SOCIABLE → In a party full of strangers, Andine is perhaps one of the first people you would meet. She greets everyone with a smile and makes people around her feel welcome. She enjoys lots of company: she loves going out and having fun with her friends, chattering off about daily life, and doing activities together. She does keep her emotions to a certain extent, though–she has to have some finesse as a lady, after all.

STRAIGHTFORWARD → Her expressive personality can get a little too far sometimes, especially when she's in a rush or in a bad mood. Whenever she thinks someone has made a mistake, she doesn't hesitate to point it out. This usually happens when she's working on a group project. Most of the time, she would consider the other person's feelings and choose her words before uttering it out, other times she would straight up put up a lecture about the mistake. It's just that she wants everything to be as flawless as possible.
SELFLESS → Did I say she was caring? Oh, boy she is. Some people call her attention-seeking or desperate: she just couldn't help but offer aid to a distressed person, even when it's not quite necessary to do so. She would put others' needs before her own, only to prove that she is a loyal and dependable friend. She doesn't realize it, but sometimes it makes her friends worried about her well-being. Her brother constantly has to remind her to take care of herself.
INSECURE → When she's home alone, she usually reflects on how she's treated the people around her. Was she too expressive? Had she hurt anyone's feelings? Maybe she was too harsh on that one weaker teammate? She needs someone to remind her that she's already done so much to help the people around her, and to tell her to keep doing what's right.
COMPETITIVE → She is not the type to boss around, but she might as well show people that she's a force to be reckoned with. Ever since a young age, she would compare her friends' skills to her own. From aegyo to flirting, she can think of many ways to get what she wants. She gets ahead of herself, pouting and saying that she could've done that too. It's moments like these where she has to learn to control herself.

BACKGROUND Andine was born a daughter of a Korean politician and an English teacher. She spent her childhood in Seoul, going to London once every year to visit her grandparents. They taught her English and watched the Olympics with her, where she grew an interest in gymnastics. Soon, she was assigned to a gymnastics club, where ballet was one of the courses they had to take for basic techniques. She would spend half her week in school and the other half dancing, doing contortion, or just fooling around with gymnastic ribbons and balls. During her school life, she noticed that her father had gone through various cases, warning her that the world wouldn't be as pretty as she would want. Andine's mother unfortunately passed in a car accident during her middle school years. By the time she graduated high school, she decided she wanted to have a career in ballet, but her father insisted that she take one major just for good measure. She graduated Communications program at the age of 21.

LIFESTYLE/ROUTINE Andine is an early-riser so she would wake up at 6 am every morning. Since she has no other sibling and her father usually sleeps in his office, she basically has the house for herself. She would drink a cup of tea and prepare breakfast every morning, making sure to clean herself and stretch to get ready for the day. She takes the bus to the studio, listening to Western pop music to amp up her mood. She gets to the studio and changes into her dance attire, and starts rehearsals like any other coworker. She is currently going through understudies for major roles with [Kitri] and her friend Jiwon. At 2 pm, she usually takes a break in the lounge and has a good share of lunch. Once or twice a week, she would check up her health in the physio room.

FREE TIME When she's having her days off, she would walk to a nearby café for a relieving atmosphere, or go on play dates with her friends in the mall or at the park. Sometimes she would go on "dates", too, hanging out late at night in bars and pubs. Other times when she doesn't have anyone to hang out with, she would go to the studio gym and work on her muscle strength and endurance.

BEFORE RÊVERIE She started getting interested in ballet from watching videos in YouTube, then actually getting to see a performance on a visit to her grandparents. She became so infatuated she applied to Rêverie Academy and trained there until she was old enough to audition to the legit Rêverie Dance Studio.

DANCING STYLE Having a gymnastics background, Andine was equipped with incredible flexibility, making her able to make abstract shapes and lines with her body as she dances. She's also got a sharp jazzy way of moving her arms and torso, adding a bit of seductive flair to her dancing. Her facial expressions bring alive every character she plays, and she especially loves when the choreography states to interact with miming or body language. She's really good with quick movements and jumps, however lacking in turns due to her dislocated leg, but that's nothing hard work can't solve.

