Kingdom

The ride was quiet. Zelo couldn't comprehend what was in front of him. He now found himself in what he guessed was her apartment.

"Anyone home?" She called out

No answer.

Zelo looked around and it was a small place: two bedroom, one bathroom apartment. "D-do you live with someone?"

"Not exactly." She walked off heading to the washroom. She came out a few seconds later with a first aid kit box in her hands. "Sit."

Zelo did as told taking a seat on the couch. He wasn't going to argue with her. She began to clean his wounds - her touch, still gentle as he could remember. Zelo had so many questions to ask, but the look on her face was stopping him from asking.

Zelo couldn't help but examine her features. Not much has changed, still the same face but matured: doe eyes, round cheeks, the beauty mark she had on her left cheek. The only thing that really caught his attention was the noticeable scar on her left temple. He wouldn't of seen it if she didn't push her hair behind her ear.

He began to examine any of her exposed skin to assure himself that she hasn't gone through much pain. No scars or bruising. She did have a tattoo on her left arm that started from her wrist to her forearm of a dragon.

"Don't tell them." She broke the silence

Her eyes met his, "you can't tell them. You can't tell any of them that I'm alive. It's bad enough that you already know."

Zelo didn't understand. Knowing his brothers they would be happy that she was alive. "But MJ.."

"They can't know. Junnie, I know you want to tell them... But it's too dangerous. Everything I did was for all of you. Don't let that go to waste now. Please, promise me you won't say anything."

"But they'll be so happy --"

"Junhong." She raised her voice, "don't say anything."

Zelo wanted nothing more than his sister to be a part of his life, but he also couldn't lie to his brothers. Choosing between them or her was always a hard thing to do.

"Tell me why. You have to explain yourself."

Zelo couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it. "Why can't you just come home? Don't you trust we will keep it a secret?"

MJ huffed, "what did I just say? If I come home then they will come after you. All of you. Just being in the same room as you is putting your life at risk."

Zelo reached out holding onto her hand, "but we can figure this out together. Don't you want to come home? Be with your family?"

MJ looked down at their hands. "You really think I don't want too. If you were in my shoes you'd do the same thing." She looked up into his eyes, "you know we'd give up our own happiness for each other."

Zelo didn't know what to say knowing that it was true. It didn't matter to them if their own happiness was distroyed if it meant making the other person happy.

"Please, just promise me that you won't say anything."

"Then you can't run away again. You can't leave me." Zelo said quickly

MJ held onto Zelo's hand tightly.

Zelo finally came home as he entered he was meeted by Yongguk sitting in the living room. "Where have you been?" Yongguk asked

Zelo shrugged, "out."

Yongguk couldn't help but stare at the fresh bandages on his wounds. "out? Where?"

"Why do you want to know? Since when do I have to tell you exactly where I am?" Zelo shook his head and began to walk towards his room

"I know that you didn't have a job today. So what happened to your face?"

Zelo paused and looked back at Yongguk, "Why does it all of a sudden matter to you? You stopped caring weeks after MJ's death. It went back to you ignoring me like you did when I was adpoted. You ignored all of us. Yeah, MJ she was your responsiblity, like I was MJ's reponsibility - but you.. You are our leader."

"Zelo." Yongguk stood up

"What?" Zelo

Yongguk didn't know what to say. Zelo wondered into his room.

---

Yongguk didn't want to deal with anymore drama. He didn't know what Zelo was going through and clearly Zelo didn't want to talk about it. The only place inthe world where Yongguk could go to let go of his troubles and be able to think clearly.

He pulled up in the drive way of a national park and made his way through the wooded area. After a small hike up the trail, he found himself in the playground - the playground where she loved to go, where he was with her last.

The sun settled passed the tall trees and it was becoming dark. The time was 7:45pm, the park was beginning to quiet down for the night. Not much people were around, except for a group of teenages, this small ground of people who looked like they were packing up from a photoshoot they just did. Seeing a few of the girls dressed up in a couple of cosplay costumes. And the only other person at this park was a girl who sat on the swings.

During the day people enjoyed coming to this park. It was serene, quiet but full of life. It wasn't like city parks: loud, the endless amounts of sounds coming from left and right, the crazy amounts of people who also were rude at times. This park was the reason why she loved coming here to get away from all of that - being around friendly people who will start up a conversation with you just to see how your day is going. It was their get away from real life and to take a moment for themselves and enjoy what life has to offer.

