When the Resolve Results to an Unexpected Event
Romantic Street: A Detour To Destiny
I woke up and found myself inside our room. I don't even remember how I ended up here. One thing that I can recall is after I strolled around the mall, I went inside a convenience store then everything became blurry. Damn. My head hurts so much now too.
I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to fix myself. When I was done, I searched for Yuri yet he's not anywhere here at home. The front door opened and Yuri came in, holding a bag of groceries. "Good morning, Fany. Glad you're finally awake." He said and I followed him to the kitchen.
"What happened?"
"Well... You were so drunk last night. Here. I bought you pickle juice." He said and handed me the bottle. "Drink that."
"Eiww."
"That's good to ease hangover. Just go drink it." I followed and drank it up straight. Yuck. It really tastes bad. "See? If you didn't drink last night then you won't get to taste that. I bought you two more." He said.
"No I don't want that anymore."
"Stop being stubborn and drink all of them!" He shouted angrily.
"Why are you mad at me?!"
"You always bypass me and I don't know why you love to do that all the time!"
"I- I'm sorry... I know you will get mad if I drink."
"No. I am mad that you left me like that! Don't you know how hard it was to search for you? And you didn't even bring that goddamn phone I gave you."
"I'm sorry..."
"Don't do it again. Oh wait. I forgot that how many times I tell you not to do something, you still do it."
"I'm sorry."
"Why, Tiffany? Why are you treating me like this?"
"It's not you..."
"Then what? It’s all because of you? That line was just freaking invented to blame someone indirectly in case you don’t know!"
"I'm sorry."
“Enough... Go wake up Sunkyu. Breakfast is ready." He ended and I followed.
Our meal turned out surprisingly quiet. It's obvious that Yuri was so mad this time. Unlike the last time when we argued about me working in Malibu Club, this time he's too quiet and doesn't even glance at me. His anger is so obvious with his furrowed brows. He sure is scary when he is in hell-mode, like what Hyoyeon told me the last time. This went on until lunch time. He didn't even bother to talk to me at least a bit. I don't know why he's acting like this. I mean, this is over the line. He's supposed to be at least considerate why I did that, right? Did I say something when I was drunk that made him so mad like this?
Now look at him. He's been keeping himself busy on fixing our cabinet door. I know he just wants to have an excuse not to talk to me today. So, here I am again, trying my best for him to forgive me.
"Yuri-ah."
"Not now, Fany. I'm busy."
I locked the door then drew closer to him. I hugged him from behind. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me."
"It's already done. There's nothing to be sorry about." He said, still focusing on what he's fixing.
"Please. Don't be like this to me. What can I do for you to forgive me?"
He stopped then turned around, looked at me straight in the eyes. "Do you love me?"
"Yes. I love you so much."
"Am I the only one?"
...
"Yes..."
"I want you to know that..." He fixed my bangs and cupped my face. "I love you. You're all I ever wanted and more. Even if you try to leave me, I'll just be right here, loving you with all my heart." Without a warning, tears started to fall from my eyes. I kissed him passionately, cherishing each and every second of it. He doesn't deserve to be hurt. I have to do what I should have done from the very start. I have to let go of my past. I have to forget Sooyoung. Because I know, this man in front of me is the one that I will love and cherish forever.
*Three-days-later*
It was the first day of school for the New Year. To be honest, though I miss the free time I had on winter break, I miss going to school more. Well, there are always weird and funny episodes going on in
