hardworking arabella believe that success comes with hardwork and there's no free lunch in the world. she works for what she wants and often stay for extra practice to makesure she doesn't hold back the team. even when she's really tired from school and stuff, she will still push herself to practice for atleast 3 hours a day to secure her chances of debuting.

resillient just like all the other foreign trainees, she faced many challenges during training. she was often belittled by other trainees when she first joined because her vocals wasn't on par and she could barely speak korean. she also had to sacrifice sleeping time to juggle between studying and training and even though it was tough, she never once thought of giving up. since she's already here, she wants to give it her best shot.

optimistic she always look at the positive side of situations. its also a way for her to cope with whatever she's going through. if its raining and she's stuck in the company with no umbrella, she will see it as a chance for her to practice more. if she's sick, she will see it as a chance for her to recharge herself. no matter what happened, she will keep a positive mindset because she believe that mental health is more important than physical health.

stubborn once she made up her mind, no one will be able to stop her from doing what she wants to do. even if she knows its wrong, she will not accept criticism and advice until its too late.

rebellious arabella doesn't like being told what to do, she doesn't like being controlled by others. she hates living a caged life. she often breaks rules and sneak out and even though she gets punished for it, she still thinks that its worth it because she had fun and that's all that really mattered to her. but she's also careful not to overdo it because she can't risk getting kicked out of the company.

hotheaded she doesn't take from others, when she was being mocked by trainees when she first joined, even when she barely understood what they said, she still went and confronted them. because of this trait, she got into multiple fights in school and in company.

arabella was born in a middle-class family, youngest of the 3 children. her parents may be busy working but still makesure they spend adequate time with their children. she has 2 older brothers, aiden and august. aiden was the oldest and 4 years older than her, he looked after his 2 younger siblings like they're his children and while august may be younger [2 years older than her] and more playful, he's also more protective of arabella. if anyone dared to bully her, august will beat them up, literally. and because of his overprotectiveness, no one dared to confess to her, which is why she never had a boyfriend before. her studies were average, its not the best, but its not the worst either. she pass all her classes with a B and occassionally an a.

when she was on a holiday in korea with her family, her brothers and her were strolling on the streets one evening while her parents went for dinner, when she got scouted by someone from the company. she was shocked and didn't believe the scouter at first until she went home and did some research and found out that its a legit company. she found out about kpop a few days ago in korea and while she didn't exactly plan to debut as an idol, she wanted to find out more about them, like how they were able to be so synchronised while dancing and singing while dancing and stuffs like that. so she decided to go audition after discussing it with her family and they were really supportive of her. she made it in with her dance background [was part of her school's modern dance club] and she was really happy and excited until she realized she have to live in korea. neither of her parents are able to just abandon their work and move to korea despite them really wanting to supprot her. that's when aiden offered to stay in korea with her, since he will be graduating highschool soon. the second he graduated from highschool, they flew to korea and aiden went to study in a university there while arabella attended an international school.

it was difficult for her, not knowing much korean. she couldn't communicate to many trainees and was alone for the first few months. also, she was lacking in vocals. she couldn't hit the high notes and her voice just wasn't stable enough. honestly, if it wasn't for her dance, she would have gotten kicked out long ago. when she knows that trainees were talking about her, saying she got in because of her looks, she confronted them and got into a fight. after that fight, she was banned from training for 3 days. she thought hard about and decided that instead of beating them up, she will train even harder and make them feel inferior next to her. so even though she couldn't go to the training, she trained hard at home, and at her school rooftop. after the 3 days, she went back to the company and surprised everyone. her voice is now stable except for the occassional crack and she could now dance while singing, something not alot of trainees can accomplish within 6 months of training.

after 2 years, she is pretty much set. her voice still isn't the strongest but her range increased. she also picked up other forms of dancing and learnt to choreograph dances. much to her satisfaction, the trainees that looked down on her are all either still trainees or have already left the company. she also made friends that will debut with her and they are the reason why her korean improved so much.

"woman, bring the next kid." jaeyoung signals to yoi who rolls her eyes, "ara, please, child, come over, its your turn," yoi called out for the 7th time, hoping arabella will stop running away and come for the interview. and her prayers have been answered, because arabella walked in nonchalantly, winking cheekily at yoi before sitting down.

