboy sat on a chair, but right after he stood up. He was hurt, sad, pissed off - he felt so many things he couldn't even pick an emotion, but he knew he couldn't stay there anymore.
If Chanyeol didn't trust him, then he had nothing to do there. How could he fall for Jessica's story so easily?
He couldn't believe that Chanyeol, of all people would think that Baekhyun was only using him. Did that mean that Chanyeol was also using Baekhyun? How? Baekhyun couldn't even think of anything, but he was sure that he was right. If Chanyeol thought Baekhyun was with him just for advantages or something, then he was most likely using him.
