[Gui Gui’s P.O.V] 

  I hated myself for being the reason for my father’s death . Suddenly, I felt someone hugging me . I looked and saw Aaron . I felt happy . That for the first time he’s there to comfort me . The old Aaron’s back . Aaron pulled out from the hug and he turned around to see Rainie crying . I felt sad for Rainie, but then Aaron ran after her .

I didn’t know if I should feel happy that Aaron went after her or sad because he went after Rainie to comfort her too . I decided to follow them and Wang Zi followed right behind me . I found them sitting on the sand . With their foots sticking and the waves washing their feet . I saw them hugging . I saw Aaron smiling and Rainie crying but she had a smile on her face . I felt tears stinging through my eyes . My heart was being stabbed by millions and millions of needles . But another part of me was happy . Happy to see Aaron happy but with someone else … I guess this is how everything is .

I think Aaron is better off with Rainie . They seem more happy together . I guess this plan was a failure . I know I said I’m never giving up . But I don’t want to shatter Aaron’s happiness . I should just be happy for them .  Wang Zi saw what I saw and he came to me and hugged me tightly . 

Wang Zi: Gui Gui, it’ll be okay . -hugs her- 

Gui Gui: Yeah and I think we should stop all this . 

Wang Zi: If that’s what you want . 

Gui Gui: -nods and more tears start dropping from her eyes- 

Wang Zi: So does this mean you don’t need me anymore ? -sad- 

Gui Gui: I guess its goodbye . 

Wang Zi: No, Gui . I have something important to say . 

Gui Gui: what is it ? 

Wang Zi: I like you . -pauses- No, I love you . 

Gui Gui: -shock- what ?

Wang Zi: I said I love you . I need you . 

Gui Gui: …. ? 

Wang Zi: Can we stop all this pretending and just make it real ? 

I never knew Wang Zi would like me this way . I thought he only thought of me as a friend . Should I accept him ? Maybe I should . I need to move on, on Aaron . We’re not meant for each other . Even though I still love Aaron but he’ll always be in my heart . I’ll try to love Wang Zi . I might never know . Maybe I’ll learn to love him too . 

Gui Gui: Okay . 

Wang Zi: You mean ?! -as a smile slowly appears on his face- 

Gui Gui: Yes, I accept you .

Wang Zi: YES !! Thanks for giving me a chance .. -lifts her from the ground and started to twirl her around- 

Gui Gui: -slight smile- Lets go before we disturb them . 

Wang Zi: okay . -still carrying her- 

Gui Gui: uh, can you put me down ? 

Wang Zi: -ignores her-  I looked at Wang Zi, who had a smile plastered on his face .

I laughed .--- 

[Aaron’s P.O.V] 

  I heard screaming from behind us . I turned around to see Wang Zi carrying Gui Gui walking back to the house .I’m determined to get you back Gui Gui . I’ll do everything . I’ll get you back . 

Rainie: I’ll help you go after her . 

Aaron: Thanks . 

Rainie: Sure . That’s what friends are for ! 

Rainie took all of her courage just to say ’friends’ . It hurt her but she was happy to see Aaron determined to get Gui Gui …
