Wait for me Tiffany! 

Before the church door opens, I took big leaped from the church foyer and 

I grabbed her arm 

She was surprised -- no she was shocked to see me 

"Taeyeon--what? What are you doing?" 

I was panting and I've tried to catch my breath before speaking

" 5 seconds fany.. just give me.." 

The organizers and few people around us were whispering among themselves but I don't care. 

"Tiffany i'm sorry I took so long but I just want to tell you how much I love you and I'm going to regret not stopping you from marrying someone else that is not me." 

I looked at her expecting.. and she was just staring at me. Confusion, doubt, and surprise in her eyes. 

"What are you saying tae...it's too late." 

I was hurt.. but it's understandable

But I won't give up 

...10 seconds....

"Excuse me miss but the wedding is already starting. We have to open this now.." 

The organizer told us, but I don't care

"Taeyeon, I have to go now." Tiffany tapped my shoulders and tried to breakfree from my hold. 

"Fany please be with me..." I pleaded, my hands getting clammy from nervousness and possible failure and humiliation 

The brunette looked conflicted, confused and scared.It's like she can't believe that I'm stopping her wedding and that I've gone crazy.

I'm starting to get nervous and lose hope 

"Why are you doing this Tae.." 

...5 seconds...

And then 

brklkkkkk

A car stopped behind us 

All the people outside turned to look at it.

The window opened and it revealed Sooyoung with sunglasses on 

"Come on!!" 

No more thinking 

I grabbed Tiffany's hand again

"Fany I love you, please be mine today and forever?" 

She looked at me surprised again with the turn of events 

"come on let's go" she didn't said anything or showed any sign of disapproval 

I led her quickly to the backseat 

"Miss hwang!! Where are you going???"

"Miss hwang!" 

The organizer and staffs tried to ran after us but Sooyoung quickly maneuvered the car away from the church. 

We saw from the side mirror that the church door opened and Tiffany's groom look so shocked that her bride ran away. I smiled in victory.

"Fany?" 

Sooyoung has been driving for the past 30 mins already and Tiffany hasn't said a word since. 

"I'm sorry I have to do this...I can't live knowing that you're not mine. This is the only chance I had and the only way I know." 

The woman beside me took a deep breath and gave me a smile

That smile assured me that she also wants this 

"You're an idiot you know that?" 

I chuckled. Sooyoung looked at us on the rearview mirror 

"Ahh finally, our hardwork paid off." 

"I knew it. I knew Taeyeon wouldn't dare to do this idea if only you didn't suggest it." 

"It's worth it right? That's more important." 

I chuckled. Thank you Sooyoung 

"You haven't answered my question earlier.."

"What question?" 

"I said can you be mine today and forever?" 

Tiffany laughed 

That angelic laugh I can listen to forever

"I wouldn't be here in this car beside you if it's a no right?" 

Let the band play out

As I'm making my way home again

Glorious we transcend

Into a psychedelic silhouette

We only have one life in this world

No rewind, no undo, no reverse button that we can click whenever we wants to. 

Looking back on my life I can say I've been through so much, so many challenges I have overcome. Many mistakes and regrets that sometimes I think about . 

Do I wish that we have that reverse button? 

No. 

What I've been through made me who I am today. Those mistakes and regrets, I've come to accept them and take the lessons it taught me. 

But there's one mistake that I thought I would regret 

But ended up giving me my salvation in this world full of regrets, and pain. 

An arm wrapped around me stopped me from my musings

"What are you thinking my love?" 

I smiled.

Yes she is my salvation - my love - my happy ending. 

"I was thinking what were your reason that day when you called me up just to give me your wedding invitation." 

Tiffany's forehead wrinkled in confusion 

"What? I did that?" 

I was surprised with what she said. 

"Yes! Don't tell me you forgot about it!" 

She laughed 

"I felt like the world crashed on me that day. And you purposely did it so you can hurt me more." 

"Maybe I did it on purpose but hey look who did I married?" 

I snickered 

"What if I didn't showed up and just let you go?" 

"Then it is what it is. Maybe we weren't destined to be together." 

But I did showed up. We are meant to be. 

Despite every tears I shed and pain I've felt, It was all worth it. 

"This girl...be thankful I love you." 

She smiled and gave me that thousand watt smile that lights up my world. 

"Thank you and I love you...but let's not forget Sooyoung who pushed you in doing that. If it's not for her I know you won't be there." 

"Ugh that shikshin. I owed her big time." 

We both shared more laughters while watching the sun set from our balcony. 

To destiny, fate, God or whatever you call it 

Thank you. 

Thank you for making everything worth it. 

Thank you for leading me back to her. 

Thank you for giving me my Salvation....

It's been almost 2 years, and now I've finally completed this short story of mine. It was never my intention to give a happy ending on this story because I never gotten a happy ending in real life. She's now happily married and her daughter is named after me. (I'd like to believe she was named after me. Cause I remember before how much she likes my name. My name only I guess lol) Thank you to everyone who took their time to read this.
