Blind for a month013
We walked into the arcade. I could hear all the games and the people.
"Let's go get some tokens." Said beak. He pulled me to a counter.
"So how many tokens do you want?" Asked a male cashier.
"25 please."
"Okay that will be 5$."
"Here you go."
"And here is your change. What a cute couple." I was about to correct him but beak cut me off.
"Thank you."
"The games that are popular with couples are air hockey, the hurricane machine, and the love meter."
"Love meter?"
"Basically you both put your hands in on ether side hold hands on the inside and it scans it and tells you if you actually love each other. We have had people break up there and people start dating there."
"And where would we find this thing?"
"In the back left, have fun." Beak pulled me down to the love meter.
"Why are we doing this? We're no even dating." I asked.
"Because I said so." He took me hand and put in the machine. When he found my hand he laced his hand in between my fingers. I heard him push the button. Once it was done scan it made a sound. I have no idea what it says.
Beak perspective
I watched it scan. If made a sound and I looked at the screen.
Get married!
Wait it's telling me to get married with her!
"Hey beak what did it say?"
"Umm... T-t-to St-ay frien-d-s." Why am I stuttering!
"It's doesn't say that does it."
"Yes it does." Good no stutter.
"I'll believe you just this once."
"Let's play another game."
"Which one?"
"Basketball?"
"I can't see."
"I'll help you."
"Fine." I dragged her over to the basketball game. I handed her a ball. She held it funny and threw it and it missed.
"Here let me help." I stepped behind her so my chest is right up against her back. I put my hands over her hands.
"Here's how to hold it." I whispered in her ear. I don't know why I was whispering, but I was.
