OGS London and visiting London - the experience.

Words cannot describe how amazing OGS was in London.

They are flawless. Their sync was outstanding, their singing was magnificent and everything was just perfect altogether. They told the crowd to calm down and not to push and shove, as some girls had to be taken out from the crowd due to fainting because they were overwhelmed or from all the pushing and shoving from the rest of the fans. I felt super terrible to see it happen though, I hope them girls are okay! I was a little disappointed that some fans had the cheek to push and shove though, even though being told many times to not push and shove because many people online and by infinite themselves.

The solos were so so so amazing. Sungyeol’s DJ-ing and Sungjong’s intense keyboard playing was just so cool and interesting to see. It amused me a lot hahaha. Woohyun’s solo was just so cute as the song suited him so much. He went up to the second floor and ended up lost in the crowd of swarming and touchy fangirls - but despite the fact that there was loads of fangirls touching and swarming him, he continued to sing like never before and belted out the high notes, which made me so happy. Sunggyu’s solo was just breathtaking. I admit, I never screamed so hard ever in my life because of a song. He sang 60 seconds as an accapella first with little background instruments, and before the pre-chorus or so, the drums and electric guitar was added and it made the song just intense and amazing. It suited the song so much and it honestly just made me excited and I loved it so much. Myungsoo’s solo was so cute too, him and his adorable smile that was plastered on his face throughout the performance was just captivating and made the song so happy and joyful. When he kisses the teddy bear, I swear, my heart dropped and it made me aww. He is seriously the cutest.

The VCRs of infinite kicking just wowed me too. Left me speechless. I know it was obviously staged, but wow was it cool or what. Knowing me - I have a big thing for action movies/games/videos/etc; so this just got me damn well excited and jumpy. If you know me, you would know that I’m a huge Sunggyu stan so when he came on I screamed at the top of my lungs and oh my did I do it at the most awkwardest times ever, as everyone was quiet and then you hear the dying whale scream somewhere in the mosh pit hahaha.

The ending speech though. Oh my gosh. I cried. It was so heartwarming. They where saying how they were so nervous to come on stage because they didn’t know if we were gonna be jumpy and excited to see them, but obviously we proved them wrong. They were so thankful that we were so supportive and we sang along when we were asked to, even when they didn’t ask we still continued to scream and sing along. There wasn’t many fan chants, I only specifically remember that majority of us sang along with the fan chant to Be Mine. We received banners to be held up during the performance of Going to You, but I was disappointed to see how many people forgot. A few people who where standing including my friends and I and probably a few people who where sitting held up the at the appropriate time. After they done their ending speech, Sunggyu put on a birthday hat on Dongwoo and we all started to sing happy birthday to Dongwoo while Hoya and Sungjong throw water over his face. Ah, his expressions were so cute.

Overall, OGS was pretty amazing. It was such an exciting experience and it was my first time seeing a K-pop concert, so I’m quite happy that everything was amazing and it was a concert by my most favourite band in the whole entire world. I’m very thankful that I got to be able to see them as well. :’) After heading back to the hotel, I ended up being very depressed and utterly shocked and speechless, unable to grasp the fact that I had went and seen my favourite, incredible boy band ever. For the first ever k-pop concert I had went to. I swear, I wanted to just sit on my bed and cry all day. It was so hard not to cry at the airport on the way home because I was leaving the place where my dream came true.

London - in general - was quite exciting too. I haven’t been to London since 2008 so I have very little memory about how London was and what it all looked like, so going back to London and passing by buildings I recognised did bring back memories and did make me feel very nostalgic. Chinatown made me have extreme nostalgic feelings though. I remembered quite a lot of stores there, and it was fun to see new stores that have opened too. Eating at a Korean/Japanese restaurant will be one of my key memories during this trip. It was really nice, although a little small, the service was good and the food came quickly and the atmosphere was calming:).

Visiting the M&M Store was quite awesome too. The staff were really nice and helpful. There were two guys that approached my friends and I and gave us an insight about the M&M Store and what we could find on each floor and if we needed help to not be afraid to ask them. The amount of colourful M&Ms that was set on the second and third floor was quite the view. They were so beautiful looking as they were set in a rainbow style. It was seriously hypnotising and amazing to see. Not forgetting they tasted amazing too:)

On Thursday, Kim, my sister, her boyfriend and I all went to Hyde Park - Winter Wonderland. It was magnificent. The rides were so cool, the food was delicious and the view was so pretty. Kim and I went into a ride that was like a scary mansion ride, and it was pretty cool despite the fact that I had my eyes covered throughout the whole thing hahaha. Definitely not forgetting the guy who jumped on our cart thing. I screamed so hard when I saw him but dude I loved him for some strange reason. When he first appeared before I even got on the ride, he saw me pointing at him and he nodded at me and I strangely took two pictures of him hahaha. We then went into two more roller coasters before heading to the train station and leaving to go to the airport, splitting up with Kim in the meantime.

I had a real blast in London and I am so happy it turned out well. Thank you to my mother for letting me skip school to see infinite, to my brother for paying for the flight to London, to my sister and her boyfriend for coming with me, to Kim for paying for the tickets and coming with me to seeing them, to Linda for also meeting up with Kim and I and having a blast at the concert with, and last but not least, a huge thank you to Infinite for coming to the UK and making this trip happen as well be one of the reasons why I loved this trip so much, for making the trip memorable and amazing too. I will never forget these two marvellous days where I meet two of my best friends and see my most loved band ever. :)

To this day today (even though it's only been 3 days after the concert has happened hahaha) I am still starstruck that I went to see Infinite. I cannot believe it. If they have any future concerts, I will probably act the same way as I am now, hahaha. Post concert depression big time:(.
