Yunho held onto the forearm of the elder. “Sir” He softly called for him but did not receive any response. “Sir” He repeated, tightening his hold, just a little more to force the elder to finally look or at least react to Yunho.

“My wife and daughter are dead” Pain shot out of every word from his mouth. “Then why did I think they were my family?” He referred to Lisa and her mother, “Who are they? Why are they living in place of my actual family?”

“Sir..”

“How come I forgot my own family?!”

“That is what I have been questioning myself all this time” Changmin finally spoke standing behind them. “You forgot your own family. How on earth is that possible?”

Tears that were held back were now let free as emotions began to take control of the elder’s mind. He had a wife and a daughter, both beautiful and loving, whom he threw away and brought another man’s wife and daughter as his own. He was ashamed of himself but what wrecked his brain was how he did it. All these years he had lived with them and they had behaved like they were his family. All the money he spent for the designer clothes, especially the things he bought for his ‘daughter’ were actually not for his daughter!

“Whatever this is, I will get to the bottom of this. You two” He looked at TVXQ, “Please keep this to yourself”

“We will” Yunho chorused. “Anything that is related to the both of them has never left these four walls sir”

“Good” The elder smiled. “Now, if there are any more left, can I have another piece of my daughter’s favourite cheesecake?”

Changmin smiled. He loved what he had heard. And for the first time in Yunho’s life he saw Changmin share something he loved – something that his favourite little girl loved, with someone else bearing a smile that Yunho had never seen before.

Either one – the world is about to end, or two – the world is about to turn into a better place.

Convincing that it was the latter, Yunho leaned back and took a look at the photo of the little girl in baby Changmin’s arms, the very girl whose name he had finally learnt today.

A name which oddly gave a familiar feel to him

Reya

“Do remind me why you are dragging me to this Gala?” Heechul grunted, “I just landed Yeon”

“Today is their death anniversary oppa, and the hospital is hosting a fundraiser”

“So what? You are donating money?”

“Yes”

Heechul snorted. “Really? When did you turn into a saint?”

“It’s not my money anyways. I’m merely using that man’s money”

Heechul shook his head. “And what if he learns about this? And figures out who his actual wife is?”

“I think he already has”

“What?”

Lisa dropped her shoulders and adjusted the hem of her evening dress. “Eomma is freaking out that he is getting distant from her. But I don’t care. I’m sick of doing things for her advantage. I just want Jaejoong oppa as mine. He’s earning a lot oppa, I’m sure I can live in luxury with his money”

Heechul looked at her unbelievably. “What happened to the girl who cured me from my accident?”

Lisa snorted. “You were the easiest part to reach to Jaejoong oppa so I saved you. And I swear if you speak again about my family I swear I’ll make you lose your mind!” She threatened Heechul, “You know that I CAN do it”

His anger now shot up but he restrained himself from speaking back. Taking in a deep breath Heechul pressed the ‘up arrow’ button at the elevator entrance.. “Let’s just get this done and meet Jaejoong tomorrow as planned.”

“I see that you like my plan”

“It’s not like have any other option now do I?” Heechul shot back, successfully hiding the fact that he ‘knew’ Reya. That he supported her against their engagement because he wanted to find Reya.

Lisa only smirked. “Now don’t look all grumpy. We’ve got a Gala to attend to”

The last thing Reya had in mind was to have Jaejoong carry her away. The small of her back was pressed over his stomach, the fabric of his custom made blazer pressed over her bare skin. Jaejoong expected her to fight her way from his hold but much to his surprise she didn’t, save for the shocking gasp she let out when her drink spilled.

He stopped once he was in the emergency exit stairs. “Not a good position to put me down when I can jolly well run down the stairs Kim” Reya boastfully declared.

“Now that is what I consider a pathetic attempt to hide the fact that you liked me carry you” He retorted with equal smug as her.

Reya turned now standing at the edge of the step. Only in the next second she was pulled further in.

“Gotta be careful now, don’t we?” Jaejoong smirked

“Your stupidity to put me down by the stairs” She shot back mimicking his smirk

If one could describe what they had in their past lives, anyone would use two words, two deadly four letter words that forever drove people crazy – Love and Lust. One could feel the desire spiraling between the two by just standing in the same room with the both of them. It was magnetic – what they had, strong and unfortunately short-lived. Those deadly two words actually lived to their expectations and got the both of them dead.

But alas! They are here, back again standing opposite to one another, alive just for the other person. The magnetism between them was so strong that it brought them back to where they belong – together.