Yongguk headed over to the swings. He's eyes glanced upon the girl who sat on the one of the swings. She wore all black including the Dr. Martens on her feet. A black baseball cap covered her eyes and the only thing that stuck out from her outfit was the bright yellow earbuds she had.

She kicked the gravel beneath her feet. Yongguk couldn't help but think about MJ and how this girl who sat in front of him resembled her, which tugged at his heart.

He sat a swing away from her just to give eachother space. Yongguk began to push himself lightly back and forth watching his surroundings. Even the group of loud teenangers were beginning to leave. It was to the point to where even if the city was still lit up by the sun, the darkness was beginning to engulf the park.

Yongguk glanced over at the girl who sat quietly. He began to wonder why she wasn't leaving, wondered if she was meeting someone, or just alone. He thought it was strange that she was coming to this park alone, but then again he was alone too.

Something in the gravel beneath her feet caught her attention and went to pick it up. Glancing over to see what was in her hand was a bullet casing.

Yongguk looked away staring out in front of him. He only had one recollection of guns being fired off here. Another thought crossed his mind and maybe someone with a gun was doing some target practice.

"5 years ago there was a shooting out here." Yongguk didn't exactly know why he said that outloud. There was something about talking to a stranger comforted him. It was better than talking to people he knew.

The girls head turned slightly towards him, but he still couldn't get a look at her face.

"No body was found and no one was reported with gun shot wounds at the hospital." He contiuned

The girl took a deep breath, letting out a small chuckle. "Maybe it was ghosts. These woods could be haunted you know."

Yongguk looked at her and she bit her bottom lip like she shouldn't have said that. She tossed the shell casing to him, which he caught.

"I should go." She said

Before she could get up, "do you come here often?" Yongguk asked trying to spark up a conversation

"Not anymore." She answered

"Me too. I use to love coming here." He said lowly

She again took another deep breath, "what made you stop?"

Yongguk stared up and could see the moon peaking through the indigo sky. "My best friend. When we were kids we found this place together. No one else really knew about it. She was moving to a different school and we'd come to this park only because it was between the school that I went too and the school she went to in the city."

"Did your friendship end?"

A chuckle slipped from Yongguk's lips, "if only. I'd rather have our friendship end and have her living, then have our friendship and having her die."

It fell silent between them.

"I'm sorry." She said quietly

"It you know.. Having the person you love die on you and not telling them how you felt." Yongguk lowered his head

Finally saying it out loud made Yongguk feel like a weight was lifted off his chest. He didn't exactly know why he said it to a stranger, but coming to the park someone is always there to listen.

"Thanks for listening. You should get home soon before the ghosts take you." Yongguk got up

"I'm not afraid of ghosts. People like you and me are what we should be afraid of." Yongguk paused. She stood up stuffing her hands into her hoody pockets and beginning to walk away.

Yongguk pulled his pistol out from his holster under his jacket pointing it at the girl. She froze. Yongguk came towards her holding the gun to the back of her head. "Who are you?"

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." She rose her hands up slowly

"How do you know that saying?" Yongguk asked

No one in his field of work, or who he has come across has ever said that. There was only one person ever who refers to them as monsters.

"Are you one of her fans? That's why you know that saying? Are you trying to be like her?" Yongguk asked

The girl spung around quickly knocking the gun out of his hands and into hers. She pointed the gun at him, still with her hat covering her face. Yongguk stared in confusion. No one could ever take a gun out of his hands unless they knew his weak spots, which she knew. When he was younger his hurt his wrist, and if ever pressure hit that point of his wrist, his grip is lessened.

He clenched onto his jaw tightly, "who are you?"

The girl backed up slowly and didn't say a word. She began to take apart the gun - stuffing the clip into her back pocket. She dropped the pieces one by one to the ground and rose her hands up.

"I don't want to fight you. If I wanted to shot you I would of already." She said, "please don't come after me."

Yongguk gripped his hands tightly. She didn't do anything wrong to him, and he was the one who pulled the gun out. He took a deep breath. She took that as a sign and began to run.
