Author's Pov.

First day of school as a Junior could make anyone feel as if it is surreal. It is the year where many changes take place. The fact that there's just one more year to go until you graduate, means a whole lot of things. It may feel like it was just yesterday when many of us were such small and naive freshmens. I mean for Yoo Sujin, it feels exactly like that. The times have passed by quickly, indeed.

Through Sujin's 16 years of living in this world, she has never, and I repeat never had a boyfriend. 

Yoo Sujin has spent her entire years trying to fetch herself a boyfriend but to her luck she has failed multiple times. The teasing of her close friends has made her determined to shut them up by finally proving to them that she could, indeed, get herself a boyfriend. Which is why, she made it her resolution to get a boyfriend and not fail this school year. She obviously can't be looking dumb and missing out on dates, if she wants to succeed on being the perfect and ideal girlfriend. Unfortunately, school has never been Sujin's friend.

"Yah! Sujin! Get down here! Your friends are waiting for you, you bum!" Sujin's cousin, Minah shouted hard enough to wake Sujin up from falling asleep.

"Shhh...Is it necessary to call me that early in the morning, you wench!" she retorted back, laughing as she heard her cousin yelp in pain after being smacked by her mother.

"Alright, I'm done" Sujin began to rejoice while making her way down the stairs.

"Oww! Why'd you do that for?" she suddenly asked in surprise. "What? Did you think I wouldn't hit you too?" her mother questioned, giving her the death glare. "Now hurry up, they're waiting for you!"

"Yes mother" she responded while glaring at her cousin who was laughing like she was about to choke on her cereal. 

As Sujin made her way out of the door, she saw her friends trying so hard not to laugh. "Shut up and don't say anything" she walked right past them.

Ever since summer, there have been rumors going around about a young, smart, and handsome teacher applying to their school this year. I mean let's all be honest here, their school is known to be the most dumbest and outrageous school, even Sujin doubts anyone would want to apply there. Well, the smart ones wouldn't.

Heading towards the entrance, three handsome boys began to make their way ahead of them. Each one of Sujin's friends had googly eyes at the sight of them. "Yah! You're going to turn cross-eyed, if you keep looking at them like that" she warned them. But as always they ignored her.

"Look! Doesn't the guy in between the two, have a big ?" Hana, one of Sujin's good friends giggled as she signaled them to him. "Woah! He really does" they all said in sync. But for some reason he seemed to have a much built and mature body. Sujin's not an expert in male bodies but it sure did seem so to her. Maybe a senior? she thought to herself.

Snapping back to reality, she found her friends making smacking actions at the back of the poor guy. Needless to say that they were only four feet away from him. "Are you crazy? What if other people see us, then they're really going to think we're erted" Sujin whispered to them, while yanking Jia by the sleeve.

Sujin couldn't help but laugh when she saw her other friend, Kara make a pose as if she was riding a horse behind him. To join in the fun, she began to roleplay as if she was squeezing his . Her friends began to laugh even harder at her silly attempt.

"Look at the time, we're late" Hana exclaimed. "Aish, and even though we arrived early" Jia responded. "Let's hurry, we still have enough time to make it to the entrance ceremony"

Sneaking their way into the gym, they found four extra seats in the back. "Look! They left four seats here like they knew we were going to be late" Sujin said, making all of them laugh.

Unknowingly, they slept throughout the whole ceremony as it went by. As soon as they announced the incoming new juniors, the whole audience began to applaud. The noise awoke one of the ditsy girls, who were deep in slumber. Just as Kara noticed the principal standing right in front of her, she sheepishly smiled at her while smacking her friend's arm. 

"Yah! Wake up!" she spoke through her teeth. 

One by one they began to wake up and rub their eyelids softly. 

"Well, aren't you guys having the time of your lives?" the principal angrily glanced at each of them as she rambled on and on. "You guys think it's ok to be sleeping in here? Don't you guys know the money your parents are paying in order for you guys to attend this school?" 

"The last time I checked this school isn't that great" Jia retorted, earning glares from her friends. "Yah are you crazy?" Sujin whispered to her. 

"Do you guys want to go to detention?"

"Woah! Woah! Woah! You mean just Jia right?" Kara desperately asked. 

