The MisfitsHana immediately backed off and this time, Taemin let her go. “Sanguera.” Her voice was higher than usual and goosebumps appeared on her skin. “There, there. Calm down, he's fine.” Another guy suddenly appeared in the door frame; he had dark brown hair with highlights, and he wore a dark, long coat and an even more ridiculous scarf around his neck. “Name's Onew. Nice to meet you,”
He walked over to Taemin and patted his shoulder. “Hana, right? Well, this guy here... is well, a friend of ours, just as he said.” Taemin raised his brow, but he leaned back and nodded again. “Leave us alone.” Taemin muttered and a heavy frown appeared on Minho's face. “I don't think this is a good idea.” Jonghyun nodded in agreement, but then someone knocked at the door.
“Guys, she is assembling the hunters. We have to go.” Key nodded at Taemin, who nodded back. Even though they didn't like it, they slowly walked towards the doors. They left, slowly, one after another, and left Hana alone with Taemin. “So, they went through so much trouble because of you, more or less.” Hana's whole body was under tension, especially since he didn't hold back his presence.
It was like going against a huge predator. It was simply impossible. “You are Kai's brother?” There were a few resemblances between Kai and Taemin, especially their faces, but still, there were much differences between them. “I am as much of brother as Chanyeol is to him.” Confused, Hana blinked at him and for a moment, her worry and fear disappeared. “What do you mean by that?”
A smile appeared on Taemin's face, but his dangerous aura did not disappear. “Well, he's not exactly my brother,” Taemin shrugged before he moved his hands slightly. Two chairs moved a bit, and he sat down on one of them. “Sit down,” he made an inviting gesture, and again it was like someone would move Hana's body against her own will. “Kai... well, he's my half brother. The result of my father's escapade,” so they were half brothers, but it seemed like there was more behind that than only that.
“Kai... grew up in the slums while I lived with my father in wealth. We had everything, while Kai had nothing. I only found out later about him. Later, in the Sanguera.” The news dropped like a bomb for Hana, and she drew another sharp breath. “What?” She stuttered, and Taemin's smile deepened. “They didn't tell you anything, am I right?”
