It was the weekend of the third week of quarantine and the two were currently cuddled up on the sofa watching Superman Returns with a tub of vanilla ice-cream. Correction, Seung-Ho was watching Superman Returns whilst So-Hyun was finishing off the remainder of her notes from Supervision with Counsellor Jin-Ah and he was feeding her a spoonful of ice cream from time to time.

“So-Hyun-ah” So-Hyun opened in anticipation of another spoon, her eyes still glued to her laptop screen. He proceeded to feed her before asking her a question, “Should we try for a baby?”

So-Hyun almost choked. Good thing the ice-cream was melting down otherwise she might not have made it. Seung-Ho quickly dropped the container of ice-cream and rubbed her back for support. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, err what did you say? Should we what?” She asked as she reached for the bottle of water on the side table.

Seung-Ho looked at her sheepishly, thinking that he could’ve brought up the topic in a different way and maybe at a different time.

“I’ve been thinking how nice it would be for us to, you know… Have one of us.”

So-Hyun could only look at him with wide eyes, half touched half surprised at the topic at hand. She didn’t know what to say as this wasn’t something that they’d broached on.

“I… uh…” She mumbled.

“It doesn’t have to be straight away!” Seung-Ho fixed, “I’m just saying that it would be nice to think about.”

“R-right.” She gulped.
