Ever EnoughAs cheesy as it might sound, Huisoo came to like being around Jongin’s siblings. Just like how day by day she would drop by the house to look after them or just to check if everyone was fine— finally had its effect on her. And how from time to time she grew up hearing ‘I'm hungry’ from them.
Well, she liked finding new truths about how mature Sejong actually was although his words did not speak well. She loved how Inhwa would throw herself into her embrace everytime she stepped inside the house and complaint about her day at school or how difficult her homework was no matter how many times she tried to solve it.
As for Jongshin, although he was labelled as a walking travesty by Jongin, due to his troublesome and reckless behaviour that often made his own self doomed— Jongshin was a deep guy whom she liked talking to. Well, although still, even in his best behaviour, he somehow managed to get himself into trouble.
Before now, he failed university selection for twice that Jongin—with Minseok’s help should work harder to get a university that would willingly accept him.
Not long ago, he ran into two groups of student who were having a brawl on the street. And the most recent one was him—arrested by the police for car speeding in the night. And many other disasters that shouldn’t be mentioned here.
For those troubles he caused, Jongin should get his hands dirty to discharge his brother out from police station. But it had been a quiet months now since Jongin kept threatening to send him to their mother in Tokyo if he was to cause trouble again.
“High school looks so much better on tv.” Throwing his ballpoint over the table, Sejong sarcastically snorted. He and his sister were currently doing their homework in the tv room with Huisoo who decided to help them out while peeling the fruits for them.
Inhwa laughed, but nodded in agreement.
“Look, they spend more time in the hallway than in the classroom. I am jealous.” She whined.
Huisoo chuckled a bit. She had no intention to in. As she grew closer and closer to them, hearing them complain was her main course everyday.
“All they do is fighting for boys or girls and picking on one another. While me, I am so busy and I have so much to do with little motivation.” She continued.
The eldest exhaled before shoving a plateful of fruit toward them, “Here, eat this first.”
“Unnie, did you do well in your school years?” Inhwa asked her.
She pretended that it was a hard question by making such thinking posture. Interested, Sejong also shifted his gaze at her.
“Hmm,” She started, “Enough to break through Korea University entrance test?” She responded, not wanting to sound like bragging.
Inhwa perked her head, having a handful of apple inside .
“If you were good, why didn’t you try going to Hanyang or Seoul National? Their Medical faculties are good.” She tried to sound mature.
Sejong then poked her cheek playfully.
“YaH, because it’s in Seongbuk-gu! It’s nearer.” He yelled at his sister.
Inhwa shrank. “Ah, maybe right.”
Huisoo could not say anything except giggling upon their cute behaviour. Both were trying to sound more mature from another. What a sight to see.
“Kids!” It was Jongshin’s voice from outside, “Jongin Hyung is home!”

Jongin had not been sleeping in the house for a week when he decided that it was time to go home. The board meeting would be in two days ahead, and he suddenly got super busy to even pick phone calls, including her calls. So, everything she could do best was to text him that she came and left food boxes on his secretary desk.
Jongin would only dropped by to pick clothes or eat dinner sometimes, like tonight. Finding Huisoo with his siblings was slightly giving him assurance that nothing was worth worrying if he left them to her. At least one less thing to worry about. And at least his mother would not accuse him for abandoning his siblings when she was away. He hoped he could count on Huisoo for that.
As he made his way into the house, Huisoo kept looking at his figure. Her eyes secured the sight before her exclusively to capture any wrong orientation from him. Nothing much changed, and he still wore that weary eyes but composed face to everywhere he goes. There was something new, though. There was a hint of insecurity there.
Perhaps, things were getting pretty serious in the company. She wanted to know and she was ready to listen again, but for something that she did not know, she was telling herself that this time, just this time, it was wiser not to ask.
She was already thankful to see him, though. He and his offhanded remarks. Oh, how many days had she spent without his wits again? She had no idea.
“Do you want to take a warm shower? I’ll ask Ahjumma to prepare it.” She followed him upstairs.
She walked next to him while waiting for him to respond when she realized that they had reached his bedroom. She stopped at the door, knowing he would not be too happy if she barged in rudely.
“No, I’ll be fine.”
I’ll be fine he said. She had been hearing the same words for some time now. She did not believe it, but she also did not want to delve in deeper.
“Alright then.” She stepped backward.
After she left, Jongin threw his body o
