“Tiffany Hwang, will you marry me?”

The image of Kim Taeyeon, down on one knee, proposing to her a few months ago kept on playing as the bride walked down the aisle with her father Lucas Hwang.

Taeyeon, who was at the altar couldn’t stop smiling like a smitten fool.  He had no intentions to deny that, though, since he was indeed smitten and a fool – only for Tiffany, of course.

The only guests that occupied the church hall were the bride and groom’s family and their close friends, including Yuri, Jessica, Sooyoung, Sunny and Hyoyeon.

Hyoyeon and Sooyoung were trying to hold back chuckles as they watched Tiffany’s father give her away to their best friend.

Taeyeon smiled at his soon-to-be father-in-law as her held onto Tiffany’s hand and squeezed it tightly as he sensed anxiety in her eyes.

“I’m right beside you,” he whispered into her ear and gave a sweet smile at her.

They faced the pastor and nodded, signalling that they were ready.

Right then everything was clear in Taeyeon’s mind.

This is it.

There was no doubt Tiffany was the one; the mother to his children; the one to guide him if he ever lost his way; the one he wanted to grow old with.

He heaved a content sigh,

“I do.”
