Mina then ordered her driver to drive them to the nearest clinic. There Chaeyoung got treated.

After Chaeyoung got treated, Mina asked him, "Where do you live? My driver will drive you home!"

Chaeyoung then wrote, 'I live in xxx. Thank you for saving me' and showed it to Mina, avoiding eye contact. Mina took time reading it, as it was in hangeul.

"It's nothing, hihi. Come on, let's get you home!" Mina offered him.

Chaeyoung wrote on his notebook, 'It's okay, I can go home by myself! You have done enough!', then showed it to Mina.

Again, Mina took some time before responding, "Nonsense, We'll get you home, come on!"

So they all got into Mina's limosine.

"My name is Mina, by the way, in case you don't know. I'm from Japan, I just recently moved here." Mina introduced herself.

Chaeyoung then wrote, 'My name is Chaeyoung, I've lived here my whole life' then showed it to Mina.

"Uhm, not to offend you, or anything, but are you, by chance, mute?" Mina asked politely.

Chaeyoung then wrote, 'I am not mute. I have a condition called Selective Mutism.' then showed it to Mina.

"Select Museum... what? That's such a complicated word." Mina commented.

'Basically, I can't speak on some occasions' Chaeyoung explained.

"Oh" Mina acknowledged.

"That is really interesting. Then, on what occasions can you speak?" Mina questioned.

"If you don't mind me asking" Mina quickly added.

Chaeyoung then wrote, 'I don't speak anymore these days. But, I'm not mute.' He showed it to Mina, while looking at the ground and pouted.

"Okay, I believe you. You're not mute" Mina assured.

"Mina-sama, we have arrived." the driver announced in Japanese.

"Chaeyoung, we have arrived." Mina translated.

The two of them got out of the limosine, followed by Mina's bodyguards.

"Your house from the outside looks lovely" Mina complimented.

They ascended the stairs then finally reached a small house, then got inside.

"You don't need to follow us inside!" Mina ordered her bodyguards.

"Hai, Mina-sama" they all answered then descended the stairs.

"Your room is at the top of the building?" Mina asked.

Chaeyoung then wrote, 'For your information. This is a rooftop house. This floor is our house' then showed it to Mina.

Mina was shocked. This is smaller than her room and they call it a house?

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know" Mina apologized.

Chaeyoung unlocked the door, and they entered. They were met with a minimalistic kitchen and dining room rightaway. Chaeyoung then pointed to a set of glasses, signalling whether she wanted to drink or not.

"Oh, yes please, thank you, Chaeyoung." Mina thanked Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung filled the glass with water then handed it to Mina. Then, he pointed to a chair on the dining room, gesturing for Mina to sit. Mina complied, he sat as well. Mina took a gulp.

Chaeyoung then wrote, 'My mom prepared dinner for me. It's in the referigerator, I just need to heat it. We don't have food for a guest' then showed it to Mina.

"Oh, it's okay, Chaeyoung. I can order food online" Mina assured.

Mina then ordered food from her phone. Chaeyoung just looked at Mina in amazement.

"Can I have your phone number, Chaeyoung?" Mina asked Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung wrote, 'I don't have a cellphone' then showed it to Mina, avoiding eye contact.

"Oh, it's okay. Then, while waiting, can I see your room?" Mina changed the topic.

Chaeyoung nodded then led Mina to his room. Chaeyoung's room is simple. There's a desk, where he studies or draws near the window. Then there's a bed. The walls are full of his drawings.

It's the first time for Mina to see such a small room. Her room has to be at least 8x bigger. She has her own walk in closet, a king sized bed all for herself, a bathroom, Smart TV, Xbox, PS 4, wii, her PC, her desk is also way bigger than Chaeyoung's, and she has a lot of space, where she likes to dance ballet sometimes.

"Where do you put your clothes?" Mina asked.

Chaeyoung then guided her to a closet room. It's where him and his mother put their clothes.

"Where's the bathroom?" Mina asked again.

Chaeyoung then led her to the bathroom. Mina opened the door and there's a minimalistic shower, a toilet, a sink and that's it. Her bathroom has to be at least 4x bigger, because she has a bathtub.

Then Mina checked her phone, "The food's arriving, yeay" Mina exclaimed.

Chaeyoung took that as a cue to heat up his food. He took the food out then put it in the microwave.

After awhile, Mina's food finally arrived. Chaeyoung helped Mina get the food for her. Chaeyoung was confused, the driver left as soon as Chaeyoung got the food.

Chaeyoung wrote, 'You don't pay?' then showed it to Mina.

Mina giggled. "I already paid, silly!" Mina answered.

Chaeyoung was still confused, but he just shrugged it off. As if on cue, his microwave made a sound, signalling it's done heating his food. He quickly took it out.

