Hanbin's pov

We broke the kiss and said goodbye.

I looked at her, slowly walking away from me.

At least I know that she will be back.

But.

What if one day, I looked at her like this again, but she's no longer just walking away from me, but she's walking out of me, and never coming back to me, to my embrace ever again?

I gave up

I couldn't hold it anymore.

Tears ran down my cheeks. They don't flow. Then rushed down furiously.

This was the first time that I've ever cried for a girl.

I stayed stoning after the outburst.

 

What happened just now at the club suddenly hit me.

(still Hanbin's pov)

I arrived at the pension.

Guards were guarding everywhere.

Every single part and corner.

I rushed upstairs and head towards the office room.

 

" Dad! " I banged the door loudly as I entered.

" Oh it's you, Hanbin. I knew it that you will come soon. " My dad spoke casually.

" Why did you send Mark down? " I burst.

" You were too slow. I was waiting for you to strike. But you didn't. Every time when you had the chance, you just let it slide. Hanbin. Listen now. NEVER will I let you ruin my plan. " My dad stared right into my eyes and shot a death glare to me.

" What are you gonna do by sending Mark down? " 

" To finish her. Only by doing that will her father feel the pain of losing a loved one. " My Dad spoke.

" What? Didnt you said in the beginning that we were just going to use her as a pawn to attract her Dad out? " I was SO confused and angry at the same time.

" Yes. But you made me run out of patience. I couldn't just sit and let you ruin this. You developed feelings for her, didn't you? "

" You said you wouldn't hurt her. " I retorted.

" Not when you've developed feelings for her. You are causing my plan to be ruined. You can't like her. She isn't for you. Hanbin. You've never disappointed me. You used to be ruthless. Heartless. Emotionless. You didn't cared about the feelings of other. Why this time round? " 

" She's different. I felt a strong connection with her. A connection that I've never felt before. The connection deepens just as how my feelings deepened. " I explained.

" You guys are impossible. Hanbin. There is no chance, and by that I mean ZERO. You will only hurt her. Just like how you've harmed her with your love. The more your love is for her, the more harm you bring towards her. Do you get it? " Dad coldly said.

" ...... "  I've never disobeyed my dad in anything that he demands me to do.

I've never disappoint him either.

I wanted to obey him this time round too, but I cannot. I can't.

" So leave her. Get out of this plan. Leave it to me. The longer you are in this, it just makes everything much more complicated. " Dad commanded.

Leave her.

Leave.

Her.

I felt like I was empty. Everything just got ripped out of me.

Is it the only way for her to not get hurt? 

Is it only by this will she be safe?

Maybe what Dad said what right.

We shouldn't be together.

The more love I had for her, it just brings her more harm.

Maybe I should leave...

 

Chaeyeon, its all for you. If this is what it takes to protect you, I'll do it. I rather hurt myself than hurt you.

I will never let anything harm you.

Hanbin wasn't picking up my calls.

It's been a week.

" Junhoe, did you see Hanbin this few days? " I asked.

" No, he wasn't in school since lastweek. " He replied.

" I've tried calling him but he wouldn't pick up my calls. "

" He hasn't contact us since the night we went clubbing. " Bobby stated.

What? 

Weird...

" Ahhhhh!! " I heard screaming voices.

I turned around and saw Hanbin surrounded with girls.

His arms were on one of them.

On her shoulder.

I felt a stab in my heart.

Why is Hanbin doing this? 

" Hanbin! " Bobby ran up to him after seeing what he had done.

He dragged the girl away from Hanbin and pulled Hanbin over.

"What are you doing?! Why did you ignore Chaeyeon's call? " Junhoe snapped at him

" What should I pickup? It's not like she my girlfriend or anyone related to me." Hanbin snoffed.

I felt my heart tearing.

Apart.

" You can take her if you want. I'm sick of it. " Hanbin added.

" Kim Hanbin! " Junhoe send a punch over to his face.

I grabbed Junhoe's arm to stop him from hitting Hanbin.

" Don't... " I glanced at Hanbin.

" But Chaeyeon... " Junhoe looked at me worriedly.

" Hanbin. Can we talk? " I tried to hold my tears from falling.

" Okay. "

Hanbin's pov

I saw her near the locker with Bobby and Junhoe.

I missed her.

It's been a week since I've last saw her.

I really wanna run up to her.

But I couldn't.

I casually grab one of the fangirls and put my arm over her shoulder.

Chaeyeon, look. Look at me.

Leave me.

I'm a bad boy.

A jerk.

 

"Hanbin, can we talk? " She said.