"All of You!" 

"Yeah, well it's my dream!" Jia responded while keeping a strong front. "That does it! All of you have detention today directly after school! If any one of you guys are late, expect something worse!" she yelled, just loud enough for them to hear. Way-to-go looks were sent straight to Jia as she shrugged her shoulders in response.

Heading to their destined classes, Sujin and Hana were busy searching for class 3A. On the other hand, Kara and Jia were put into class 3B. As they slid the door open, they found a fairly tall, yet handsome man near the board. 

"And who may you girls be?" the unknown man questioned. The two giddy girls began to giggle to themselves as they slightly lost sense of where they were. "Oh right" they coughed. "We're Kang Hana and Park Sujin"

"Well you guys can take a seat at the far back" he motioned them. "Oh and my name is Mr. Jung, I will be your new homeroom, math, and history teacher starting from today"

"What a pretty surname" Hana accidently blurted out. Loud enough for everyone to hear. Everyone laughed as she hid her rosy cheeks with her bookbag. Walking past the students, Sujin couldn't help but notice all the gooey eyes glued onto every female.  

Eww... she thought to herself while laughing. 

Classes went by normally. The entire class was spent doing introductions and learning the new rules that were set upon by Mr. Jung. As usual, the bell rang to indicate that lunch was now proceeding. 

The girls all stayed in homeroom to offer Mr. Jung lunch. Waiting for Hana to retrieve her lunch bag, Sujin patiently waited by the doorframe. Curiously, she watched the lust the teacher had on his eyes. They were desiring something. Maybe a girl? No way Sujin thought. Finally meeting where his eyes were staring, she found out that his eyes were desiring not a student but food. 

Stupid Sujin. Why would Mr. Jung go after a student she chuckled to herself while shaking her head multiple times. "Yah are you ready" Hana poked Sujin's head, interrupting her self-conversation she had going on. 

After lunch, the classes resumed as expected. Throughout their classes, they met their other teachers. Some seemed cranky while the others seemed nice enough to take advantange of. Or so the class thought. Soon enough their stressful day had ended. Except that they had to head directly to detention. Every year a different teacher was assigned to watch over the detention room. If some were lucky, they got the nice and easy teachers. If they got the opposite, only hell was awaiting them.

Right when they entered Room 312 also known as Hell, the four girls roughly made their way into the room. Reverting their gazes back to each other they found out that they were the only ones from today that received detention. 

"Oh well, at least we have the entire room for ourselves" Jia cheered. "If it wasn't for you, we could've enjoyed the rest of our day at home" Kara retorted, obviously still angry that she got detention on her first day back to school. "Hey! at least, now you have something interesting to tell your children later on in your life" she smirked right at her.

"Shut up"

"Really?!" a distant voice was heard from the back of the door. This instantly caught the attention of the clueless girls. They quickly ran to the door and leaned their heads hoping to hear who the mysterious voice belonged to. Just as the door opened, they girls were pushed against the door.

"Oww" Kara groaned while the other girls were rubbing their backs. The mysterious voice apologized as it made its figure visible.

"Oh! It's Mr. Jung! Hi! It's me Hana! Remember!" she yelled excitedly. "I think he knows" Sujin reassured her. 

"Yeah I do" Mr. Jung chuckled at her silliness.

"So, I heard you guys got detention... On your first day back to school?" Mr. Jung curiously asked them. He settled himself on his desk as he waited for a response. "What? Did you guys anger the principal off or something" he began to chuckle. 

"Yeah....something like that" Hana responded.

"You're still getting your self into trouble Sujin-ah?" Mr. Jung ruffled her hair. This sudden contact shocked her friends who were quietly observing the situation. In a situation like this, it is likely to think that Mr. Jung is a ert. Or he could just be someone who tended to be too friendly.

"Uh..come by again?" Sujin wondered while eyeing Mr. Jung suspiciously. The fact that he said her name as if they've known each other for a long time, confused her even more.

"Ohh come on! I thought by now you'd figure out who I am?" Mr. Jung closely leaned down in order for her to take a good look at him. Well, he does look familiar. But where? 

Diary. Chocolates. Bears. Letters. Love.

"Jung Daehyun?" Sujin uttered, finally realizing who he was.
