Can't You
Poems(Random, Different Kind)Can't You
Can't you stay a bit more?
What is the rush?
I want you here beside me.
Let's go out and grab something to eat,
I'll buy you anything you'd fancy.
Anything.
We can go to any restaurants you want,
Even to any expensive dine-in restaurants,
To any fastfood you want.
Anywhere.
Money is not a problem,
If my cash run out,
I can get a credit card,
I can borrow from my friends,
So don't think twice about it,
I'll get it.
Somehow.
Maybe you want to watch a movie,
Come on, let us go and watch a movie,
Let's order your favorite popcorn.
We can watch as many as you want,
It's your call.
We'll do anything you want.
Name it and we'll do it.
Maybe you wish to have a family vacation,
We can go anywhere you want.
We can pack our bags and go.
We can go to the beach,
Climb the mountain,
Enjoy the fresh breeze.
Anywhere.
Tell me.
Tell us.
Don't go,
There is no rush,
We want you here with us,
Right beside us.
We can watch the sunrise,
Watch the birds fly by.
We can see the sunset,
Do stargazing.
Perhaps you prefer a world cruise,
We can book at once,
Sail to the best ports around the world.
Perhaps you prefer to ride an airplane,
We can book a flight,
Fly to any airport,
To any place in the world.
Name it,
We can get there.
Anywhere.
Don't go yet,
There is no rush,
Stay.
Stay a bit more.
I want you here beside me,
Beside us.
Stay.
There is no rush.
Writer's note: Composed April 2 2016, I wanted to try composing a poem this way.