"you know the drill," jaeyoung yawns, getting bored of the routine already, "i'll flash cue cards and you answer the questions— actually it would be even better if you can strip off and entertain me,"

please introduce yourself. "im arabella kang bi seul, but just call me ara." she stared at the camera and let out a little smile, revealing her canine.

how does it feel to finally debut? "i'm actually nervous but excited. once we debut, people will know me and i can no longer do what i used to do normally. but i also hope i will be able to bring smiles to people."

how does it feel debuting in a co-ed group? do you get along with the opposite members? she let out a laugh at this question, "i don't care about the guys, i pretty much grew up with 2 older brothers and its getting boring, but with the girls, i can actually talk to them about feminine stuffs."

what inspired you to be an idol, and do you have anyone you look up to? "i never really thought about becoming and idol and stuff, but i wanted to find out more about what they does. when i came to korea, i WATCHED A EXO PERFORMANCE AND REALLY WANTED TO FIND OUT HOW THEY ARE ABLE TO BE THIS SYNCHRONISED WHILE DANCING AND SINGING AT THE SAME TIME, at that time, that was the main reason why i wanted to become a trainee and i found out that its really difficult. i look up to exo's baekhyun alot. he's really mesmerising on stage and really charismatic," her cheeks flushed up at the last line and she fanned herself with her hands.

are there any special moments during your trainee days that you would like to share with us? "when i first joined the company, there were these trainees that looked down on me.  but none of them debuted yet so look who's laughing now?"

what is your role in the group? "i'm in charge of choreographing our songs."

what would you like to achieve in the future with the group? "for now, rookie of the year! hopefully we'll make it big like seventeen sunbaenims."

is there anything you would like to do with the group other than your usual schedule? "I want to join a progaming team. maybe skt t1 can adopt me when my skills are good enough."

if you could join one program in the near future, what would it be? "law of the jungle! i always liked this kind of survival stuffs."

do you have any last words? "please support celestial and i! we will work hard and not disappoint, i promise."

personality. 

park jihoon is the aegyo prince of wannaone, famous for his jeojang aegyo. despite his cute image on camera, he is really the complete opposite off camera. he hardly does aegyo and likes to think of himself as a manly man instead. he's actually really awkward and kinda shy at first meeting but once he warmed up to you wowowow are you sure they're the same person??? he gets mad when people make fun of his jeojang or calls him a pig but he looks extra cute when he's mad so you probably can't take him seriously. but once he's seriously angry, you'll regret being born. he's always eating and even his mum told him to stop eating. he's also not the type to beat around the bush and will just get straight to the point.

love story. after guanlin debuted, ara and guanlin were sitting on their school rooftop, having a mini celebration. guanlin was showing ara videos of s and ara spotted one particular member doing aegyo. and even though she's not a big fan of aegyos, this guy really caught her eyes like wow the visuals. ara asked about him and guanlin started teasing her like, "are you finally showing interest in a guy??? guess you won't have to end up as a nun afterall." despite his teasings, he's actually a pretty good cupid, because he knows that jihoon finds ara cute too [bc his lockscreen is a picture of him and ara and one day jihoon saw and was like wow whos dat girl]. guanlin tried really hard to find chances for the 2 of them to meet up but its really hard as wannaone was promoting at that time.

butbutbut one cold night, ara was walking home from her company when she passed by a basketball court. and wowzies guanlin's over there with her crush!! they ended up playing together and even though it was awkward at first, ara and jihoon slowly warmed up with eachother and soon the 3 of them started playing basketball together every midnight. then one night guanlin made up some stupid excuses and decided not to go so the 2 of them can be alone. and that night was the night that jihoon and ara got close, halfway throughout their game they just sit down there and started talking and they were both shocked at how similiar they both were to eachother.

so jihoon walked her home and ara was worried because his dorm is far from her house so she ask him to text her when he gets back but he was like "i dont have your number" and thats when they exchanged numbers and after that night, they both started texting eachother on a regular basis and even started gaming together. a few months later, jihoon and ara were playing a game together and jihoon made a silent promise to himself that if they win that game he will confess. and they won. so before they go to bed, jihoon texted her, "goodnight idiot. i think i like you." and ara was literally like, "lol same."
