From the door men .   .   . to the janitors  .   .     . to the people up in management, almost everybody from the lobby to the 12 floor has heard of what happened yesterday . It didn't take hours for the rumour to spread like a wildfire . Those who witnessed it , exaggerating as always ,have spread the story way's faster than they spread out  payment rais gossips.

      For once in this cold and calm building people have found something to talk about other than money . The incident was almost like feeding hungry wolves a small amount of meat  .  .   . Even the people who have always claimed hyeon had a huge connection to be hired couldn't believe her connection went as far as their executive director. Thire executive director who has never ever even been talked about except when it comes to business or Min Ah is now at the center of the stage.   But almost of all of them signed under a huge contract none can open their mouth to anybody outside this building . If so there will be lines of lawyers suing them for millions.

        The excitement was running high when hyeon walked in .

       From the door men that scanned her up and down  holding in their smiles to the whole lobby that went silent and the people moving out of her way to let her pass .  .    .  there seems to be no mistaking hyeon for anybody . Everybody knows it was her hands that jae fell into . Eventhough hyeon has walked in head down .  .  Eyes glued to the floor she can feel the eyes staring at her.   Even hear some of their words as she walked by .

          “ .   .   .   How are you gonna sit through the meeting then , if you're this scared to even look at people” jessica has asked as she got hyeon some hot tea to help with the stress.  Laying on the couch hyeon has shut her swollen eyes to get at least some sleep for the pills to work . Having stayed up all night thinking about jae .  .  .  Her eyes even wouldn't shut as her brain goes through millions of scenarios.  And no matter how she tries she can get that feeling of when his lifeless body just fell onto hers out of her mind .  The clock passing by hour after hour she has walked into the office without even a minute sleep the night before. No Matter how early she showed up to avoid people the office seems to be full when she walked in. Hiding her dismayed face by her hoodie .  .  . Her aching brain didn't even care that much about all the gossip around her as she walked in

     “ .   .   .  He’s alright .   .   .  He's perfectly fine , he's just sleeping right now “ joon has told her over the phone bug no matter how he repeats it hyeon doesn't seem to believe that jae is ok.

   His trembling body .   .   .  His shaking hands .  .  His irregular breathing .   .   Hyeon couldn't just let it go and let the medicine work on making her sleep. But after half an hour of fidgeting around hyeon has gotten her peace and fallen asleep . Unlike her though the whole building stayed alert waiting for the important people to walk in, specifically Jae.  Its him that most wanna see .   ,   .  Since the rumour going around is that he's dead or had a heart attack.

      Known to be the already engaged to Min Ah, most can't even believe what they saw . There are so many questions to ask .  .   .  So many holes that need to be filled. From hyeon seducing jae and stealing him away to jae using hyeon to cheat on min ah the rumors have passed around exciting everybody to find out the truth .   .   . From people who wanna beat him up for cheating on minah  .   .   .  Or even for doing it with someone like hyeon .  .    .   To the jealous ones that if it was someone like min ah why couldn't it have been them .  Must have curse words or a beat down ready for jae But when he walked into the building with joon on the right sungi on the left  .   Most couldn't even lift their fingers to point as they did too hyeon .

           Half his face covered by his disheveled hair and the hotty on top .  .    . The other half by his jacket's collar it seems like  even jae was aware of of all the eyes that were waiting for him.  Hands in his pockets the once majestic walk of his that most looked out for is now a heart breaking one . His face turned to the floor his shoulder slagging .   .   .  His feet seem to be forcing themselves into walking as he walked through the hallway.

      All the gossiping mouths .  .   .  the pointing hands .  .  .  There was no movement at all .  . With their eyes glued to his every step followed him .  All just glared at jae silently as he walked through the quiet hallway until he disappeared into the elevator.

   “ .   .    . Do you want me to come in or .  ?” joon with a whisper of a voice asked turning his head a little to the right to glance at the man behind him standing against the wall. Jae did not respond .  .   .  He hasn't opened his mouth since he walk up in the hospital .  .   .  Didn't even bother to answer Mins or the other physicians questions as he pulled his cloth back on and rushed out of the hospital . And even though very worried joon has took over and let jae do whatever he wants while he does what he needs to be done . Calling hyeon .  .   .  Making dinner .  .  Making sure jae took his medication .   Sleeping on the couch waiting for every movement jae made .   Joon has truly once again proved why he's the best friend.

    Driving to the office even sungi knew to stay quiet . Neither of the men on the front seats bothered jae as he sat behind staring out into the city.  If not as much as joon but even sungi knows whatever is waiting for jae is not gonna be good. Forget making him come back to work they might actually force him to given up everything he has .

   No words exchanged .   .     Just their loud sighs filling the air .  The elevator opened up to the luxurious c.e.o floor.  Even the secretary that always welcomed them with smile just gave a bow as jae followed by joon walked into the double doors then into the dads office sungi stayed behind. He doesn't have the strong heart to just sit through what gonna happen behind those double doors . He has always been the hot headed one that jumps up first .

