Nayoung felt her back ache slightly as she stretched her arms. She opened her eyes and noticed that the flat screen TV was already switched off.
She blinked.
“…Zelo?” She called out as she sat up. She checked the time on her watch.
“Oh, you’re up.” Youngjae sauntered in the living room.
“Where are the others?”
“Went out to buy food.”
Youngjae plopped beside her.
“Na….what’s bothering you?”
“I’m…tired.” She replied.
“Myungsoo?”
“Not just him…me too. I…told him we needed a break from each other.”
“You still love him.” Youngjae stated.
“I….dont know Youngjae.”
“Na-”
Nayoung stood up.
“I think I need to go. Oppa will be looking for me sooner or later.”
“At least have dinner with us, Na.”
Daehyun walked in the room.
“Thanks but, I need to go.” She gave Youngjae a quick hug before grabbing her purse. She was about to head for the door, but Daehyun caught her arm.
Daehyun’s POV
Nayoung looked at me questioningly.
“I’ll drive you home.” I said to her. She seem to relax and she gave me a nod.
Youngjae looked at me.
“Let’s go.”
We were on our way to the car, when Nayoung decided to talk,
“I….keep on thinking,”
I looked at her.
“I feel like it would be better….if…I tell Myungsoo that..we should break up.”
“Are you sure?” I asked. She shrugged and pursed her lips.
“Its getting hard for the both of us. And I don’t want him hurting because of me.”
“And you think he won’t get hurt if you break up with him?”
“He will be at least…it wont…be prolonged rather than just..being like this right now. Not knowing where we both stand.”
I nodded. Somehow, she’s right.
But why would she let go if she really loves him?
“I know what you’re thinking.”
I looked at her.
“I just think it’s better this way, Dae.”
“So, it’s Dae now?”
She smiled lightly as we reached the car.
“It’s sounds…cool and kick .”
I rolled my eyes at her.
Shim Nayoung, I don’t know how to keep distance from you anymore.

Myungsoo pulled over at the parking lot and parked his car near the entrance.
“Hey L, have you heard?” A guy called over. Myungsoo looked at him.
“It’s Nayoung!” Another girl called.
“What about her?” Myungsoo asked, masking all his emotions.
“Oh you didn’t hear? It’s all over the campus!”
Myungsoo shook his head, then a girl shoved a piece of paper right in front of him.
Myungsoo’s eyes widened, then his jaw twitched. He shook his head as he stormed towards the entrance.
Nayoung was making her way to her first class when suddenly someone pulled her.
“Ya, what- Daehyun?” She looked up.
“Nothing’s wrong?” Daehyun asked her.
“I’m fine. Wae? Did something-”
Daehyun shook his head.
“So..you have not yet heard of anything?”
“Eobseo.” Nayoung shook her head. Daehyun sighed and let her go.
“Why? Is something-”
“Nayoung-ah.” A voice joined them, Nayoung looked up. Myungsoo was looking at her.
“I’ll see you later.” Daehyun muttered before heading off.
“Myungsoo.” Nayoung said as L walked to her.
“Is this why you said you wanted some time away from each other?”
“What?”
“Don’t lie to me, Na. You wanted out because you found you new one!” Myungsoo hissed. Some of the students who were passing were looking at them.
“What are you talking about?”
Myungsoo sighed and took out the phot of her leaning on Daehyun’s shoulder.
“…Myungsoo…no..we were…I was..”
“Stop reasoning Na.”
“We were talking and..”
“And what? You just carried away?!”
“Myungsoo let me explain-”
“I don’t get you anymore Na.” He said to her before walking away.