Good morning, Miss Choi. I'm sure you've been informed of this interview. In case you haven't heard of me, I am Kim Joowon, former ballerina and current ballet mistress of Rêverie. 
A-Ah. Yes, Mistress Kim! Good to see you again! *bites her lip briefly and smiles*

Let's get started. Why did you want to become a ballerina? What's drawn you into ballet?
Oh, dear, let's see. It was a long time ago, actually. I've been juggling between gymnastics and ballet since I was young, but then I saw this video of a ballerina performing Swan Lake and I immediately fell for ballet ever since.

I see. How long have you been training here? 
I got into Rêverie, say, 6 years ago, right? You were there at my audition.*chuckles*

Do you have any role model? Any company works.
Oooh~ Sarah Lamb would be my absolute fave. *moans slightly* She's just goddamn gorgeous. Though, I guess in terms of technique I'd have to pick Marianela Nuñez, too.

Which character do you most prefer to play so far? Which character would you most want to portray in future productions?
No! Why are you making me pick? Let's see. *stays silent in thought* So far I think Clara is my best performance as a soloist. I want to dance Odile and Carmen but they are quite challenging. Mary Vetsera is a pain in the to dance, but I love the dynamic moves. Juliet might be interesting too.

What are your goals in, say, 10 years in this company? 
If I can't get a principal role in 10 years, I would be stressed out. *giggles* I would want to dance in international companies as well!

How do you feel about your coworkers? That includes those of higher and lower ranks, too. 
Aw, they're alright. They treat me very well, though, I am quite concerned with [Giselle], looks like she's not in a good shape lately. It's been a long time since I've seen [Gamzatti]-sunbae too.

Okay... ahem, what are your thoughts on pas de deux / partnering?
I don't...mind. *shrugs* It's... a matter of trust anyway. *looks at her in the eye with a small smile*

Do you have any sort of trouble or concern regarding practice? Schedule, technique, physical conditions, anything? 
Should be okay. Recently I dislocated my knee so I oughta be careful about that.

Hmm. Well, we'll try our best to get that fixed. You do know that whatever trouble we may face, the show must go on. 
Of course. *smile grows wider* Definitely.

Last question, what would you do without ballet?
I'd probably go back to gymnastics and get my whooped there. Not a pretty sight. That's why I don't wanna leave.

PERSONALITY At 37 years of age, Siwon has good social relationship with people. He is the typical director who will greet everyone in the studio with a wide smile on his face. He has a pure heart, but can be too burdened with something in his past. He doesn't talk about it very much, but he still enjoys life now and then. As the Rehearsal Director of Rêverie, Siwon has good responsibility, and is very disciplined. However, people don't usually see the side where Siwon can get too tired or stressed out, and no one knows what would happen if Siwon actually lost control of himself.

LOVE STORY So it was Andine's second year in the Corps de Ballet. She was rehearsing for a Giselle production with all the other girls as the group of ghosts. Enter Siwon, his presence strong and somehow majestic, and all the dancers immediately stop to greet him. With a smile, he continued the practice, guiding each mistake with the help of his wife Joowon. At the end of the practice, Siwon talked to Andine about her skills, offering her an upcoming promotion. To her delight, she agrees. From that day, they had a  mentor-student bond that grew throughtout the years.

It favored Andine to be this close to one of the highly-honored staff of the company. Soon enough, they treated each other like brother and sister. Siwon was Andine's ticket to any sort of privilege she could possibly want. As time passed, they grew closer, and Siwon eventually opened up about his inner struggle and his conflict with his wife. Although astounded, Andine only craved for more. It was like he was better off with her than his own wife. She wanted him for herself.

Andine was inches away from being promoted to a principal dancer, and the only one stopping her was Joowon's constant critique. Who else should she run to other than Siwon? Casting all logical though, her dancing and her attitude became sultry, as if luring him in with her caring personality and her dance. Until one fateful night, Siwon drove her home, cornered her into a wall, and claimed her.

RELATIONSHIP Ever since that night, Siwon felt like Andine provided the shelter he didn't find in Joowon, so he started dating her secretly. They went out on dates every now and then, with the reason of hanging out with a friend. Every problem he had he would tell her about, and Andine was there for him. She was a shoulder for him to cry on. It was wrong, Andine knew, but she couldn't have asked for a better man than the one in her embrace right now. She never cared about age difference, she liked older guys anyway. Her father didn't seem to complain, either. They would secretly make out when Joowon's not in sight. However, Siwon's problems grow to be more complicated than what she initially thought. He got drunk sometimes, let out his emotions, but Andine wasn't backing away from him. She wasn't aware of Siwon's limit, maybe even unaware of her own...