Then they started digging their food. After awhile, they finished. Chaeyoung quickly went to the kitchen sink then washed his plate and his chopsticks. Mina just watched in amazement, usually her maids would wash it for her. Chaeyoung then tidied up Mina's food package, then threw them on the garbage bin outside.

When Chaeyoung got inside, he quickly wrote, 'You should go home! It's late!' then showed it to Mina.

Mina thought and thought, "If I go home now, I will be alone again. Me and Chaeyoung, I have a feeling, we'll get along well. Besides, I'm kind of curious, how can they live in such a place?"

"Hmm, can I stay here tonight, Chaeyoung?" Mina asked him.

Chaeyoung was shocked. He then wrote, 'You need to ask for your parents' permission' then showed it to Mina.

"They won't mind. Trust me!" Mina assured.

Then there was a sound of lock open, then a fairly young woman entered the house.

"Chaengie, why aren't you asleep yet, honey?" the woman asked Chaeyoung.

Then, she went closer to Chaeyoung.

"Chaengie, what happened to your face? Oh My God, honey!" She quickly hugged Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung squirmed from the hug, while looking at Mina's direction.

Then she noticed Mina.

"Oh, hello. Are you Chaeyoung's friend?" the woman asked her.

"Hello, Chaeyoung's mom. My name is Mina. Yes, I am Chaeyoung's friend. We're in the same class. Chaeyoung got bullied today. Luckily, I was there. I told my bodyguards to stop the bullies from bullying him." Mina introduced herself.

"Thank you very much, dear. Well, I hope you and Chaengie can get along well." the woman hoped and thanked Mina.

Mina then smiled.

"Hmm, Mrs. Son, can I stay here tonight?" Mina asked her.

"Eeh(?) What about your parents? They will be worried about you! Do you bring your clothes with you? You have school tomorrow!" the woman reminded.

"By the way, Mina, call me Ms. Park. My name is Park Jihyo. Me and Chaeyoung's father, we aren't married. You can call me Jihyo if you want" the woman explained, she blushed a little from embarrassment.

"Oh I'm sorry" Mina apologized.

"I can call my maid to deliver me my clothes now and my parents won't mind, don't worry!" Mina reassured.

"Well, we have no problem with welcoming a guest!" Jihyo beamed.

Mina then quickly called her maid to deliver her clothes.

"Chaengie, go and take a shower! Then sleep! You have school tomorrow!" Jihyo ordered.

Chaeyoung obeyed, he picked some clothes and towel, then entered the bathroom.

The woman then held Mina's right hand, "I really really thank you, Mina. Not just for saving my son, but also for wanting to become his friend. You are the first ever friend he has. I really really hope, you and Chaengie can get along well. I'm really worried for him. A lot of kids can't understand his condition, as a result he often gets bullied and has no friend. I'm just really worried. Please take care of him at school, Mina!" Jihyo pleaded.

"Don't worry, Ms. Park. I will take care of Chaeyoung. I'm sure, we'll get along well. Who cares if he can't speak? He's still a nice guy" Mina reassured.

"Thank you, Mina" Jihyo thanked Mina.

"Now excuse me, I need to prepare the mattresses" Jihyo then left to her room.

After awhile, Chaeyoung was done showering.

He went to find his notebook and wrote, 'Where's my mom?' then showed it to Mina.

"Oh, she's in that room" Mina answered, pointing at his mother's room.

Chaeyoung then quickly entered his mother's room. Not forgetting to close the door, to make sure Mina doesn't see. As soon as he entered the room, he quickly hugged his mom and cried. His mother returned the hug, while rubbing his head.

"Aww, Chaengie. Do you need me to talk to the principal tomorrow?" his mother asked him.

He shook his head. "I just miss you, mommy" he whispered.

"Aww, Chaengie. I'm here." the woman soothed, while rubbing circles on his back.

Then they heard a knock.

"Yes?" Jihyo questioned.

Mina then entered. Chaeyoung quickly broke off the hug then hid behind his mother, embarrassed that Mina caught him hugging his mom.

"Hm, My clothes have arrived. May I use the bathroom?" Mina politely asked.

"Of course, dear" Jihyo let her.

Then Mina went out to use the bathroom. Jihyo looked at Chaeyoung, with an amused expression.

"Chaengie, are you embarrassed hugging me in front of Mina?" Jihyo teased.

Chaeyoung's face turned beet red. He looked to the ground and pouted.

"Come here" Jihyo opened her arms.

Chaeyoung hugged her mom again. It's just he rarely could hug his mother, lately. His mother woke up early to go to her workplace. By the time his mother went home, he would be asleep already.

"We'll wait for Mina, and then you should sleep, okay?" Jihyo told him, while rubbing circles on his back.

He nodded against his mom's neck. Jihyo then pecked his crown.
