Baby's Breath
Ever Enough“You can just say you want to see me, then I’ll accept it with sincere heart.” Huisoo sneered, still not over the fact that he abused the GPS application to track her all the way to the chicken shop. Really, it just didn’t look like him.
He grunted, hitting on the steering wheel, “I seriously asked Hyoyeon Noona to fix the tie but it seemed like she couldn’t find the knot. What did you do actually?”
She giggled like a teenage girl. She stretched a hand toward his cheek, pinching it tenderly and sang, “You are so easy to piss~ ”
“Shut up.” He shoved her hand off. He hated being tamed like little boy. He is a filthy rich grown-up and handsome genius man, not a pet. He was not supposed to let someone abuse his glorious face. No, not even Huisoo.
Huisoo sneered at him again.
“Look at you, you are as sensitive as a PMS girl.” She went all the way until his glare stopped her. She chuckled and looked outside the window.
Without she even realized, he had pulled into a small coffee shop not far until they reach the outskirt of town. She did not need to question what would they do here because it was pretty clear. According to him, they would have to drive about thirty five kilometers from Seoul to reach his father’s grave somewhere in Paju hills. If it was that far, then he might need little supplies.
She followed him inside the coffee shop. She sat herself onto a brown huge pouf near the entrance and let him do his business himself. She was not particularly in thirst, though. So she sat quietly while whipping her thumb around the surface of her mobile phone.
It took him at least ten minutes to wait the order, and came back with a coffee carriage which contained two cups of dark liquid. She was about to stand up when he called out.
“Excuse me.” He spoke to the person right in front of him. A woman, though, and she was struggling hard to open the exit door.
Huisoo joined the scene by turning to see what’s happening.
She saw a slim-waisted woman who was probably taller than she was. She wore a full autumn knitted dress and a Furla handbag, oh, not forget the furry scarf that was wrapping her neck. Huisoo’s eyes scanned her lower figure, she had a pair of beautiful red pumps on her fair feet.
From what she saw, apparently, the door got stuck, and it created this weird noise because the woman kept on pushing the door frantically.
Quietly, Jongin and Huisoo shared a look.
“Miss?” He called out, causing the lady to turn her head.
The lady stared at the jaw-dropping sight before her eyes for two seconds before he snapped her out to the earth. Well, yeah, Jongin had this ability to look very good at any occassion that people would space out only to wonder if there was really someone as breath-taking as Jongin in reality. But, no, that way won’t do because he quickly shot another sentence which brought the lady to hit the earth back.
“The door says PULL, and you’re obviously not doing that.” Jongin said with this look that Huisoo even thought if she was the woman, she swore he needed a punch or two.
Huisoo shifted her gaze to the woman. As much as she did not want to make her more of a fool, she could not seal the small giggles that were ready to erupted due to the awkwardness of the scene before her eyes. She could not stand not to let it out, but then she quickly covered when the woman glanced at her.
Embarassed, the woman carelessly bowed to Jongin and pulled the door before taking long strides outside.
Huisoo and Jongin watched the woman’s back disappeared into the sea of people outside for another second before she spoke.
“You are so mean.” Said Huisoo while shaking her head. Deep inside, she was sorry for laughing at her.
“Excuse me? The one who laughed at her was you.” He retorted.
“You made me laugh. There is a difference.” She snickered, still not over the previous incident.
He scoffed and motioned her to proceed outside. Out of blue, he spoke.
“Don’t do that.”
“Don’t do what?” She looked at him.
Using his chin, Jongin pointed the direction where the earlier woman disappeared. “Don’t be too dumb. I have problem with dumb girls.”
At this statement, she scoffed violently.
“Well, that girl earlier was perfect. She dressed nicely and brushed her hair neatly. Moreover she was pretty.” He remarked, already pulling out of the parking lot. “Tch, she even had curve.” He added, shaking his head.
He kept saying things about her but Huisoo had no word to say. suddenly felt like drying. She had never been in that kind of situation, where a man praised another girl when he was with her. Secretly, she glanced down to check her own appearance.
“But what’s pretty when you’re useless,” He lightly said. Helpless woman he hated.
Huisoo glanced at him to see his expression. Well, personally, she was quite contented by his last comment although at first she was not so glad to hear Jongin—complimenting the woman he barely knew. But, yeah, he was forgiven.

“You stay here.” Jongin ordered.
Her expression fell in an instant. If he was going to make her stay inside the car, why did he bother taking her all the way here?
With an unpredictable expression, she checked her surrounding. The car was parked right at the foothills. Near the car was the hill already, and there was only one small path to reach the top. Also, she wouldn’t forget that there was only one way asphalt road o
