The MisfitsAbruptly, Christine turned around to Luhan again. He had noticed it as well, but just like her, he couldn't make out what his brother was planning. “I want you all to stay close.” From the corner of his eyes, he saw that Nathanael stared at the right away but his gaze was focused on Hana and not on them. Jealousy and the urge to hiss at Nathanael shot up in Luhan right that instant.
Hana noticed it as well but she didn't dare to turn around. “He's staring at me, right?” Lay didn't dare to nod but his gaze told enough. Nathanael was a dangerous man, a very dangerous man but so was everyone else who belonged to Elijah. He hasn't seen Basil yet but he was sure that the healer was somewhere around. Chanyeol suddenly appeared right beside Hana.
He seemed to be quite miffed, mostly because of his blades but also because a horde of female Vampires had tried to convince him to dance. “Marie, can you get me a drink?” The short girl nodded and disappeared between the Vampires.
“Who are you watching?” Elijah asked Nathanael who seemed to be slightly distracted. He followed the other man's gaze and raised his brow. “A woman? I thought you weren't interested in women.” She was one of Christine's people and since he didn't know Hana's name, he simply named her woman. “She seemed interesting.”
Not that Nathanael didn't have any needs but he wasn't someone who was emotionally attached to someone. The only thing Nathanael was interested in was power. With a smirk, he signed a servant to bring Hana to them. She was more than just surprised as the servant approached her and interrupted her conversation. “His highness wants to see you.” Luhan immediately froze on spot and unrest spread inside him.
Hana didn't know what to say. The fear to meet Luhan's brother was so big that she couldn't even decline. “Your majesty insists.” It seemed like the servant had read her mind. “He wants to see her alone,” he said as Kai and Luhan wanted to go with her. “It's alright.” Hana assured them, even though she wanted to run away. Everything inside her struggled to follow the servant.
As she stopped in front of Elijah, she didn't know for a moment what she should do. Her mind didn't function and the only thing she could do was to stare at him. Luckily, her instincts didn't stop to function and she made a small bow. “Your majesty.” He looked at her like a hunter would look at his prey and Hana tried her best to calm herself down. “What a beautiful girl.”
Normally, those words were a compliment but in her ears they weren't compliment at all. Elijah was terrifying but that other guy sent shudders down her spine. “Come here.” Her legs refused to move. They simply didn't want and as Elijah patted on small space next to him, everything inside her screamed. “Are you refusing?” There was coldness in Elijah's voice and a small hint of command. Her legs started to move automatically and she sat down next to him.
An arm laid around her shoulders while Hana stiffened gradually. His fingers closed around her chin and turned her head towards him. There was
