"Let's have our own baby!" Joy said out of nowhere.

The two were relaxing at home watching some dog food commercial.

"W-what? That's, that's a huge step, and and, I want to do it… someday. There is a lot we need to discuss since we are…" Wendy panicked at the sudden suggestion.

Joy gave Wendy a quizzical look. "I meant a dog." Joy pointed to the commercial that was ending.

"Oh… Haha. DON'T CALL THEM BABIES!"

This particular weekend, the couple was acting particularly greasy and cutesy together. They went as far as being attached by the hip and shoulders all the way to the grocery despite how difficult it was to walk and the stares they were getting.

With a bag in Joy's left hand and a bag in Wendy's right hand, their teamwork was undeniable.

"Joy-ah, it's times like this that reminds me how much I love you and how well we worked together." Wendy felt like she was in a dream with her partner next to her.

Joy hummed in response.

They decided to cut through a park for a shortcut.

"You know Joy… about earlier… I know it was a misunderstanding, but it really had me thinking. We had never really discussed it before, but I was…" Wendy looked over at Joy who was… missing? All of a sudden she was missing her other half and had two bags in hand.

A quick scan revealed Joy a dozen steps away, crouched down, greeting a cute dog.

Wendy was embarrassed to be having that intimate moment with the air.

"Joy!"

After watching Joy finish up her playdate, she jogged back to a patient wife.

"Sorry Wen, he was just sooo cute! You were talking about what happened earlier?" Like nothing ever happened, Joy grabbed the bag back and s her arm around Wendy.

Wendy was happy Joy was still listening even if she left the conversation midway.

"Right… What I was saying was, we both thought we were too young, but I wonder if we should still discuss it, because I really want to start a family with you and…"

Wendy felt a weight in her left hand again.

"Joy!"

After the 5th dog snatched away Joy's attention, Wendy got the picture. Joy returned again, this time from a pair of big dogs. She truly loved dogs of all kinds.

Deciding to ditch the conversation for a later time, Wendy moved onto a more relevant discussion. "You really want a dog don't you."

"Yeah…"