     “ .    .      .  Just let it go through one ear and out the other “  joon whispered before he stayed behind and sat on the chair by the book shelf.

  “ .   .      I’ll  call you back “ the dad hanged up the phone . .   . Ahis stayed on his son as he took of the hoddi and sat down in the couch in front .    .     .  Hands still in his pocket jae didn't even look up as he waited for his dad’s words .  But the room stayed quit for a couple of minutes as the dad hesitates on if he should ask about jaes fainting yesterday     .   .   But it would sound weird to be wondering and asking about jaes health now.

  “ .       .    .   Are you ok?” standing up the dad asked jae didn't reply. His scared .   .   . His scared of what's about to come .   .   ,  breathing in and out he is just focused in keeping his heart beating regularly .  Even raising his eyes and looking at his dad would force his hands to start shaking so he kept his eyes on the table.  Every bit of nerve in his body is petrified as the dad steps started getting closer.

    “ .    .    .  Quit as always hu” the dad brushed off his tie and sat down i  the sofa right in front of jae .  Legs crossed hand laying on each side of the sofa .  . As jae with his eyes glued to the table sits with his hands in his pocket .  It’s very easy to read off who has the power in this conversation.

     “ .    .    .   do you have some problem .  .   . Whats with collapsing here and there?” the dad asked his son's new behaviour a bit surprising him . Avoiding eye contact jae seems to be hiding something and again he didn't respond.

     “ .    .    .  I hear she is in the office right now”

“ .   .    .  Am fine” jae replied immediately . The dad surprised by how fast he replied couldn't help but start laughing .

  “ .    .     .  Hahha” he went on laughing but his laugh stooped quickly as did his face that turned serious.

   “ .    .    .  Get back to work” he commanded his voice returning to his usual serious state.

 “ .   .     .  We have the china deal still on hold , we have to re negotiate the shinwa deal  .    .   .the stocks are falling down and   tax season is coming  up so i can't even give you  a break”  fixing his glasses the dad added

“ .    .     .  but i’ll give you tomorrow so get back by thursday” folding his arms the dad waited for a couple of seconds for a reply that never came. Jae needed some time to figure out what his dad is doing. It was scary when his dad made direct threats but now he doesn’t even seem to be bother to do so. It seem like he knows what power he has, jae brushed his hair back. his dad new way of commanding him scaring him even more than his direct threats.

     “ .    .    . is that a yes or a no” opening his hands the dad stood up and started walking to his desk. He didn’t get any response from his son. he never seem to get any response .

    “ .   .    .  Get back to work and I won't be bothered with anything else you do” the dad added his offer seeming appealing to him but neither of the two men seem to even be convinced as he glanced at jae then joon .  

   “ .    .    .   I’ll even sign a contract with you if you want” the dad sat down in his desk silencing the phone right when it start ringing.

   “ .    .    .  Sir you wife is coming up “ the voice of the secretary screamed from the phone. The person she mentioned scaring all three men the dad turned the loud speaker off.

       “ .   .    . am just asking you to come back to work” the dad locked eyes with jae who was standing up . He has to get away before the madam sees him . He hasn't even thought of what she will do yet . For now all his worries are on what his dad will do if he doesn't come back on thursday.

       “ .    .     .   If i were you i would end it before it gets serious “

the dad added hoping he would get some kind of reaction but none. Jae just went on walking towards the door . The dad didn't miss joons little smirk though.

     “ .   .    .   See you thursday .  “ they cathed the dad shout as the door was closing behind them . As quietly as they walked in they walked out quietly .  .  The elevator ride down was an even more awkward one . As sungi fidgets very eager to know what they talked about but a bit scared to break the silence . him and joon seem to be the only ones that noticed when the elevator passed the 10th floor . Doesn't seem like jae wants to see hyeon.

       “ .   .    .  So we going back home or .  .  “ joon asked gently.

“ .   .    . Drop me off at home

“ .     .    .  I don't wanna see anybody ” jae brushed his hair back .  .  .  both joon and sungi leaned in to see his face before his hair falls back covering it again.  Asking to be dropped at ichenol , at his man cave . He seriously must not wanna see hyeon , joon concluded before he opened his mouth and asked if they should drop by her office and say hi.

   Click - the elevator door opened but none of them moved   .  , the figure that started appearing as the elevator doors slide sideways was unexpected one that none of them could even stop their eyes from glaring out at it . Holding their breath in both joon and sungi turned thier head slowly to the man standing in the middle.

   A good minute went by before the door started sliding back and sungi jumped up sending his hand to press hold . His disheveled face and dismayed eyes staring at hyeon who doesn't look that much different from him jae couldn't find anything to say.

     “ .    .     .   Hi” hyeon broke the silence .   .   .  Caught off guard by his presence she needed a bot time to calm herself before she shouts out the millions of questions that have kept her awake last night. Just like the two in the levator jessica also turned her eyes to jae eagerly waiting for his answer.
