Why does my heart beat faster when I’m around you, Jessica Jung?

  “Yuri-yah, do you hear what I said?”

  I froze.

  “Ah, no-nothing, Sica-yah.”

  Jessica looked at me with a lone tear streaming down her eye.

  She looked away.

  “Why are you like this, Kwon Yuri?! Whenever I talk to you, you seem distracted. You never listen. Don’t you love me?!” Jessica snapped.

  I wiped away her tear and cupped her cheeks, and then I leaned in closer to her. My lips were barely grazing her soft, luscious ones.

  I smiled at her.

  “You see, Jessica Jung Sooyeon, you make me feel like I can accomplish anything when I’m with you. My heart feels that love that makes me nervous. Thanks to you, I feel that love that’s… magical. The one I’ve been looking for.”

  My hands s behind her neck and I pulled her in for a kiss – a passionate one at that.

  “I’m sorry I hurt your feelings… it’s just that I can’t help but stare at your pretty face,” I said with a wide grin, my hands now holding onto her shoulders.

  I could see that a faint crimson blush was forming across her face.

  I kissed her, again.

  “I love you, Jessica Jung.”

  I heard Jessica chuckle before mumbling a reply,

  “I love you too, Kwon Yuri.”
